Al-Baqarah 2
بِ
In
ٱسۡمِ
name of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ
The Infinitely Extremely Merciful
ٱلرَّحِيمِ
The Consistently Merciful
الٓمٓ
Alif Lam Meem
ذَٰلِكَ
That
ٱلۡ
the
كِتَٰبُ
Book
لَا
no
رَيۡبَۛ
doubt
فِي
in
هِۛ
it
هُدٗى
guidance
لِ
for
ٱلۡ
the
مُتَّقِينَ
mindful of Allah
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
they believe
بِ
in
ٱلۡ
the
غَيۡبِ
unseen
و
&
َيُقِيمُونَ
they establish
ٱل
the
صَّلَوٰةَ
prayer
و
&
َمِمَّا
from what
رَزَق
provided
ۡنَ
We
ٰهُمۡ
them
يُنفِقُونَ
they spend
و
&
َٱلَّذِينَ
those who
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
they believe
بِ
in
مَآ
what
أُنزِلَ
was sent down
إِلَىٰ
to
كَ
you
و
&
َمَآ
what
أُنزِلَ
was sent down
مِن
from
قَبۡل
before
ِكَ
you
و
&
َب
in
ِٱل
the
ۡأٓخِرَةِ
Hereafter
هُمۡ
they
يُوقِنُونَ
they are certain
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
Those
عَلَىٰ
on
هُدٗى
guidance
مِّن
from
رَّبِّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
هِمۡۖ
their
و
&
َأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
those
هُمُ
they
ٱلۡ
the
مُفۡلِحُونَ
successful
إِنَّ
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
كَفَرُواْ
they disbelieved
سَوَآءٌ
all the same
عَلَىٰ
on
ۡهِمۡ
them
ءَ
Did
أَنذَرۡتَ
you warn
هُمۡ
them
أَمۡ
or
لَمۡ
not
تُنذِرۡ
you warn
هُمۡ
them
لَا
not
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
they believe
خَتَمَ
sealed
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
عَلَىٰ
on
قُلُوبِ
hearts
هِمۡ
their
و
&
َعَلَىٰ
on
سَمۡعِ
hearing
هِمۡ
their
و
&
َعَلَىٰٓ
on
أَبۡصَٰرِ
sight
هِمۡ
their
غِشَٰوَةٞ
a covering
و
&
َ
for
لَهُمۡ
them
عَذَابٌ
punishment
عَظِيمٞ
great
و
&
َمِنَ
among
ٱل
the
نَّاسِ
people
مَن
who
يَقُولُ
says
ءَامَنَّا
we believe
بِ
in
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
و
&
َب
in
ِٱ
the
لۡيَوۡمِ
Day
ٱلۡ
the
أٓخِرِ
Last
و
&
َمَا
not
هُم
they
بِ
truly
مُؤۡمِنِينَ
believers
يُخَٰدِعُونَ
they deceive
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
و
&
َٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
believed
و
&
َمَا
not
يَخۡدَعُونَ
they deceive
إِلَّآ
except
أَنفُسَ
selves
هُمۡ
their
و
&
َمَا
not
يَشۡعُرُونَ
they perceive
فِى
In
قُلُوبِ
hearts
هِم
their
مَّرَضٞ
disease
فَ
so
زَاد
increased
َهُمُ
them
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
مَرَضٗا
in disease
و
&
َ
for
لَهُمۡ
them
عَذَابٌ
punishment
أَلِيمُ
painful
بِ
because of
مَا
what
كَانُواْ
they used to
يَكۡذِبُونَ
lie
و
&
َإِذَا
when
قِيلَ
it is said
ل
to
َهُمۡ
them
لَا
not
تُفۡسِدُواْ
you corrupt
فِى
in
ٱلۡ
the
أَرۡضِ
earth
قَالُوٓاْ
they say
إِنَّمَا
only
نَحۡنُ
we
مُصۡلِحُونَ
reformers
أَلَآ
behold
إِن
indeed
َّهُمۡ
they
هُمُ
they
ٱلۡ
the
مُفۡسِدُونَ
corrupters
و
&
َلَٰكِن
but
لَّا
not
يَشۡعُرُونَ
they perceive
و
&
َإِذَا
when
قِيلَ
it is said
ل
to
َهُمۡ
them
ءَامِنُواْ
believe
كَمَآ
as
ءَامَنَ
believed
ٱل
the
نَّاسُ
people
قَالُوٓاْ
they say
أَ
Should
نُؤۡمِنُ
we believe
كَمَآ
as
ءَامَنَ
believed
ٱل
the
سُّفَهَآءُ
fools
أَلَآ
behold
إِن
indeed
َّهُمۡ
they
هُمُ
they
ٱل
the
سُّفَهَآءُ
fools
و
&
َلَٰكِن
but
لَّا
not
يَعۡلَمُونَ
they know
و
&
َإِذَا
when
لَقُواْ
they meet
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
believed
قَالُوٓاْ
they say
ءَامَنَّا
we believe
و
&
َإِذَا
when
خَلَوۡاْ
they are alone
إِلَىٰ
with
شَيَٰطِينِ
devils
هِمۡ
their
قَالُوٓاْ
they say
إِنَّا
indeed we
مَع
with
َكُمۡ
you
إِنَّمَا
only
نَحۡنُ
we
مُسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ
mockers
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
يَسۡتَهۡزِئُ
mocks
بِ
at
هِمۡ
them
و
&
َيَمُدُّ
He gives rope
هُمۡ
to them
فِى
in
طُغۡيَٰنِ
transgression
هِمۡ
their
يَعۡمَهُونَ
they wander blindly
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
Those
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ٱشۡتَرَوُاْ
they bought
ٱل
the
ضَّلَٰلَةَ
straying
بِ
with
ٱلۡ
the
هُدَىٰ
guidance
فَ
so
مَا
not
رَبِحَت
profited
تِّجَٰرَت
trade
ُهُمۡ
their
و
&
َمَا
not
كَانُواْ
they were
مُهۡتَدِينَ
guided
مَثَلُ
example
هُمۡ
their
ك
like
َمَثَلِ
example of
ٱلَّذِى
the one who
ٱسۡتَوۡقَدَ
lit
نَارٗا
a fire
فَ
so
لَمَّآ
when
أَضَآءَتۡ
it lit up
مَا
what
حَوۡل
around
َهُۥ
it
ذَهَبَ
took away
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
بِ
with
نُورِ
light
هِمۡ
their
و
&
َتَر
He left
َكَهُمۡ
them
فِى
in
ظُلُمَٰت
darknesses
لَّا
not
يُبۡصِرُونَ
they see
صُمُّ
deaf
بُكۡمٌ
dumb
عُمۡى
blind
فَ
so
هُمۡ
they
لَا
not
يَرۡجِعُونَ
they return
أَوۡ
Or
ك
like
َصَيِّب
a rainstorm
مِّنَ
from
ٱل
the
سَّمَآءِ
sky
فِي
in
هِ
it
ظُلُمَٰت
darknesses
و
&
َرَعۡد
thunder
و
&
َبَرۡق
lightning
يَجۡعَلُونَ
they put
أَصَٰبِعَ
fingers
هُمۡ
their
فِىٓ
in
ءَاذَان
ears
ِهِم
their
مِّنَ
from
ٱل
the
صَّوَٰعِقِ
thunderbolts
حَذَرَ
fear of
ٱلۡ
the
مَوۡتِ
death
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
مُحِيطُ
encompassing
بِ
with
ٱلۡ
the
كَٰفِرِينَ
disbelievers
يَكَادُ
nearly
ٱلۡ
the
بَرۡقُ
lightning
يَخۡطَفُ
snatches away
أَبۡصَٰرَ
sights
هُمۡ
their
كُلَّمَآ
whenever
أَضَآءَ
it lit
لَ
for
هُم
them
مَّشَوۡاْ
they walked
فِي
in
هِ
it
و
&
َإِذَآ
when
أَظۡلَمَ
it became dark
عَلَىٰ
on
ۡهِمۡ
them
قَامُواْ
they stood
و
&
َلَوۡ
if
شَآءَ
He willed
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
لَ
surely
ذَهَبَ
He would take away
بِ
with
سَمۡع
hearing
ِهِمۡ
their
و
&
َأَبۡصَٰ
sights
رِهِمۡ
their
إِنَّ
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
عَلَىٰ
over
كُلِّ
every
شَىۡء
thing
قَدِير
All-Powerful
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
O
ٱل
the
نَّاسُ
people
ٱعۡبُدُواْ
worship
رَبَّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
كُمُ
your
ٱلَّذِى
the One who
خَلَق
created
َكُمۡ
you
و
&
َٱلَّذِينَ
those who
مِن
from
قَبۡل
before
ِكُمۡ
you
لَعَلَّ
so that
كُمۡ
you
تَتَّقُونَ
you become mindful
ٱلَّذِى
the One who
جَعَلَ
made
ل
for
َكُمُ
you
ٱلۡ
the
أَرۡضَ
earth
فِرَٰشٗا
a spread
و
&
َٱ
the
لسَّمَآءَ
sky
بِنَآءٗ
a building
و
&
َأَنزَلَ
He sent down
مِنَ
from
ٱل
the
سَّمَآءِ
sky
مَآءٗ
water
فَ
so
أَخۡرَجَ
He brought out
بِ
with
هِۦ
it
مِنَ
from
ٱل
the
ثَّمَرَٰتِ
fruits
رِزۡقٗا
a provision
لَّ
for
كُمۡ
you
فَ
so
لَا
not
تَجۡعَلُواْ
you set up
لِ
for
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
أَندَادٗا
rivals
و
&
َأَنتُمۡ
you
تَعۡلَمُونَ
you know
و
&
َإِن
if
كُنتُمۡ
you are
فِى
in
رَيۡب
doubt
مِّمَّا
of what
نَزَّلۡ
sent down
نَا
We
عَلَىٰ
on
عَبۡدِ
servant of
نَا
Our
فَ
then
أۡتُواْ
bring
بِ
with
سُورَة
a surah
مِّن
from
مِّثۡلِ
like
هِۦ
it
و
&
َٱدۡعُواْ
call
شُهَدَآءَ
witnesses
كُم
your
مِّن
from
دُونِ
besides
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
إِن
if
كُنتُمۡ
you are
صَٰدِقِينَ
truthful
فَ
so
إِن
if
لَّمۡ
not
تَفۡعَلُواْ
you do
و
&
َلَن
never
تَفۡعَلُواْ
you do
فَ
so
ٱتَّقُواْ
be mindful of Allah
ٱل
the
نَّارَ
Fire
ٱلَّتِى
whose
وَقُود
fuel
ُهَا
its
ٱل
the
نَّاسُ
people
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡحِجَارَةُ
stones
أُعِدَّتۡ
it is prepared
لِ
for
ٱلۡ
the
كَٰفِرِينَ
disbelievers
و
&
َبَشِّرِ
give good news to
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
believed
و
&
َعَمِلُواْ
did
ٱل
the
صَّٰلِحَٰتِ
righteous deeds
أَنَّ
that
ل
for
َهُمۡ
them
جَنَّٰت
gardens
تَجۡرِى
flow
مِن
from
تَحۡت
beneath
ِهَا
it
ٱلۡ
the
أَنۡهَٰرُ
rivers
كُلَّمَا
whenever
رُزِقُواْ
they are provided
مِن
from
ۡهَا
it
مِن
as
ثَمَرَة
fruit
رِّزۡقٗا
a provision
قَالُواْ
they say
هَٰذَا
this
ٱلَّذِى
which
رُزِق
we were provided
ۡنَا
we
مِن
from
قَبۡلُ
before
و
&
َأُتُواْ
they are brought
بِ
with
هِۦ
it
مُتَشَٰبِهٗا
alike
و
&
َ
for
لَهُمۡ
them
فِي
in
هَآ
them
أَزۡوَٰج
spouses
مُّطَهَّرَة
purified
و
&
َهُمۡ
they
فِي
in
هَا
them
خَٰلِدُونَ
abiding forever
إِنَّ
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
لَا
not
يَسۡتَحۡىِۦٓ
He is ashamed
أَن
to
يَضۡرِبَ
He gives
مَثَلٗا
an example
مَّا
whatever
بَعُوضَةٗ
a mosquito
فَ
or
مَا
what
فَوۡقَ
above
هَا
it
فَ
so
أَمَّا
as for
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
believed
فَ
so
يَعۡلَمُونَ
they know
أَنَّ
that
هُ
it
ٱلۡ
the
حَقُّ
truth
مِن
from
رَّبّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
ِهِمۡ
their
و
&
َأَمَّا
as for
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
كَفَرُواْ
disbelieved
فَ
so
يَقُولُونَ
they say
مَاذَآ
What
أَرَادَ
did intend
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
بِ
with
هَٰذَا
this
مَثَلٗا
an example
يُضِلُّ
He misguides
بِ
with
هِۦ
it
كَثِيرٗا
many
و
&
َيَهۡدِى
He guides
بِ
with
هِۦ
it
كَثِيرٗا
many
و
&
َمَا
not
يُضِلُّ
He misguides
بِ
with
هِۦٓ
it
إِلَّا
except
ٱلۡ
the
فَٰسِقِينَ
defiant
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
يَنقُضُونَ
they break
عَهۡدَ
covenant of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
مِنۢ
from
بَعۡدِ
after
مِيثَٰقِ
solemn covenant
هِۦ
its
و
&
َيَقۡطَعُونَ
they cut
مَآ
what
أَمَرَ
commanded
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
بِ
with
هِۦٓ
it
أَن
to
يُوصَلَ
be joined
و
&
َيُفۡسِدُونَ
they corrupt
فِى
in
ٱلۡ
the
أَرۡضِ
earth
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
Those
هُمُ
they
ٱلۡ
the
خَٰسِرُونَ
losers
كَيۡفَ
How
تَكۡفُرُونَ
you disbelieve
بِ
in
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
و
&
َكُنتُمۡ
you were
أَمۡوَٰتٗا
dead
فَ
so
أَحۡيَ
He gave life to
ٰكُمۡ
you
ثُمَّ
then
يُمِيتُ
He will cause to die
كُمۡ
you
ثُمَّ
then
يُحۡيِي
He will give life to
كُمۡ
you
ثُمَّ
then
إِلَىٰ
to
هِ
Him
تُرۡجَعُونَ
you will be returned
هُوَ
He
ٱلَّذِى
the One who
خَلَقَ
created
لَ
for
كُم
you
مَّا
what
فِى
in
ٱلۡ
the
أَرۡضِ
earth
جَمِيعٗا
all
ثُمَّ
then
ٱسۡتَوَىٰٓ
He turned
إِلَى
to
ٱل
the
سَّمَآءِ
sky
فَ
so
سَوَّىٰ
He fashioned
هُنَّ
them
سَبۡعَ
seven
سَمَٰوَٰتٖ
heavens
و
&
َهُوَ
He
بِ
of
كُلِّ
every
شَىۡءٍ
thing
عَلِيم
All-Knowing
و
&
َإِذۡ
when
قَالَ
said
رَبُّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
كَ
your
لِ
to
ٱلۡ
the
مَلَٰٓئِكَةِ
angels
إِنِّ
Indeed
ى
I
جَاعِل
am placing
فِى
in
ٱلۡ
the
أَرۡضِ
earth
خَلِيفَةٗ
a successor
قَالُوٓاْ
they said
أَ
Will
تَجۡعَلُ
You place
فِي
in
هَا
it
مَن
one who
يُفۡسِدُ
corrupts
فِي
in
هَا
it
و
&
َيَسۡفِكُ
sheds
ٱل
the
دِّمَآءَ
blood
و
&
َنَحۡنُ
we
نُسَبِّحُ
we glorify
بِ
with
حَمۡدِ
praise of
كَ
You
و
&
َنُقَدِّسُ
we sanctify
لَ
for
كَ
You
قَالَ
He said
إِنِّ
Indeed
ىٓ
I
أَعۡلَمُ
know
مَا
what
لَا
not
تَعۡلَمُونَ
you know
و
&
َعَلَّمَ
He taught
ءَادَمَ
Adam
ٱلۡ
the
أَسۡمَآءَ
names
كُلّ
all of
َهَا
them
ثُمَّ
then
عَرَض
He presented
َهُمۡ
them
عَلَى
to
ٱلۡ
the
مَلَٰٓئِكَةِ
angels
فَ
so
قَالَ
He said
أَنۢبِـُٔو
Inform
نِى
Me
بِ
with
أَسۡمَآءِ
names of
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
these
إِن
if
كُنتُمۡ
you are
صَٰدِقِينَ
truthful
قَالُواْ
they said
سُبۡحَٰن
Glory be to
َكَ
You
لَا
no
عِلۡمَ
knowledge
لَ
for
نَآ
us
إِلَّا
except
مَا
what
عَلَّمۡ
You taught
تَنَآ
us
إِنَّ
Indeed
كَ
You
أَنتَ
You
ٱلۡعَلِيمُ
The All-Knowing
ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
The Perfectly Wise
قَالَ
He said
يَٰٓـ
O
َٔادَمُ
Adam
أَنۢبِئۡ
inform
هُم
them
بِ
with
أَسۡمَآئِ
names of
هِمۡ
their
فَ
so
لَمَّآ
when
أَنۢبَأَ
he informed
هُم
them
بِ
with
أَسۡمَآئِ
names of
هِمۡ
their
قَالَ
He said
أَ
Did
لَمۡ
not
أَقُل
I say
لَّ
to
كُمۡ
you
إِنِّ
Indeed
ىٓ
I
أَعۡلَمُ
know
غَيۡبَ
unseen of
ٱل
the
سَّمَٰوَٰتِ
heavens
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡأَرۡضِ
earth
و
&
َأَعۡلَمُ
I know
مَا
what
تُبۡدُونَ
you reveal
و
&
َمَا
what
كُنتُمۡ
you were
تَكۡتُمُونَ
concealing
و
&
َإِذۡ
when
قُلۡ
said
نَا
We
لِ
to
ٱلۡ
the
مَلَٰٓئِكَةِ
angels
ٱسۡجُدُواْ
prostrate
لِ
to
أٓدَمَ
Adam
فَ
so
سَجَدُوٓاْ
they prostrated
إِلَّآ
except
إِبۡلِيسَ
Iblees
أَبَىٰ
he refused
و
&
َٱسۡتَكۡبَرَ
he was arrogant
و
&
َكَانَ
he was
مِنَ
among
ٱلۡ
the
كَٰفِرِينَ
disbelievers
و
&
َقُل
said
ۡنَا
We
يَٰٓـ
O
َٔادَمُ
Adam
ٱسۡكُنۡ
dwell
أَنتَ
you
و
&
َزَوۡج
spouse
ُكَ
your
ٱلۡ
the
جَنَّةَ
Garden
و
&
َكُلَا
both eat
مِن
from
ۡهَا
it
رَغَدًا
freely
حَيۡثُ
wherever
شِئۡتُمَا
you both wish
و
&
َلَا
not
تَقۡرَبَا
you both approach
هَٰذِهِ
this
ٱل
the
شَّجَرَةَ
tree
فَ
so
تَكُونَا
you both become
مِنَ
among
ٱل
the
ظَّٰلِمِينَ
wrongdoers
فَ
so
أَزَلَّ
He caused to slip
هُمَا
them both
ٱل
the
شَّيۡطَٰنُ
Satan
عَنۡ
from
هَا
it
فَ
so
أَخۡرَ
He brought out
جَهُمَا
them both
مِمَّا
of what
كَانَا
they both were
فِي
in
هِ
it
و
&
َقُل
said
ۡنَا
We
ٱهۡبِطُواْ
go down
بَعۡضُ
some of
كُمۡ
you
لِ
to
بَعۡضٍ
others
عَدُوّ
enemies
و
&
َ
for
لَكُمۡ
you
فِى
in
ٱلۡ
the
أَرۡضِ
earth
مُسۡتَقَرّ
a dwelling place
و
&
َمَتَٰعٌ
provision
إِلَىٰ
till
حِين
a time
فَ
so
تَلَقَّىٰٓ
received
ءَادَمُ
Adam
مِن
from
رَّبّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
ِهِۦ
his
كَلِمَٰت
words
فَ
so
تَابَ
He forgave
عَلَىٰ
on
هِ
him
إِنَّ
Indeed
هُۥ
He
هُوَ
He
ٱلتَّوَّابُ
The Accepter of Repentance
ٱلرَّحِيمُ
The Consistently Merciful
قُلۡ
said
نَا
We
ٱهۡبِطُواْ
go down
مِن
from
ۡهَا
it
جَمِيعٗا
all
فَ
then
إِمَّا
if
يَأۡتِيَنَّ
comes
كُم
to you
مِّنِّ
from
ى
Me
هُدٗى
guidance
فَ
then
مَن
whoever
تَبِعَ
follows
هُدَا
guidance
ىَ
My
فَ
so
لَا
no
خَوۡفٌ
fear
عَلَىٰ
on
ۡهِمۡ
them
و
&
َلَا
not
هُمۡ
they
يَحۡزَنُونَ
grieve
و
&
َٱلَّذِينَ
those who
كَفَرُواْ
disbelieved
و
&
َكَذَّبُواْ
denied
بِـ
in
َٔايَٰت
signs of
ِنَآ
Our
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
Those
أَصۡحَٰبُ
companions of
ٱل
the
نَّارِ
Fire
هُمۡ
they
فِي
in
هَا
it
خَٰلِدُونَ
abiding forever
يَٰ
O
بَنِىٓ
children of
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
Israel
ٱذۡكُرُواْ
remember
نِعۡمَتِ
favour
ىَ
My
ٱلَّتِىٓ
which
أَنۡعَمۡتُ
I bestowed
عَلَىٰ
on
كُمۡ
you
و
&
َأَوۡفُواْ
fulfil
بِ
with
عَهۡدِ
covenant
ىٓ
My
أُوفِ
I fulfil
بِ
with
عَهۡد
covenant
ِكُمۡ
your
و
&
َإِيَّٰىَ
Me alone
فَ
so
ٱرۡهَبُو
fear
نِ
Me
و
&
َءَامِنُواْ
believe
بِ
in
مَآ
what
أَنزَلۡتُ
I sent down
مُصَدِّقٗا
confirming
لِّ
for
مَا
what
مَع
with
َكُمۡ
you
و
&
َلَا
not
تَكُونُوٓاْ
be
أَوَّلَ
first
كَافِرِ
disbeliever
بِ
in
هِۦ
it
و
&
َلَا
not
تَشۡتَرُواْ
sell
بِـ
for
َٔايَٰت
signs of
ِى
My
ثَمَنٗا
a price
قَلِيلٗا
small
و
&
َإِيَّٰىَ
Me alone
فَ
so
ٱتَّقُو
be mindful of
نِ
Me
و
&
َلَا
not
تَلۡبِسُواْ
you mix
ٱلۡ
the
حَقَّ
truth
بِ
with
ٱلۡ
the
بَٰطِلِ
falsehood
و
&
َتَكۡتُمُواْ
you conceal
ٱلۡ
the
حَقَّ
truth
و
&
َأَنتُمۡ
you
تَعۡلَمُونَ
know
و
&
َأَقِيمُواْ
establish
ٱل
the
صَّلَوٰةَ
prayer
و
&
َءَاتُواْ
give
ٱل
the
زَّكَوٰةَ

َٱرۡكَعُواْ

مَعَ
with
ٱل
the
رَّٰكِعِينَ
ones who bow
أَ
Do
تَأۡمُرُونَ
you order
ٱل
the
نَّاسَ
people
بِ
with
ٱلۡ
the
بِرِّ
righteousness
و
&
َتَنسَوۡنَ
you forget
أَنفُسَ
selves of
كُمۡ
your
و
&
َأَنتُمۡ
you
تَتۡلُونَ
recite
ٱلۡ
the
كِتَٰبَ
Book
أَفَ
Will
لَا
not
تَعۡقِلُونَ
you reason
و
&
َٱسۡتَعِينُواْ
seek help
بِ
with
ٱل
the
صَّبۡرِ
patience
و
&
َٱ
the
لصَّلَوٰةِ
prayer
و
&
َإِنّ
indeed
َهَا
it
لَ
surely
كَبِيرَةٌ
a great thing
إِلَّا
except
عَلَى
on
ٱلۡ
the
خَٰشِعِينَ
humbly submissive
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
يَظُنُّونَ
are certain
أَنَّ
that
هُم
they
مُّلَٰقُواْ
ones who will meet
رَبِّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
هِمۡ
their
و
&
َأَنّ
that
َهُمۡ
they
إِلَىٰ
to
هِ
Him
رَٰجِعُونَ
ones who return
يَٰ
O
بَنِىٓ
children of
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
Israel
ٱذۡكُرُواْ
remember
نِعۡمَتِ
favour
ىَ
My
ٱلَّتِىٓ
which
أَنۡعَمۡتُ
I bestowed
عَلَىٰ
on
كُمۡ
you
و
&
َأَنّ
that
ِى
I
فَضَّلۡت
I preferred
ُكُمۡ
you
عَلَى
over
ٱلۡ
the
عَٰلَمِينَ
worlds
و
&
َٱتَّقُواْ
be mindful of Allah
يَوۡمٗا
a Day
لَّا
not
تَجۡزِى
avails
نَفۡسٌ
a soul
عَن
for
نَّفۡس
a soul
شَيۡـٔٗا
anything
و
&
َلَا
not
يُقۡبَلُ
accepted
مِن
from
ۡهَا
her
شَفَٰعَة
intercession
و
&
َلَا
not
يُؤۡخَذُ
taken
مِن
from
ۡهَا
her
عَدۡل
ransom
و
&
َلَا
not
هُمۡ
they
يُنصَرُونَ
helped
و
&
َإِذۡ
when
نَجَّيۡ
saved
نَ
We
ٰكُم
you
مِّنۡ
from
ءَالِ
family of
فِرۡعَوۡنَ
Pharaoh
يَسُومُونَ
they afflicted
كُمۡ
you
سُوٓءَ
worst of
ٱلۡ
the
عَذَابِ
punishment
يُذَبِّحُونَ
slaughtering
أَبۡنَآء
sons
َكُمۡ
your
و
&
َيَسۡتَحۡيُونَ
sparing alive
نِسَآء
women
َكُمۡ
your
و
&
َفِى
in
ذَٰلِكُم
that
بَلَآء
a trial
مِّن
from
رَّبّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
ِكُمۡ
your
عَظِيم
great
و
&
َإِذۡ
when
فَرَقۡ
parted
نَا
We
بِ
for
كُمُ
you
ٱلۡ
the
بَحۡرَ
sea
فَ
so
أَنجَيۡ
saved
نَ
We
ٰكُمۡ
you
و
&
َأَغۡرَق
drowned
ۡنَآ
We
ءَالَ
family of
فِرۡعَوۡنَ
Pharaoh
و
&
َأَنتُمۡ
you
تَنظُرُونَ
watch
و
&
َإِذۡ
when
وَٰعَد
appointed
ۡنَا
We
مُوسَىٰٓ
Musa
أَرۡبَعِينَ
forty
لَيۡلَةٗ
nights
ثُمَّ
then
ٱتَّخَذۡتُمُ
you took
ٱلۡ
the
عِجۡلَ
calf
مِنۢ
from
بَعۡد
after
ِهِۦ
him
و
&
َأَنتُمۡ
you
ظَٰلِمُونَ
wrongdoers
ثُمَّ
then
عَفَوۡ
pardoned
نَا
We
عَن
from
كُم
you
مِّنۢ
from
بَعۡدِ
after
ذَٰلِكَ
that
لَعَلَّ
so that
كُمۡ
you
تَشۡكُرُونَ
you are grateful
و
&
َإِذۡ
when
ءَاتَيۡ
gave
نَا
We
مُوسَى
Musa
ٱلۡ
the
كِتَٰبَ
Book
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡفُرۡقَانَ
Criterion
لَعَلَّ
so that
كُمۡ
you
تَهۡتَدُونَ
you are guided
و
&
َإِذۡ
when
قَالَ
said
مُوسَىٰ
Musa
لِ
to
قَوۡمِ
people
هِۦ
his
يَٰ
O
قَوۡمِ
my people
إِنَّ
indeed
كُمۡ
you
ظَلَمۡتُمۡ
you wronged
أَنفُسَ
selves of
كُم
your
بِ
by
ٱتِّخَاذ
taking of
ِكُمُ
your
ٱلۡ
the
عِجۡلَ
calf
فَ
so
تُوبُوٓاْ
turn back
إِلَىٰ
to
بَارِئِ
The Flawless Maker of
كُمۡ
you
فَ
so
ٱقۡتُلُوٓاْ
kill
أَنفُسَ
selves of
كُمۡ
your
ذَٰلِكُمۡ
that
خَيۡر
better
لَّ
for
كُمۡ
you
عِندَ
with
بَارِئِ
The Flawless Maker of
كُمۡ
you
فَ
so
تَابَ
He forgave
عَلَىٰ
on
كُمۡ
you
إِنَّ
Indeed
هُۥ
He
هُوَ
He
ٱلتَّوَّابُ
The Accepter of Repentance
ٱلرَّحِيمُ
The Consistently Merciful
و
&
َإِذۡ
when
قُلۡتُمۡ
you said
يَٰ
O
مُوسَىٰ
Musa
لَن
never
نُّؤۡمِنَ
we believe
لَ
for
كَ
you
حَتَّىٰ
until
نَرَى
we see
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
جَهۡرَةٗ
openly
فَ
so
أَخَذَتۡ
seized
كُمُ
you
ٱلص
the
َّٰعِقَةُ
thunderbolt
و
&
َأَنتُمۡ
you
تَنظُرُونَ
watch
ثُمَّ
then
بَعَثۡ
raised
نَ
We
ٰكُم
you
مِّنۢ
from
بَعۡدِ
after
مَوۡتِ
death of
كُمۡ
your
لَعَلَّ
so that
كُمۡ
you
تَشۡكُرُونَ
you are grateful
و
&
َظَلَّل
shaded
ۡنَا
We
عَلَىٰ
over
كُمُ
you
ٱلۡ
the
غَمَامَ
clouds
و
&
َأَنزَل
sent down
ۡنَا
We
عَلَىٰ
to
كُمُ
you
ٱلۡ
the
مَنَّ
manna
و
&
َٱل
the
سَّلۡوَىٰ
quails
كُلُواْ
eat
مِن
from
طَيِّبَٰتِ
good things of
مَا
what
رَزَقۡ
provided
نَ
We
ٰكُمۡ
you
و
&
َمَا
not
ظَلَمُو
they wronged
نَا
Us
و
&
َلَٰكِن
but
كَانُوٓاْ
they were
أَنفُسَ
selves of
هُمۡ
their
يَظۡلِمُونَ
wrong
و
&
َإِذۡ
when
قُلۡ
said
نَا
We
ٱدۡخُلُواْ
enter
هَٰذِهِ
this
ٱلۡ
the
قَرۡيَةَ
town
فَ
so
كُلُواْ
eat
مِن
from
ۡهَا
it
حَيۡثُ
wherever
شِئۡتُمۡ
you wish
رَغَدٗا
in plenty
و
&
َٱدۡخُلُواْ
enter
ٱلۡ
the
بَابَ
gate
سُجَّدٗا
prostrating
و
&
َقُولُواْ
say
حِطَّة
relieve us
نَّغۡفِرۡ
We will forgive
لَ
for
كُمۡ
you
خَطَٰيَٰ
sins of
كُمۡ
your
و
&
َسَنَزِيدُ
We will increase
ٱلۡ
the
مُحۡسِنِينَ
good-doers
فَ
so
بَدَّلَ
changed
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ظَلَمُواْ
wronged
قَوۡلًا
a saying
غَيۡرَ
other than
ٱلَّذِى
which
قِيلَ
was said
لَ
to
هُمۡ
them
فَ
so
أَنزَلۡ
sent down
نَا
We
عَلَى
on
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ظَلَمُواْ
wronged
رِجۡزٗا
a punishment
مِّنَ
from
ٱلس
the
َّمَآءِ
sky
بِ
for
مَا
what
كَانُواْ
they were
يَفۡسُقُونَ
disobeying
و
&
َإِذِ
when
ٱسۡتَسۡقَىٰ
asked for water
مُوسَىٰ
Musa
لِ
for
قَوۡمِ
people
هِۦ
his
فَ
so
قُلۡ
said
نَا
We
ٱضۡرِب
strike
بِّ
with
عَصَاكَ
your staff
ٱلۡ
the
حَجَرَ
rock
فَ
so
ٱنفَجَرَتۡ
gushed forth
مِن
from
ۡهُ
it
ٱثۡنَتَا
two
عَشۡرَةَ
& ten
عَيۡنٗا
springs
قَدۡ
indeed
عَلِمَ
knew
كُلُّ
every
أُنَاس
people
مَّشۡرَبَ
drinking place of
هُمۡ
their
كُلُواْ
eat
و
&
َٱشۡرَبُواْ
drink
مِن
from
رِّزۡقِ
provision of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
و
&
َلَا
not
تَعۡثَوۡاْ
spread corruption
فِى
in
ٱلۡ
the
أَرۡضِ
earth
مُفۡسِدِينَ
as corrupters
و
&
َإِذۡ
when
قُلۡتُمۡ
you said
يَٰ
O
مُوسَىٰ
Musa
لَن
never
نَّصۡبِرَ
we endure
عَلَىٰ
on
طَعَام
food
وَٰحِد
one
فَ
so
ٱدۡعُ
call
لَ
for
نَا
us
رَبَّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
كَ
your
يُخۡرِجۡ
He brings out
لَ
for
نَا
us
مِ
from
مَّا
what
تُنۢبِتُ
grows
ٱلۡ
the
أَرۡضُ
earth
مِنۢ
from
بَقۡل
herbs of
ِهَا
its
و
&
َقِثَّآئ
cucumbers of
ِهَا
its
و
&
َفُوم
garlic of
ِهَا
its
و
&
َعَدَس
lentils of
ِهَا
its
و
&
َبَصَل
onions of
ِهَا
its
قَالَ
said
أَتَسۡتَبۡدِلُونَ
you exchange
ٱلَّذِى
which
هُوَ
is
أَدۡنَىٰ
inferior
بِ
for
ٱلَّذِى
which
هُوَ
is
خَيۡرٌ
better
ٱهۡبِطُواْ
go down
مِصۡرٗا
a town
فَ
then
إِنَّ
indeed
لَ
for
كُم
you
مَّا
what
سَأَلۡتُمۡ
you asked
و
&
َضُرِبَتۡ
was stamped
عَلَىٰ
on
هِمُ
them
ٱلذ
the
ِّلَّةُ
humiliation
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡمَسۡكَنَةُ
misery
و
&
َبَآءُو
they incurred
بِ
with
غَضَب
anger
مِّنَ
from
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
ذَٰلِكَ
that
بِأَنَّ
because
هُمۡ
they
كَانُواْ
were
يَكۡفُرُونَ
disbelieving
بِـ
in
َٔايَٰتِ
signs of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
و
&
َيَقۡتُلُونَ
kill
ٱلن
the
َّبِيِّـۧنَ
prophets
بِ
with
غَيۡرِ
other than
ٱلۡ
the
حَقِّ
right
ذَٰلِكَ
that
بِ
for
مَا
what
عَصَواْ
they disobeyed
و
&
َّكَانُواْ
were
يَعۡتَدُونَ
transgressing
إِنَّ
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
believed
و
&
َٱلَّذِينَ
those who
هَادُواْ
are Jews
و
&
َٱل
the
نَّصَٰرَىٰ
Christians
و
&
َٱل
the
صَّٰبِـِٔينَ
Sabians
مَنۡ
whoever
ءَامَنَ
believed
بِ
in
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡيَوۡمِ
Day
ٱلۡ
the
أٓخِرِ
Last
و
&
َعَمِلَ
did
صَٰلِحٗا
righteous
فَ
so
لَ
for
هُمۡ
them
أَجۡرُ
reward of
هُمۡ
their
عِندَ
with
رَبِّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
هِمۡ
their
و
&
َلَا
not
خَوۡفٌ
fear
عَلَىٰ
on
هِمۡ
them
و
&
َلَا
not
هُمۡ
they
يَحۡزَنُونَ
grieve
و
&
َإِذۡ
when
أَخَذۡ
took
نَا
We
مِيثَٰقَ
covenant of
كُمۡ
your
و
&
َرَفَع
raised
ۡنَا
We
فَوۡقَ
above
كُمُ
you
ٱلط
the
ُّورَ
Mount
خُذُواْ
take
مَآ
what
ءَاتَيۡ
gave
نَ
We
ٰكُم
you
بِ
with
قُوَّة
strength
و
&
َٱذۡكُرُواْ
remember
مَا
what
فِي
in
هِ
it
لَعَلَّ
so that
كُمۡ
you
تَتَّقُونَ
you are mindful
ثُمَّ
then
تَوَلَّيۡتُم
you turned away
مِّنۢ
from
بَعۡدِ
after
ذَٰلِكَ
that
فَ
so
لَوۡلَا
had it not been for
فَضۡلُ
favour of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
عَلَىٰ
on
كُمۡ
you
و
&
َرَحۡمَت
mercy of
ُهُۥ
His
لَكُنتُم
you would surely have been
مِّنَ
from
ٱلۡ
the
خَٰسِرِينَ
losers
و
&
َلَقَدۡ
certainly
عَلِمۡتُمُ
you know
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ٱعۡتَدَوۡاْ
transgressed
مِن
from
كُمۡ
you
فِى
in
ٱلس
the
َّبۡتِ
Sabbath
فَ
so
قُلۡ
said
نَا
We
لَ
to
هُمۡ
them
كُونُواْ
be
قِرَدَةً
apes
خَٰسِـِٔينَ
despised
فَ
so
جَعَلۡ
made
نَ
We
ٰهَا
it
نَكَٰلٗا
a deterrent
لِّ
for
مَا
what
بَيۡنَ
between
يَدَيۡ
hands of
هَا
its
و
&
َمَا
what
خَلۡفَ
behind
هَا
it
و
&
َمَوۡعِظَةٗ
an admonition
لِ
for
ٱلۡ
the
مُتَّقِينَ
mindful of Allah
و
&
َإِذۡ
when
قَالَ
said
مُوسَىٰ
Musa
لِ
to
قَوۡمِ
people
هِۦٓ
his
إِنَّ
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
يَأۡمُرُ
He commands
كُمۡ
you
أَن
that
تَذۡبَحُواْ
you slaughter
بَقَرَةٗ
a cow
قَالُوٓاْ
they said
أَتَتَّخِذ
you take
ُنَا
us
هُزُوٗا
in ridicule
قَالَ
said
أَعُوذُ
I seek refuge
بِ
with
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
أَنۡ
that
أَكُونَ
I be
مِنَ
from
ٱلۡ
the
جَٰهِلِينَ
ignorant
قَالُواْ
they said
ٱدۡعُ
call
لَ
for
نَا
us
رَبَّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
كَ
your
يُبَيِّن
He makes clear
لَّ
for
نَا
us
مَا
what
هِىَ
she is
قَالَ
said
إِنَّ
Indeed
هُۥ
He
يَقُولُ
He says
إِنَّ
indeed
هَا
she
بَقَرَة
a cow
لَّا
not
فَارِض
old
و
&
َلَا
not
بِكۡرٌ
young
عَوَانُ
middle-aged
بَيۡنَ
between
ذَٰلِكَ
that
فَ
so
ٱفۡعَلُواْ
do
مَا
what
تُؤۡمَرُونَ
you are commanded
قَالُواْ
they said
ٱدۡعُ
call
لَ
for
نَا
us
رَبَّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
كَ
your
يُبَيِّن
He makes clear
لَّ
for
نَا
us
مَا
what
لَوۡنُه
colour of
َا
its
قَالَ
said
إِنَّ
Indeed
هُۥ
He
يَقُولُ
He says
إِنَّ
indeed
هَا
she
بَقَرَة
a cow
صَفۡرَآءُ
yellow
فَاقِع
bright
لَّوۡنُه
colour of
َا
its
تَسُرُّ
delights
ٱلن
the
َّٰظِرِينَ
onlookers
قَالُواْ
they said
ٱدۡعُ
call
لَ
for
نَا
us
رَبَّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
كَ
your
يُبَيِّن
He makes clear
لَّ
for
نَا
us
مَا
what
هِىَ
she is
إِنَّ
Indeed
ٱلۡ
the
بَقَرَ
cows
تَشَٰبَهَ
are alike
عَلَىٰ
to
نَا
us
و
&
َإِنَّآ
indeed we
إِن
if
شَآءَ
wills
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
لَ
surely
مُهۡتَدُونَ
guided
قَالَ
said
إِنَّ
Indeed
هُۥ
He
يَقُولُ
He says
إِنَّ
indeed
هَا
she
بَقَرَة
a cow
لَّا
not
ذَلُول
submissive
تُثِيرُ
plows
ٱلۡ
the
أَرۡضَ
earth
و
&
َلَا
not
تَسۡقِى
waters
ٱلۡ
the
حَرۡثَ
tilth
مُسَلَّمَة
sound
لَّا
not
شِيَةَ
blemish
فِي
in
هَا
her
قَالُواْ
they said
ٱلۡـَٰٔنَ
now
جِئۡتَ
you came
بِ
with
ٱلۡ
the
حَقِّ
truth
فَ
so
ذَبَحُو
they slaughtered
هَا
her
و
&
َمَا
not
كَادُواْ
almost
يَفۡعَلُونَ
they do
و
&
َإِذۡ
when
قَتَلۡتُمۡ
you killed
نَفۡسٗا
a soul
فَ
so
ٱدَّٰرَٰءۡتُمۡ
you disputed
فِي
about
هَا
it
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
مُخۡرِج
brings out
مَّا
what
كُنتُمۡ
you were
تَكۡتُمُونَ
concealing
فَ
so
قُلۡ
said
نَا
We
ٱضۡرِبُو
strike
هُ
him
بِ
with
بَعۡضِ
a part of
هَا
her
كَذَٰلِكَ
likewise
يُحۡىِ
He gives life
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
ٱلۡ
the
مَوۡتَىٰ
dead
و
&
َيُرِ
He shows
يكُمۡ
you
ءَايَٰتِ
signs of
هِۦ
His
لَعَلَّ
so that
كُمۡ
you
تَعۡقِلُونَ
you reason
ثُمَّ
then
قَسَتۡ
hardened
قُلُوبُ
hearts of
كُم
your
مِّنۢ
from
بَعۡدِ
after
ذَٰلِكَ
that
فَ
so
هِىَ
they are
كَ
like
ٱلۡ
the
حِجَارَةِ
stones
أَوۡ
or
أَشَدُّ
harder
قَسۡوَةٗ
in hardness
و
&
َإِنَّ
indeed
مِنَ
from
ٱلۡ
the
حِجَارَةِ
stones
لَ
surely
مَا
what
يَتَفَجَّرُ
gushes
مِن
from
ۡهُ
it
ٱلۡ
the
أَنۡهَٰرُ
rivers
و
&
َإِنَّ
indeed
مِن
from
ۡهَا
them
لَ
surely
مَا
what
يَشَّقَّقُ
splits
فَ
so
يَخۡرُجُ
comes out
مِن
from
ۡهُ
it
ٱلۡ
the
مَآءُ
water
و
&
َإِنَّ
indeed
مِن
from
ۡهَا
them
لَ
surely
مَا
what
يَهۡبِطُ
falls down
مِنۡ
from
خَشۡيَةِ
awe of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
و
&
َمَا
not
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
بِغَٰفِلٍ
unaware
عَ
of
مَّا
what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
you do
أَفَ
Do
تَطۡمَعُونَ
you hope
أَن
that
يُؤۡمِنُواْ
they believe
لَ
for
كُمۡ
you
و
&
َقَدۡ
indeed
كَانَ
was
فَرِيق
a group
مِّ
from
نۡهُمۡ
them
يَسۡمَعُونَ
hear
كَلَٰمَ
speech of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
ثُمَّ
then
يُحَرِّفُون
they distort
َهُۥ
it
مِنۢ
from
بَعۡدِ
after
مَا
what
عَقَلُو
they understood
هُ
it
و
&
َهُمۡ
they
يَعۡلَمُونَ
know
و
&
َإِذَا
whenever
لَقُواْ
they meet
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
believed
قَالُوٓاْ
they said
ءَامَنَّا
we believe
و
&
َإِذَا
whenever
خَلَا
are alone
بَعۡضُ
some of
هُمۡ
them
إِلَىٰ
with
بَعۡض
some
قَالُوٓاْ
they said
أَ
Do
تُحَدِّثُون
you tell
َهُم
them
بِ
with
مَا
what
فَتَحَ
revealed
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
عَلَىٰ
to
كُمۡ
you
لِ
so that
يُحَآجُّو
they argue
كُم
you
بِ
with
هِۦ
it
عِندَ
with
رَبِّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
كُمۡ
your
أَفَ
Will
لَا
not
تَعۡقِلُونَ
you reason
أَ
Do
وَلَا
not
يَعۡلَمُونَ
they know
أَنَّ
that
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
He knows
مَا
what
يُسِرُّونَ
they hide
و
&
َمَا
what
يُعۡلِنُونَ
they declare
و
&
َمِ
from
نۡهُمۡ
them
أُمِّيُّونَ
unlettered
لَا
not
يَعۡلَمُونَ
they know
ٱلۡ
the
كِتَٰبَ
Book
إِلَّآ
except
أَمَانِىَّ
mere wishes
و
&
َإِنۡ
not
هُمۡ
they
إِلَّا
except
يَظُنُّونَ
guess
فَ
so
وَيۡل
woe
لِ
for
ٱلَّ
the
ذِينَ
those who
يَكۡتُبُونَ
write
ٱلۡ
the
كِتَٰبَ
Book
بِ
with
أَيۡدِي
hands of
هِمۡ
their
ثُمَّ
then
يَقُولُونَ
say
هَٰذَا
this
مِنۡ
from
عِندِ
near
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
لِ
so that
يَشۡتَرُواْ
they trade
بِ
with
هِۦ
it
ثَمَنٗا
a price
قَلِيلٗا
small
فَ
so
وَيۡل
woe
لَّ
for
هُم
them
مّ
from
ِمَّا
what
كَتَبَتۡ
wrote
أَيۡدِي
hands of
هِمۡ
their
و
&
َوَيۡل
woe
لَّ
for
هُم
them
مّ
from
ِمَّا
what
يَكۡسِبُونَ
they earn
و
&
َقَالُواْ
they said
لَن
never
تَمَسَّ
touch
نَا
us
ٱلن
the
َّارُ
Fire
إِلَّآ
except
أَيَّامٗا
days
مَّعۡدُودَةٗ
numbered
قُلۡ
Say
أَتَّخَذۡتُمۡ
you took
عِندَ
with
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
عَهۡدٗا
a covenant
فَ
so
لَن
never
يُخۡلِفَ
He breaks
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
عَهۡدَ
covenant of
هُۥٓ
His
أَمۡ
or
تَقُولُونَ
you say
عَلَى
about
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
مَا
what
لَا
not
تَعۡلَمُونَ
you know
بَلَىٰ
Yes
مَن
whoever
كَسَبَ
earned
سَيِّئَةٗ
an evil deed
و
&
َأَحَٰطَتۡ
surrounded
بِ
with
هِۦ
him
خَطِيٓـَٔتُ
sin of
هُۥ
his
فَ
so
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
those
أَصۡحَٰبُ
companions of
ٱلن
the
َّارِ
Fire
هُمۡ
they
فِي
in
هَا
it
خَٰلِدُونَ
abiding forever
و
&
َٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
believed
و
&
َعَمِلُواْ
did
ٱلص
the
َّٰلِحَٰتِ
righteous deeds
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
those
أَصۡحَٰبُ
companions of
ٱلۡ
the
جَنَّةِ
Garden
هُمۡ
they
فِي
in
هَا
it
خَٰلِدُونَ
abiding forever
و
&
َإِذۡ
when
أَخَذۡ
took
نَا
We
مِيثَٰقَ
covenant of
بَنِىٓ
children of
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
Israel
لَا
not
تَعۡبُدُونَ
you worship
إِلَّا
except
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
و
&
َب
with
ِٱل
the
ۡوَٰلِدَيۡنِ
two parents
إِحۡسَانٗا
excellence
و
&
َذِى
owner of
ٱلۡ
the
قُرۡبَىٰ
kinship
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡيَتَٰمَىٰ
orphans
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡمَسَٰكِينِ
needy
و
&
َقُولُواْ
say
لِ
to
ٱل
the
نَّاسِ
people
حُسۡنٗا
goodness
و
&
َأَقِيمُواْ
establish
ٱلص
the
َّلَوٰةَ
prayer
و
&
َءَاتُواْ
give
ٱلز
the
َّكَوٰةَ
purifying charity
ثُمَّ
then
تَوَلَّيۡتُمۡ
you turned away
إِلَّا
except
قَلِيلٗا
a few
مِّ
from
نكُمۡ
you
و
&
َأَنتُم
you
مُّعۡرِضُونَ
turning away
و
&
َإِذۡ
when
أَخَذۡ
took
نَا
We
مِيثَٰقَ
covenant of
كُمۡ
your
لَا
not
تَسۡفِكُونَ
you shed
دِمَآءَ
bloods of
كُمۡ
your
و
&
َلَا
not
تُخۡرِجُونَ
you expel
أَنفُسَ
selves of
كُم
your
مِّن
from
دِيَٰرِ
homes of
كُمۡ
your
ثُمَّ
then
أَقۡرَرۡتُمۡ
you acknowledged
و
&
َأَنتُمۡ
you
تَشۡهَدُونَ
you witness
ثُمَّ
then
أَنتُمۡ
you
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
these
تَقۡتُلُونَ
you kill
أَنفُسَ
selves of
كُمۡ
your
و
&
َتُخۡرِجُونَ
you expel
فَرِيقٗا
a group
مِّ
from
نكُم
you
مِّن
from
دِيَٰرِ
homes of
هِمۡ
their
تَظَٰهَرُونَ
you support one another
عَلَىٰ
against
هِم
them
بِ
with
ٱلۡ
the
إِثۡمِ
sin
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡعُدۡوَٰنِ
transgression
و
&
َإِن
if
يَأۡتُو
they come to
كُمۡ
you
أُسَٰرَىٰ
captives
تُفَٰدُو
you ransom
هُمۡ
them
و
&
َهُوَ
it
مُحَرَّمٌ
forbidden
عَلَىٰ
on
كُمۡ
you
إِخۡرَاجُ
expulsion of
هُمۡ
their
أَفَ
Do
تُؤۡمِنُونَ
you believe
بِ
in
بَعۡضِ
a part of
ٱلۡ
the
كِتَٰبِ
Book
و
&
َتَكۡفُرُونَ
you disbelieve
بِ
in
بَعۡضٖ
a part
فَ
so
مَا
what
جَزَآءُ
recompense of
مَن
whoever
يَفۡعَلُ
does
ذَٰلِكَ
that
مِن
from
كُمۡ
you
إِلَّا
except
خِزۡى
disgrace
فِى
in
ٱلۡ
the
حَيَوٰةِ
life
ٱلد
the
ُّنۡيَا
worldly
و
&
َيَوۡمَ
Day of
ٱلۡ
the
قِيَٰمَةِ
Resurrection
يُرَدُّونَ
they are returned
إِلَىٰٓ
to
أَشَدِّ
most severe of
ٱلۡ
the
عَذَابِ
punishment
و
&
َمَا
not
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
بِغَٰفِلٍ
unaware
عَ
of
مَّا
what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
you do
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
those
ٱلَّذِينَ
who
ٱشۡتَرَوُاْ
exchanged
ٱلۡ
the
حَيَوٰةَ
life
ٱلد
the
ُّنۡيَا
worldly
بِ
for
ٱلۡ
the
أٓخِرَةِ
Hereafter
فَ
so
لَا
not
يُخَفَّفُ
is lightened
عَنۡ
from
هُمُ
them
ٱلۡ
the
عَذَابُ
punishment
و
&
َلَا
not
هُمۡ
they
يُنصَرُونَ
helped
و
&
َلَقَدۡ
certainly
ءَاتَيۡ
gave
نَا
We
مُوسَى
Musa
ٱلۡ
the
كِتَٰبَ
Book
و
&
َقَفَّي
followed up
ۡنَا
We
مِنۢ
from
بَعۡد
after
ِهِۦ
him
بِ
with
ٱلر
the
ُّسُلِ
messengers
و
&
َءَاتَي
gave
ۡنَا
We
عِيسَى
Isa
ٱبۡنَ
son of
مَرۡيَمَ
Maryam
ٱلۡ
the
بَيِّنَٰتِ
clear proofs
و
&
َأَيَّد
supported
ۡن
We
َٰهُ
him
بِ
with
رُوحِ
Spirit of
ٱلۡ
the
قُدُسِ
Holy
أَفَ
Is it that
كُلَّمَا
whenever
جَآءَ
came to
كُمۡ
you
رَسُولُ
a messenger
بِ
with
مَا
what
لَا
not
تَهۡوَىٰٓ
desires
أَنفُسُ
selves of
كُمُ
your
ٱسۡتَكۡبَرۡتُمۡ
you were arrogant
فَ
so
فَرِيقٗا
a group
كَذَّبۡتُمۡ
you denied
و
&
َفَرِيقٗا
a group
تَقۡتُلُونَ
you kill
و
&
َقَالُواْ
they said
قُلُوبُ
hearts of
نَا
our
غُلۡفُ
covered
بَل
but
لَّعَنَ
cursed
هُمُ
them
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
بِ
for
كُفۡرِ
disbelief of
هِمۡ
their
فَ
so
قَلِيلٗا
little
مَّا
what
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
they believe
و
&
َلَمَّا
when
جَآءَ
came to
هُمۡ
them
كِتَٰب
a Book
مِّنۡ
from
عِندِ
near
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
مُصَدِّق
confirming
لِّ
for
مَا
what
مَعَ
with
هُمۡ
them
و
&
َكَانُواْ
they were
مِن
from
قَبۡلُ
before
يَسۡتَفۡتِحُونَ
seeking victory
عَلَى
over
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
كَفَرُواْ
disbelieved
فَ
so
لَمَّا
when
جَآءَ
came to
هُم
them
مَّا
what
عَرَفُواْ
they recognized
كَفَرُواْ
they disbelieved
بِ
in
هِۦ
it
فَ
so
لَعۡنَةُ
curse of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
عَلَى
on
ٱلۡ
the
كَٰفِرِينَ
disbelievers
بِئۡسَ
evil is
مَا
what
ٱشۡتَرَوۡاْ
they sold
بِ
with
هِۦٓ
it
أَنفُسَ
selves of
هُمۡ
their
أَن
that
يَكۡفُرُواْ
they disbelieve
بِ
in
مَآ
what
أَنزَلَ
sent down
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
بَغۡيًا
out of envy
أَن
that
يُنَزِّلَ
He sends down
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
مِن
from
فَضۡلِ
favour of
هِۦ
His
عَلَىٰ
on
مَن
whom
يَشَآءُ
He wills
مِنۡ
from
عِبَادِ
servants of
هِۦ
His
فَ
so
بَآءُو
they incurred
بِ
with
غَضَبٍ
anger
عَلَىٰ
on
غَضَب
anger
وَ
&
لِ
for
ٱلۡ
the
كَٰفِرِينَ
disbelievers
عَذَاب
a punishment
مُّهِين
humiliating
و
&
َإِذَا
whenever
قِيلَ
is said
لَ
to
هُمۡ
them
ءَامِنُواْ
believe
بِ
in
مَآ
what
أَنزَلَ
sent down
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
قَالُواْ
they said
نُؤۡمِنُ
we believe
بِ
in
مَآ
what
أُنزِلَ
was sent down
عَلَىٰ
to
نَا
us
و
&
َيَكۡفُرُونَ
they disbelieve
بِ
in
مَا
what
وَرَآءَ
beyond
هُۥ
it
و
&
َهُوَ
it
ٱلۡ
the
حَقُّ
truth
مُصَدِّقٗا
confirming
لِّ
for
مَا
what
مَعَ
with
هُمۡ
them
قُلۡ
Say
فَ
so
لِمَ
why
تَقۡتُلُونَ
you kill
أَنبِيَآءَ
prophets of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
مِن
from
قَبۡلُ
before
إِن
if
كُنتُم
you were
مُّؤۡمِنِينَ
believers
و
&
َلَقَدۡ
certainly
جَآءَ
came to
كُم
you
مُّوسَىٰ
Musa
بِ
with
ٱلۡ
the
بَيِّنَٰتِ
clear proofs
ثُمَّ
then
ٱتَّخَذۡتُمُ
you took
ٱلۡ
the
عِجۡلَ
calf
مِنۢ
from
بَعۡد
after
ِهِۦ
him
و
&
َأَنتُمۡ
you
ظَٰلِمُونَ
wrongdoers
و
&
َإِذۡ
when
أَخَذۡ
took
نَا
We
مِيثَٰقَ
covenant of
كُمۡ
your
و
&
َرَفَع
raised
ۡنَا
We
فَوۡقَ
above
كُمُ
you
ٱلط
the
ُّورَ
Mount
خُذُواْ
take
مَآ
what
ءَاتَيۡ
gave
نَ
We
ٰكُم
you
بِ
with
قُوَّة
strength
و
&
َٱسۡمَعُواْ
listen
قَالُواْ
they said
سَمِعۡنَا
we hear
و
&
َعَصَيۡنَا
we disobey
و
&
َأُشۡرِبُواْ
they were drenched
فِى
in
قُلُوبِ
hearts of
هِمُ
their
ٱلۡ
the
عِجۡلَ
calf
بِ
for
كُفۡرِ
disbelief of
هِمۡ
their
قُلۡ
Say
بِئۡسَ
evil is
مَا
what
يَأۡمُرُ
He commands
كُم
you
بِ
with
هِۦٓ
it
إِيمَٰنُ
faith of
كُمۡ
your
إِن
if
كُنتُم
you were
مُّؤۡمِنِينَ
believers
قُلۡ
Say
إِن
if
كَانَتۡ
is
لَ
for
كُمُ
you
ٱلد
the
َّارُ
Home
ٱلۡ
the
أٓخِرَةُ
Hereafter
عِندَ
with
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
خَالِصَةٗ
exclusively
مِّن
from
دُونِ
excluding
ٱلن
the
َّاسِ
people
فَ
so
تَمَنَّوُاْ
wish for
ٱلۡ
the
مَوۡتَ
death
إِن
if
كُنتُمۡ
you are
صَٰدِقِينَ
truthful
و
&
َلَن
never
يَتَمَنَّوۡ
they wish for
هُ
it
أَبَدَۢ
ever
بِ
for
مَا
what
قَدَّمَتۡ
sent ahead
أَيۡدِي
hands of
هِمۡ
their
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
عَلِيمُ
The All-Knowing of
بِ
with
ٱلظ
the
َّٰلِمِينَ
wrongdoers
و
&
َلَتَجِدَنّ
you will surely find
َهُمۡ
them
أَحۡرَصَ
most eager of
ٱلن
the
َّاسِ
people
عَلَىٰ
for
حَيَوٰة
a life
و
&
َمِنَ
than
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
أَشۡرَكُواْ
associated partners
يَوَدُّ
wishes
أَحَدُ
one of
هُمۡ
them
لَوۡ
that
يُعَمَّرُ
he be given life
أَلۡفَ
a thousand
سَنَة
years
و
&
َمَا
not
هُوَ
it
بِمُزَحۡزِحِ
remover of
هِۦ
him
مِنَ
from
ٱلۡ
the
عَذَابِ
punishment
أَن
that
يُعَمَّرَ
he is given long life
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
بَصِيرُ
The All-Seeing of
بِ
with
مَا
what
يَعۡمَلُونَ
they do
قُلۡ
Say
مَن
whoever
كَانَ
is
عَدُوّٗ
an enemy
لِّ
to
ـجِبۡرِيلَ
Jibril
فَ
so
إِنَّ
indeed
هُۥ
he
نَزَّلَ
sent down
هُۥ
it
عَلَىٰ
upon
قَلۡبِ
heart of
كَ
your
بِ
by
إِذۡنِ
permission of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
مُصَدِّقٗ
confirming
لِّ
to
مَا
what
بَيۡنَ
before
يَدَيۡ
hands of
هِ
its
و
&
َهُدٗ
a guidance
و
&
َبُشۡرَىٰ
good news
لِ
for
ٱلۡ
the
مُؤۡمِنِينَ
believers
مَن
whoever
كَانَ
is
عَدُوّٗ
an enemy
لِ
for
ٱلَّهِ
Allah
و
&
َمَلَٰٓئِكَت
angels of
ِهِۦ
His
و
&
َرُسُل
messengers of
ِهِۦ
His
و
&
َجِبۡرِيلَ
Jibril
و
&
َمِيكَىٰلَ
Mikal
فَ
so
إِنَّ
indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
عَدُوّ
enemy
لِ
for
ٱلۡ
the
كَٰفِرِينَ
disbelievers
و
&
َلَقَدۡ
certainly
أَنزَلۡ
sent down
نَآ
We
إِلَي
to
ۡكَ
you
ءَايَٰتِ
signs
بَيِّنَٰت
clear
و
&
َمَا
not
يَكۡفُرُ
disbelieves
بِ
in
هَآ
them
إِلَّا
except
ٱلۡ
the
فَٰسِقُونَ
defiantly disobedient
أَوَ
or is it that
كُلَّمَا
every time
عَٰهَدُواْ
they made
عَهۡدٗ
a covenant
نَّبَذَ
threw away
هُۥ
it
فَرِيق
a group
مِّنۡهُم
of them
بَلۡ
but
أَكۡثَرُ
most of
هُمۡ
them
لَا
not
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
believe
و
&
َلَمَّا
when
جَآءَ
came to
هُمۡ
them
رَسُول
a messenger
مِّنۡ
from
عِندِ
presence of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
مُصَدِّق
confirming
لِّ
to
مَا
what
مَعَ
with
هُمۡ
them
نَبَذَ
threw away
فَرِيق
a group
مِّنَ
from
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
أُوتُواْ
were given
ٱلۡ
the
كِتَٰبَ
Book
كِتَٰبَ
Book of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
وَرَآءَ
behind
ظُهُورِ
backs of
هِمۡ
their
كَأَنَّ
as if
هُمۡ
they
لَا
not
يَعۡلَمُونَ
know
و
&
َٱتَّبَعُواْ
they followed
مَا
what
تَتۡلُواْ
recite
ٱلش
the
َّيَٰطِينُ
devils
عَلَىٰ
against
مُلۡكِ
kingdom of
سُلَيۡمَٰنَ
Sulayman
و
&
َمَا
not
كَفَرَ
disbelieved
سُلَيۡمَٰنُ
Sulayman
و
&
َلَٰكِنَّ
but
ٱلش
the
َّيَٰطِينَ
devils
كَفَرُواْ
disbelieved
يُعَلِّمُونَ
teaching
ٱلن
the
َّاسَ
people
ٱلس
the
ِّحۡرَ
magic
و
&
َمَآ
what
أُنزِلَ
was sent down
عَلَى
upon
ٱلۡ
the
مَلَكَيۡنِ
two angels
بِ
in
بَابِلَ
Babylon
هَٰرُوتَ
Harut
و
&
َمَٰرُوتَ
Marut
و
&
َمَا
not
يُعَلِّمَانِ
they both teach
مِنۡ
from
أَحَدٍ
anyone
حَتَّىٰ
until
يَقُولَآ
they both say
إِنَّمَا
only
نَحۡنُ
we
فِتۡنَة
a trial
فَ
so
لَا
not
تَكۡفُرۡ
disbelieve
فَ
so
يَتَعَلَّمُونَ
they learn
مِنۡ
from
هُمَا
two of them
مَا
what
يُفَرِّقُونَ
they separate
بِ
with
هِۦ
it
بَيۡنَ
between
ٱلۡ
the
مَرۡءِ
man
و
&
َزَوۡج
wife of
ِهِۦ
his
و
&
َمَا
not
هُم
they
بِضَآرِّينَ
harmers
بِ
with
هِۦ
it
مِنۡ
from
أَحَدٍ
anyone
إِلَّا
except
بِ
by
إِذۡنِ
permission of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
و
&
َيَتَعَلَّمُونَ
they learn
مَا
what
يَضُرُّ
harms
هُمۡ
them
و
&
َلَا
not
يَنفَعُ
benefits
هُمۡ
them
و
&
َلَقَدۡ
certainly
عَلِمُواْ
they knew
لَمَنِ
whoever
ٱشۡتَرَىٰ
bought
هُ
it
مَا
no
لَ
for
هُۥ
him
فِى
in
ٱلۡ
the
أٓخِرَةِ
Hereafter
مِنۡ
any
خَلَٰق
share
و
&
َلَبِئۡسَ
surely evil is
مَا
what
شَرَوۡاْ
they sold
بِ
for
هِۦٓ
it
أَنفُسَ
selves of
هُمۡ
their
لَوۡ
if
كَانُواْ
they had
يَعۡلَمُونَ
known
و
&
َلَوۡ
if
أَنَّ
that
هُمۡ
they
ءَامَنُواْ
believed
و
&
َٱتَّقَوۡاْ
were mindful of Allah
لَمَثُوبَةٞ
surely a reward
مِّنۡ
from
عِندِ
presence of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
خَيۡر
better
لَّوۡ
if
كَانُواْ
they had
يَعۡلَمُونَ
known
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
O
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
believed
لَا
not
تَقُولُواْ
say
رَٰعِ
Ra'ina
نَا
us
و
&
َقُولُواْ
say
ٱنظُرۡ
look upon
نَا
us
و
&
َٱسۡمَعُواْ
listen
و
&
لِ
for
ٱلۡ
the
كَٰفِرِينَ
disbelievers
عَذَابٌ
a punishment
أَلِيم
painful
مَّا
not
يَوَدُّ
wish
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
كَفَرُواْ
disbelieved
مِنۡ
from
أَهۡلِ
people of
ٱلۡ
the
كِتَٰبِ
Book
و
&
َلَا
nor
ٱلۡ
the
مُشۡرِكِينَ
polytheists
أَن
that
يُنَزَّلَ
be sent down
عَلَيۡ
upon
كُم
you
مِّنۡ
from
خَيۡر
good
مِّن
from
رَّبِّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
كُمۡ
your
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
يَخۡتَصُّ
chooses for
بِ
with
رَحۡمَتِ
mercy of
هِۦ
His
مَن
whom
يَشَآءُ
He wills
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
ذُو
Owner of
ٱلۡ
the
فَضۡلِ
Bounty
ٱلۡ
the
عَظِيمِ
Tremendous
مَا
whatever
نَنسَخۡ
We abrogate
مِنۡ
of
ءَايَةٍ
an ayah
أَوۡ
or
نُنسِ
We cause to forget
هَا
it
نَأۡتِ
We bring
بِ
with
خَيۡر
better
مِّنۡهَآ
than it
أَوۡ
or
مِثۡل
like
ِهَآ
it
أَلَمۡ
do not
تَعۡلَمۡ
you know
أَنَّ
that
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
عَلَىٰ
over
كُلِّ
every
شَىۡء
thing
قَدِيرٌ
All-Powerful
أَلَمۡ
do not
تَعۡلَمۡ
you know
أَنَّ
that
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
لَ
to
هُۥ
Him
مُلۡكُ
kingdom of
ٱلس
the
َّمَٰوَٰتِ
heavens
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡأَرۡضِ
earth
و
&
َمَا
not
لَ
for
كُم
you
مِّن
from
دُونِ
besides
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
مِن
any
وَلِىّ
protector
و
&
َلَا
nor
نَصِيرٍ
helper
أَمۡ
or
تُرِيدُونَ
do you wish
أَن
that
تَسۡـَٔلُواْ
you ask
رَسُولَ
messenger of
كُمۡ
your
كَمَا
as
سُئِلَ
was asked
مُوسَىٰ
Musa
مِن
from
قَبۡلُ
before
و
&
َمَن
whoever
يَتَبَدَّلِ
exchanges
ٱلۡ
the
كُفۡرَ
disbelief
بِ
for
ٱلۡ
the
إِيمَٰنِ
faith
فَ
then
قَدۡ
surely
ضَلَّ
has strayed
سَوَآءَ
evenness of
ٱلس
the
َّبِيلِ
path
وَدَّ
wished
كَثِير
many
مِّنۡ
from
أَهۡلِ
people of
ٱلۡ
the
كِتَٰبِ
Book
لَوۡ
if
يَرُدُّونَ
they would turn back
كُم
you
مِّنۢ
from
بَعۡدِ
after
إِيمَٰنِ
faith of
كُمۡ
your
كُفَّارًا
disbelievers
حَسَدٗ
out of envy
مِّنۡ
from
عِندِ
presence of
أَنفُسِ
selves of
هِم
their
مِّنۢ
from
بَعۡدِ
after
مَا
what
تَبَيَّنَ
became clear
لَ
to
هُمُ
them
ٱلۡ
the
حَقُّ
truth
فَ
so
ٱعۡفُواْ
pardon
و
&
َٱصۡفَحُواْ
overlook
حَتَّىٰ
until
يَأۡتِىَ
comes
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
بِ
with
أَمۡرِ
command of
هِۦٓ
His
إِنَّ
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
عَلَىٰ
over
كُلِّ
every
شَىۡء
thing
قَدِير
All-Powerful
و
&
َأَقِيمُواْ
establish
ٱلص
the
َّلَوٰةَ
prayer
و
&
َءَاتُواْ
give
ٱلز
the
َّكَوٰةَ
purifying charity
و
&
َمَا
whatever
تُقَدِّمُواْ
you send ahead
لِ
for
أَنفُسِ
selves of
كُم
your
مِّنۡ
of
خَيۡر
good
تَجِدُو
you will find
هُ
it
عِندَ
with
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
إِنَّ
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
بِ
with
مَا
what

بَصِير
The All-Seeing of
و
&
َقَالُواْ
they said
لَن
never
يَدۡخُلَ
will enter
ٱلۡ
the
جَنَّةَ
Garden
إِلَّا
except
مَن
who
كَانَ
is
هُودًا
Jews
أَوۡ
or
نَصَٰرَىٰ
Christians
تِلۡكَ
those
أَمَانِيُّ
desires of
هُمۡ
their
قُلۡ
Say
هَاتُواْ
bring
بُرۡهَٰنَ
proof of
كُمۡ
your
إِن
if
كُنتُمۡ
you are
صَٰدِقِينَ
truthful
بَلَىٰ
yes indeed
مَنۡ
whoever
أَسۡلَمَ
submitted
وَجۡهَ
face of
هُۥ
his
لِ
to
ٱلَّهِ
Allah
و
&
َهُوَ
he
مُحۡسِن
a doer of good
فَ
so
لَ
for
هُۥٓ
him
أَجۡرُ
reward of
هُۥ
his
عِندَ
with
رَبِّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
هِۦ
his
و
&
َلَا
no
خَوۡفٌ
fear
عَلَيۡ
upon
هِمۡ
them
و
&
َلَا
nor
هُمۡ
they
يَحۡزَنُونَ
will grieve
و
&
َقَالَتِ
said
ٱلۡ
the
يَهُودُ
Jews
لَيۡسَتِ
are not
ٱلن
the
َّصَٰرَىٰ
Christians
عَلَىٰ
upon
شَىۡء
anything
و
&
َقَالَتِ
said
ٱلن
the
َّصَٰرَىٰ
Christians
لَيۡسَتِ
are not
ٱلۡ
the
يَهُودُ
Jews
عَلَىٰ
upon
شَىۡء
anything
و
&
َهُمۡ
they
يَتۡلُونَ
recite
ٱلۡ
the
كِتَٰبَ
Book
كَذَٰلِكَ
likewise
قَالَ
said
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
لَا
not
يَعۡلَمُونَ
know
مِثۡلَ
like
قَوۡلِ
saying of
هِمۡ
their
فَ
so
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
يَحۡكُمُ
will judge
بَيۡن
between
َهُمۡ
them
يَوۡمَ
Day of
ٱلۡ
the
قِيَٰمَةِ
Resurrection
فِي
about
مَا
what
كَانُواْ
they were
فِي
in
هِ
it
يَخۡتَلِفُونَ
differing
و
&
َمَنۡ
who
أَظۡلَمُ
is more unjust
مِمَّن
than who
مَّنَعَ
prevents
مَسَٰجِدَ
mosques of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
أَن
that
يُذۡكَرَ
is mentioned
فِي
in
هَا
them
ٱسۡمُ
name of
هُۥ
His
و
&
َسَعَىٰ
strived
فِى
in
خَرَابِ
ruin of
هَآ
their
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
those
مَا
not
كَانَ
was
لَ
for
هُمۡ
them
أَن
that
يَدۡخُلُو
they enter
هَآ
them
إِلَّا
except
خَآئِفِينَ
fearful
لَ
for
هُمۡ
them
فِى
in
ٱل
the
دُّنۡيَا
world
خِزۡى
disgrace
و
&
َل
for
َهُمۡ
them
فِى
in
ٱلۡ
the
أٓخِرَةِ
Hereafter
عَذَابٌ
a punishment
عَظِيم
great
وَ
&
لِ
to
ٱلَّهِ
Allah
ٱلۡ
the
مَشۡرِقُ
east
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡمَغۡرِبُ
west
فَ
so
أَيۡنَمَا
wherever
تُوَلُّواْ
you turn
فَ
then
ثَمَّ
there
وَجۡهُ
Face of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
إِنَّ
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
وَٰسِعٌ
The All-Encompassing
عَلِيم
The All-Knowing
و
&
َقَالُواْ
they said
ٱتَّخَذَ
took
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
وَلَدٗا
a son
سُبۡحَٰنَ
Glory be to
هُۥ
Him
بَل
but
لَّ
to
هُۥ
Him
مَا
whatever
فِى
in
ٱلس
the
َّمَٰوَٰتِ
heavens
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡأَرۡضِ
earth
كُلّ
all
لَّ
to
هُۥ
Him
قَٰنِتُونَ
devoutly obedient
بَدِيعُ
The Unprecedented Originator of
ٱلس
the
َّمَٰوَٰتِ
heavens
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡأَرۡضِ
earth
و
&
َإِذَا
when
قَضَىٰٓ
He decrees
أَمۡرٗ
a matter
فَ
then
إِنَّمَا
only
يَقُولُ
He says
لَ
to
هُۥ
it
كُن
Be
فَ
so
يَكُونُ
it is
و
&
َقَالَ
said
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
لَا
not
يَعۡلَمُونَ
know
لَوۡلَا
why does not
يُكَلِّمُ
speaks to
نَا
us
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
أَوۡ
or
تَأۡتِي
comes to
نَآ
us
ءَايَة
a sign
كَذَٰلِكَ
likewise
قَالَ
said
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
مِن
from
قَبۡلِ
before
هِم
them
مِّثۡلَ
like
قَوۡلِ
saying of
هِمۡ
their
تَشَٰبَهَتۡ
resemble
قُلُوبُ
hearts of
هُمۡ
their
قَدۡ
surely
بَيَّنَّا
We made clear
ٱلۡ
the
أٓيَٰتِ
signs
لِ
for
قَوۡم
a people
يُوقِنُونَ
are certain
إِنَّآ
Indeed We
أَرۡسَلۡ
sent
نَٰ
We
كَ
you
بِ
with
ٱلۡ
the
حَقِّ
truth
بَشِيرٗ
a bearer of good news
و
&
َنَذِيرٗا
a warner
و
&
َلَا
not
تُسۡـَٔلُ
you will be asked
عَنۡ
about
أَصۡحَٰبِ
companions of
ٱلۡ
the
جَحِيمِ
Blaze
و
&
َلَن
never
تَرۡضَىٰ
will be pleased
عَنك
with
َ
you
ٱلۡ
the
يَهُودُ
Jews
و
&
َلَا
nor
ٱلن
the
َّصَٰرَىٰ
Christians
حَتَّىٰ
until
تَتَّبِعَ
you follow
مِلَّتَ
creed of
هُمۡ
their
قُلۡ
Say
إِنَّ
Indeed
هُدَى
guidance of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
هُوَ
it
ٱلۡ
the
هُدَىٰ
guidance
و
&
َلَئِنِ
surely if
ٱتَّبَعۡتَ
you follow
أَهۡوَآء
desires of
َهُم
their
بَعۡدَ
after
ٱلَّذِى
what
جَآءَ
came to
كَ
you
مِنَ
of
ٱلۡ
the
عِلۡمِ
knowledge
مَا
no
لَ
for
كَ
you
مِنَ
from
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
مِن
any
وَلِىّ
protector
و
&
َلَا
nor
نَصِيرٍ
helper
ٱلَّذِينَ
those whom
ءَاتَيۡ
gave
نَٰ
We
هُمُ
them
ٱلۡ
the
كِتَٰبَ
Book
يَتۡلُونَ
recite
هُۥ
it
حَقَّ
due of
تِلَاوَتِ
recitation of
هِۦٓ
its
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
those
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
believe
بِ
in
هِۦ
it
و
&
َمَن
whoever
يَكۡفُرۡ
disbelieves
بِ
in
هِۦ
it
فَ
then
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
those
هُمُ
they
ٱلۡ
the
خَٰسِرُونَ
losers
يَ
O
ٰبَنِىٓ
children of
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
Israel
ٱذۡكُرُواْ
remember
نِعۡمَتِ
favor of
ىَ
My
ٱلَّتِىٓ
that
أَنۡعَمۡتُ
I bestowed
عَلَيۡ
upon
كُمۡ
you
و
&
َأَنِّى
that I
فَضَّلۡتُ
I favored
كُمۡ
you
عَلَى
over
ٱلۡ
the
عَٰلَمِينَ
worlds
و
&
َٱتَّقُواْ
be mindful of Allah
يَوۡمٗ
a Day
لَّا
not
تَجۡزِى
will avail
نَفۡسٌ
a soul
عَن
for
نَّفۡس
a soul
شَيۡـٔٗا
anything
و
&
َلَا
not
يُقۡبَلُ
will be accepted
مِنۡ
from
هَا
it
عَدۡل
compensation
و
&
َلَا
not
تَنفَعُ
will benefit
هَا
it
شَفَٰعَة
intercession
و
&
َلَا
nor
هُمۡ
they
يُنصَرُونَ
will be helped
و
&
َإِذِ
when
ٱبۡتَلَىٰٓ
tested
إِبۡرَٰهِـمَ
Ibrahim
رَبُّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
هُۥ
his
بِ
with
كَلِمَٰت
words
فَ
so
أَتَمَّ
he fulfilled
هُنَّ
them
قَالَ
He said
إِنِّى
Indeed I
جَاعِلُ
am making
كَ
you
لِ
for
ٱل
the
نَّاسِ
people
إِمَامٗا
a leader
قَالَ
he said
و
&
َمِن
from
ذُرِّيَّتِ
offspring of
ى
my
قَالَ
He said
لَا
not
يَنَالُ
reaches
عَهۡدِ
covenant of
ى
My
ٱلظ
the
َّٰلِمِينَ
wrongdoers
و
&
َإِذۡ
when
جَعَلۡ
made
نَا
We
ٱلۡ
the
بَيۡتَ
House
مَثَابَة
a place of return
لِ
for
ٱل
the
نَّاسِ
people
و
&
َأَمۡنٗا
a safety
و
&
َٱتَّخِذُواْ
take
مِن
from
مَّقَامِ
station of
إِبۡرَٰهِـمَ
Ibrahim
مُصَلّٗى
a prayer place
و
&
َعَهِد
commanded
ۡنَآ
We
إِلَىٰٓ
to
إِبۡرَٰهِـمَ
Ibrahim
و
&
َإِسۡمَٰعِيلَ
Ismail
أَن
that
طَهِّرَا
purify
بَيۡتِ
House of
ىَ
My
لِ
for
ٱلط
the
َّآئِفِينَ
those who circle
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡعَٰكِفِينَ
those who stay for worship
و
&
َٱ
the
لرُّكَّعِ
those who bow
ٱل
the
سُّجُودِ
those who prostrate
و
&
َإِذۡ
when
قَالَ
said
إِبۡرَٰهِـمُ
Ibrahim
رَبِّ
my Nurturing Sustaining Owner
ٱجۡعَلۡ
make
هَٰذَا
this
بَلَدًا
a town
ءَامِنٗا
safe
و
&
َٱرۡزُقۡ
provide
أَهۡلَ
people of
هُۥ
its
مِنَ
from
ٱلث
the
َّمَرَٰتِ
fruits
مَنۡ
who
ءَامَنَ
believed
مِنۡهُم
of them
بِ
in
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡيَوۡمِ
day
ٱلۡ
the
أٓخِرِ
Last
قَالَ
He said
و
&
َمَن
who
كَفَرَ
disbelieved
فَ
so
أُمَتِّعُ
I let enjoy
هُۥ
him
قَلِيلٗا
a little
ثُمَّ
then
أَضۡطَرُّ
I drive
هُۥٓ
him
إِلَىٰ
to
عَ
the
ذَابِ
punishment of
ٱل
the
نَّارِ
Fire
و
&
َبِئۡسَ
wretched is
ٱلۡ
the
مَصِيرُ
destination
و
&
َإِذۡ
when
يَرۡفَعُ
raised
إِبۡرَٰهِـمُ
Ibrahim
ٱلۡ
the
قَوَاعِدَ
foundations
مِنَ
from
ٱلۡ
the
بَيۡتِ
House
و
&
َإِسۡمَٰعِيلُ
Ismail
رَبَّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
نَا
our
تَقَبَّلۡ
accept
مِنَّآ
from us
إِنَّكَ
Indeed You
أَنتَ
You
ٱلسَّمِيعُ
The All-Hearing
ٱلۡعَلِيمُ
The All-Knowing
رَبَّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
نَا
our
و
&
َٱجۡعَل
make
ۡنَا
us
مُسۡلِمَيۡنِ
two who submit
لَ
to
كَ
You
و
&
َمِن
from
ذُرِّيَّتِ
offspring of
نَآ
our
أُمَّة
a nation
مُّسۡلِمَة
who submit
لَّكَ
to You
و
&
َأَر
show
ِنَا
us
مَنَاسِكَ
rites of
نَا
our
و
&
َتُبۡ
turn in forgiveness
عَلَيۡ
on
نَآ
us
إِنَّكَ
Indeed You
أَنتَ
You
ٱلتَّوَّابُ
The Accepter of Repentance
ٱلرَّحِيمُ
The Consistently Merciful
رَبَّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
نَا
our
و
&
َٱبۡعَثۡ
raise
فِيهِمۡ
among them
رَسُولٗا
a messenger
مِّنۡهُمۡ
from them
يَتۡلُواْ
recites
عَلَيۡ
on
هِمۡ
them
ءَايَٰتِ
signs of
كَ
Your
و
&
َيُعَلِّم
teaches
ُهُمُ
them
ٱلۡ
the
كِتَٰبَ
Book
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡحِكۡمَةَ
wisdom
و
&
َيُزَكِّ
purifies
يهِمۡ
them
إِنَّكَ
Indeed You
أَنتَ
You
ٱلۡعَزِيزُ
The Honoured Unmatchable Invincible
ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
The Perfectly Wise
و
&
َمَن
who
يَرۡغَبُ
turns away
عَن
from
مِّلَّةِ
creed of
إِبۡرَٰهِـمَ
Ibrahim
إِلَّا
except
مَن
who
سَفِهَ
fools
نَفۡسَ
self of
هُۥ
his
و
&
َلَقَدِ
certainly
ٱصۡطَفَيۡ
chose
نَٰ
We
هُ
him
فِى
in
ٱل
the
دُّنۡيَا
world
و
&
َإِنّ
indeed
َهُۥ
he
فِى
in
ٱلۡ
the
أٓخِرَةِ
Hereafter
لَمِنَ
surely among
ٱلص
the
َّٰلِحِينَ
righteous
إِذۡ
when
قَالَ
said
لَهُۥ
to him
رَبُّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
هُۥٓ
his
أَسۡلِمۡ
submit
قَالَ
he said
أَسۡلَمۡتُ
I have submitted
لِ
to
رَبِّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
ٱلۡ
the
عَٰلَمِينَ
worlds
و
&
َوَصَّىٰ
enjoined
بِ
with
هَآ
it
إِبۡرَٰهِـمُ
Ibrahim
بَنِي
sons of
هِ
his
و
&
َيَعۡقُوبُ
Yaqub
يَ
O
ٰبَنِىَّ
my sons
إِنَّ
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
ٱصۡطَفَىٰ
has chosen
لَكُمُ
for you
ٱلد
the
ِّينَ
way
فَ
so
لَا
not
تَمُوتُنَّ
die
إِلَّا
except
و
&
َأَنتُم
you
مُّسۡلِمُونَ
who submit
أَمۡ
or
كُنتُمۡ
you were
شُهَدَآءَ
witnesses
إِذۡ
when
حَضَرَ
came
يَعۡقُوبَ
Yaqub
ٱلۡ
the
مَوۡتُ
death
إِذۡ
when
قَالَ
he said
لِ
to
بَنِي
sons of
هِ
his
مَا
what
تَعۡبُدُونَ
you worship
مِنۢ
from
بَعۡدِ
after
ىۖ
me
قَالُواْ
they said
نَعۡبُدُ
we worship
إِلَٰهَ
deity
كَ
your
و
&
َإِلَٰهَ
deity
ءَابَآئِ
fathers of
كَ
your
إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمَ
Ibrahim
و
&
َإِسۡمَٰعِيلَ
Ismail
و
&
َإِسۡحَٰقَ
Ishaq
إِلَٰهٗا
deity
وَٰحِدٗا
one
و
&
َنَحۡنُ
we
لَ
to
هُۥ
Him
مُسۡلِمُونَ
who submit
تِلۡكَ
that
أُمَّة
a nation
قَدۡ
has
خَلَتۡۖ
passed
لَهَا
for it
مَا
what
كَسَبَتۡ
it earned
و
&
َلَكُم
for you
مَّا
what
كَسَبۡتُمۡۖ
you earned
و
&
َلَا
not
تُسۡـَٔلُونَ
you will be asked
عَ
about
مَّا
what
كَانُواْ
they used to
يَعۡمَلُونَ
do
و
&
َقَالُواْ
they said
كُونُواْ
be
هُودًا
Jews
أَوۡ
or
نَصَٰرَىٰ
Christians
تَهۡتَدُواْۗ
you will be guided
قُلۡ
Say
بَلۡ
but
مِلَّةَ
way of
إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمَ
Ibrahim
حَنِيفٗاۖ
upright
و
&
َمَا
not
كَانَ
he was
مِنَ
of
ٱلۡ
the
مُشۡرِكِينَ
who set up partners
قُولُوٓاْ
Say
ءَامَنَّا
we believe
بِ
in
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
و
&
َمَآ
what
أُنزِلَ
was sent down
إِلَيۡ
to
نَا
us
و
&
َمَآ
what
أُنزِلَ
was sent down
إِلَىٰٓ
to
إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمَ
Ibrahim
و
&
َإِسۡمَٰعِيلَ
Ismail
و
&
َإِسۡحَٰقَ
Ishaq
و
&
َيَعۡقُوبَ
Yaqub
و
&
َٱلۡ
the
أَسۡبَاطِ
tribes
و
&
َمَآ
what
أُوتِىَ
was given
مُوسَىٰ
Musa
و
&
َعِيسَىٰ
Isa
و
&
َمَآ
what
أُوتِىَ
was given
ٱل
the
نَّبِيُّونَ
prophets
مِن
from
رَّبِّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
هِمۡ
their
لَا
not
نُفَرِّقُ
we separate
بَيۡنَ
between
أَحَدٖ
anyone
مِّنۡ
of
هُمۡ
them
و
&
َنَحۡنُ
we
لَ
to
هُۥ
Him
مُسۡلِمُونَ
who submit
فَ
so
إِنۡ
if
ءَامَنُواْ
believed
بِ
in
مِثۡلِ
like of
مَآ
what
ءَامَنتُم
you believed
بِ
in
هِۦ
it
فَ
then
قَدِ
surely
ٱهۡتَدَواْۖ
they are guided
و
&
َّإِن
if
تَوَلَّوۡاْ
they turn away
فَ
then
إِنَّمَا
only
هُمۡ
they
فِى
in
شِقَاقٖۖ
opposition
فَ
so
سَيَكۡفِيكَ
will be enough for you
هُمُ
them
ٱللَّهُۚ
Allah
و
&
َهُوَ
He
ٱلسَّمِيعُ
The All-Hearing
ٱلۡعَلِيمُ
The All-Knowing
صِبۡغَةَ
colour of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
و
&
َمَنۡ
who
أَحۡسَنُ
better
مِنَ
than
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
صِبۡغَةٗۖ
colour
و
&
َنَحۡنُ
we
لَ
to
هُۥ
Him
عَٰبِدُونَ
worshippers
قُلۡ
Say
أَ
Do
تُحَآجُّونَ
you argue
نَا
us
فِى
about
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
و
&
َهُوَ
He
رَبُّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
نَا
our
و
&
َرَبُّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
كُمۡ
your
و
&
َلَنَآ
for us
أَعۡمَٰلُ
deeds of
نَا
our
و
&
َلَكُمۡ
for you
أَعۡمَٰلُ
deeds of
كُمۡ
your
و
&
َنَحۡنُ
we
لَ
to
هُۥ
Him
مُخۡلِصُونَ
sincere
أَمۡ
or
تَقُولُونَ
you say
إِنَّ
that
إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمَ
Ibrahim
و
&
َإِسۡمَٰعِيلَ
Ismail
و
&
َإِسۡحَٰقَ
Ishaq
و
&
َيَعۡقُوبَ
Yaqub
و
&
َٱلۡ
the
أَسۡبَاطَ
tribes
كَانُواْ
were
هُودًا
Jews
أَوۡ
or
نَصَٰرَىٰۗ
Christians
قُلۡ
Say
ءَ
Do
أَنتُمۡ
you
أَعۡلَمُ
more knowing
أَمِ
or
ٱللَّهُۗ
Allah
و
&
َمَنۡ
who
أَظۡلَمُ
is more unjust
مِمَّن
than one who
كَتَمَ
hides
شَهَٰدَةً
a testimony
عِندَ
with
هُۥ
him
مِنَ
from
ٱللَّهِۗ
Allah
و
&
َمَا
not
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
بِغَٰفِلٍ
unaware
عَ
about
مَّا
what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
you do
تِلۡكَ
that
أُمَّة
a nation
قَدۡ
has
خَلَتۡۖ
passed
لَهَا
for it
مَا
what
كَسَبَتۡ
it earned
و
&
َلَكُم
for you
مَّا
what
كَسَبۡتُمۡۖ
you earned
و
&
َلَا
not
تُسۡـَٔلُونَ
you will be asked
عَ
about
مَّا
what
كَانُواْ
they used to
يَعۡمَلُونَ
do
سَيَقُولُ
will say
ٱل
the
سُّفَهَآءُ
foolish
مِنَ
among
ٱل
the
نَّاسِ
people
مَا
what
وَلَّى
turned away
ٰهُمۡ
them
عَن
from
قِبۡلَت
direction of
ِهِمُ
their
ٱلَّتِى
which
كَانُواْ
they used to
عَلَىٰ
on
هَاۚ
it
قُل
Say
لّ
to
ٱِِلَّهِ
Allah
ٱلۡ
the
مَشۡرِقُ
east
و
&
َٱلۡ
the
مَغۡرِبُۚ
west
يَهۡدِى
He guides
مَن
whom
يَشَآءُ
He wills
إِلَىٰ
to
صِرَٰطٖ
a path
مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ
straight
و
&
َكَذَٰلِكَ
likewise
جَعَلۡ
made
نَٰ
We
كُمۡ
you
أُمَّة
a nation
وَسَطٗا
middle
لّ
so that
ِتَكُونُواْ
you may be
شُهَدَآءَ
witnesses
عَلَى
over
ٱل
the
نَّاسِ
people
و
&
َيَكُونَ
may be
ٱل
the
رَّسُولُ
messenger
عَلَىٰ
over
كُمۡ
you
شَهِيدٗاۗ
a witness
و
&
َمَا
not
جَعَلۡ
made
نَا
We
ٱلۡ
the
قِبۡلَةَ
direction
ٱلَّتِى
which
كُنتَ
you were
عَلَىٰ
on
هَآ
it
إِلَّا
except
لِ
to
نَعۡلَمَ
We know
مَن
who
يَتَّبِعُ
follows
ٱل
the
رَّسُولَ
messenger
مِمَّن
from who
يَنقَلِبُ
turns back
عَلَىٰ
on
عَقِبَيۡ
heels of
هِۚ
his
و
&
َإِن
indeed
كَانَتۡ
it was
لَ
surely
كَبِيرَةً
a great thing
إِلَّا
except
عَلَى
on
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
هَدَى
guided
ٱللَّهُۗ
Allah
و
&
َمَا
not
كَانَ
was
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
لِ
to
يُضِيعَ
waste
إِيمَٰن
faith of
َكُمۡۚ
your
إِنَّ
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
بِ
to
ٱل
the
نَّاسِ
people
لَ
surely
رَءُوفٞ
Kind
رَّحِيمٞ
Merciful
قَدۡ
already
نَرَىٰ
We see
تَقَلُّبَ
turning about
وَجۡه
face of
ِكَ
your
فِى
in
ٱلسّ
the
َمَآءِ
sky
فَ
so
لَنُوَلِّيَن
We will surely turn
َّكَ
you
قِبۡلَةٗ
a direction
تَرۡضَىٰ
pleases you
هَا
it
فَ
so
وَلِّ
turn
وَجۡه
face of
َكَ
your
شَطۡرَ
toward
ٱلۡ
the
مَسۡجِدِ
Mosque
ٱلۡ
the
حَرَامِ
Sacred
وَ
&
حَيۡثُ
where
مَا
ever
كُنتُمۡ
you are
فَ
so
وَلُّواْ
turn
وُجُوهَ
faces of
كُمۡ
your
شَطۡر
toward
َهُۥ
it
وَ
&
إِنَّ
indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
أُوتُواْ
were given
ٱلۡ
the
كِتَٰبَ
Book
لَ
surely
يَعۡلَمُونَ
they know
أَنّ
that
َهُ
it
ٱلۡ
the
حَقُّ
truth
مِن
from
رَّبِّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
هِمۡۗ
their
و
&
َمَا
not
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
بِغَٰفِلٍ
unaware
ع
about
َمَّا
what
يَعۡمَلُونَ
they do
و
&
َلَئِنۡ
surely if
أَتَيۡتَ
you bring
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
أُوتُواْ
were given
ٱلۡ
the
كِتَٰبَ
Book
بِ
with
كُلِّ
every
ءَايَةٖ
a sign
مَّا
whatever
تَبِعُواْ
they follow
قِبۡلَتَ
direction of
كَ
your
و
&
َمَآ
not
أَنتَ
you
بِتَابِعٖ
a follower
قِبۡلَتَ
direction of
هُمۡ
their
و
&
َمَا
not
بَعۡضُ
some of
هُم
them
بِتَابِعٖ
a follower
قِبۡلَةَ
direction of
بَعۡضٖۚ
others
و
&
َلَئِنِ
surely if
ٱتَّبَعۡتَ
you followed
أَهۡوَآء
desires of
َهُم
their
مِّنۢ
from
بَعۡدِ
after
مَا
what
جَآءَ
came to
كَ
you
مِنَ
from
ٱلۡ
the
عِلۡمِ
knowledge
إِنّ
indeed
َكَ
you
إِذٗا
then
لَّ
surely
مِنَ
among
ٱلظ
the
َّٰلِمِينَ
wrongdoers
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ءَاتَي
gave
ۡنَ
We
ٰهُمُ
them
ٱلۡ
the
كِتَٰبَ
Book
يَعۡرِفُونَ
they know
هُۥ
him
كَمَا
as
يَعۡرِفُونَ
they know
أَبۡنَآءَ
sons of
هُمۡۖ
their
وَ
&
إِنَّ
indeed
فَرِيقٗا
a group
مِّنۡ
of
هُمۡ
them
لَ
surely
يَكۡتُمُونَ
they hide
ٱلۡ
the
حَقَّ
truth
وَ
while
هُمۡ
they
يَعۡلَمُونَ
know
ٱلۡ
the
حَقُّ
truth
مِن
from
رَّبِّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
كَ
your
فَ
so
لَا
not
تَكُونَنَّ
be
مِنَ
among
ٱلۡ
the
مُمۡتَرِينَ
doubters
وَ
&
لِ
for
كُلّٖ
every
وِجۡهَةٌ
a direction
هُوَ
it
مُوَلِّي
turns to
هَا
it
فَ
so
ٱسۡتَبِقُواْ
race
ٱلۡ
the
خَيۡرَٰتِۚ
good deeds
أَيۡنَ
where
مَا
ever
تَكُونُواْ
you are
يَأۡتِ
will bring
بِكُمُ
you
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
جَمِيعًاۚ
all
إِنَّ
Truly
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
عَلَىٰ
over
كُلِّ
every
شَىۡءٖ
thing
قَدِيرٞ
All-Powerful
وَ
&
مِنۡ
from
حَيۡثُ
wherever
خَرَجۡتَ
you set out
فَ
so
وَلِّ
turn
وَجۡه
face of
َكَ
your
شَطۡرَ
toward
ٱلۡ
the
مَسۡجِدِ
Mosque
ٱلۡ
the
حَرَامِ
Sacred
وَ
&
إِنّ
indeed
َهُۥ
it
لَ
surely
لۡ
the
حَقُّ
truth
مِن
from
رَّبِّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
كَۗ
your
و
&
َمَا
not
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
بِغَٰفِلٍ
unaware
ع
about
َمَّا
what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
you do
وَ
&
مِنۡ
from
حَيۡثُ
wherever
خَرَجۡتَ
you set out
فَ
so
وَلِّ
turn
وَجۡه
face of
َكَ
your
شَطۡرَ
toward
ٱلۡ
the
مَسۡجِدِ
Mosque
ٱلۡ
the
حَرَامِ
Sacred
وَ
&
حَيۡثُ
where
مَا
ever
كُنتُمۡ
you are
فَ
so
وَلُّواْ
turn
وُجُوهَ
faces of
كُمۡ
your
شَطۡر
toward
َهُۥ
it
لِ
so that
ئَلَّا
not
يَكُونَ
be
لِ
for
لن
the
َّاسِ
people
عَلَىٰ
against
كُمۡ
you
حُجَّةٌ
an argument
إِلَّا
except
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ظَلَمُواْ
wronged
مِنۡ
of
هُمۡ
them
فَ
so
لَا
not
تَخۡشَوۡ
fear
هُمۡ
them
وَ
&
ٱخۡشَوۡ
fear
نِى
Me
وَ
&
لِ
so that
أُتِمَّ
I complete
نِعۡمَتِ
favour of
ى
My
عَلَىٰ
on
كُمۡ
you
وَ
&
لَعَلّ
so that
َكُمۡ
you
تَهۡتَدُونَ
you may be guided
كَمَآ
as
أَرۡسَلۡ
sent
نَا
We
فِيكُمۡ
among you
رَسُولٗا
a messenger
مِّن
from
كُمۡ
you
يَتۡلُواْ
recites
عَلَىٰ
to
كُمۡ
you
ءَايَٰت
signs of
ِنَا
Our
وَ
&
يُزَكِّي
purifies
كُمۡ
you
وَ
&
يُعَلِّمُ
teaches
كُمُ
you
ٱلۡ
the
كِتَٰبَ
Book
وَ
&
ٱلۡ
the
حِكۡمَةَ
wisdom
وَ
&
يُعَلِّمُ
teaches
كُم
you
مَّا
what
لَمۡ
not
تَكُونُواْ
you were
تَعۡلَمُونَ
you know
فَ
so
ٱذۡكُرُو
remember
نِىٓ
Me
أَذۡكُرۡ
I remember
كُمۡ
you
وَ
&
ٱشۡكُرُواْ
be thankful
لِى
to Me
وَ
&
لَا
not
تَكۡفُرُو
deny
نِ
Me
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
O
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
believed
ٱسۡتَعِينُواْ
seek help
بِ
with
ٱل
the
صَّبۡرِ
patience
و
&
َٱ
the
لصَّلَوٰةِۚ
prayer
إِنَّ
Truly
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
مَعَ
with
ٱلص
the
َّٰبِرِينَ
patient
وَ
&
لَا
not
تَقُولُواْ
say
لِ
about
مَن
who
يُقۡتَلُ
is killed
فِى
in
سَبِيلِ
way of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
أَمۡوَٰتُۢ
dead
بَلۡ
No
أَحۡيَآءٞ
alive
و
&
َلَٰكِن
but
لَّا
not
تَشۡعُرُونَ
you sense
وَ
&
لَنَبۡلُوَنّ
We will surely test
َكُم
you
بِ
with
شَىۡءٖ
some
مِّنَ
of
ٱلۡ
the
خَوۡفِ
fear
و
&
َٱ
the
لۡجُوعِ
hunger
وَ
&
نَقۡصٖ
loss
مِّنَ
of
ٱلۡ
the
أَمۡوَٰلِ
wealth
و
&
َٱ
the
لۡأَنفُسِ
selves
و
&
َٱ
the
لثَّمَرَٰتِ
fruits
وَ
&
بَشِّرِ
give good news
ٱلص
the
َّٰبِرِينَ
patient
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
إِذَآ
when
أَصَٰبَتۡه
befalls
ُم
them
مُّصِيبَةٞ
a hardship
قَالُوٓاْ
they say
إِنَّا
indeed we
لِ
to
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
وَ
&
إِنَّآ
indeed we
إِلَىٰ
to
هِ
Him
رَٰجِعُونَ
ones who return
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
Those
عَلَىٰ
on
هِمۡ
them
صَلَوَٰتٞ
blessings
مِّن
from
رَّبِّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
هِمۡ
their
وَ
&
رَحۡمَةٞ
mercy
و
&
َأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
those
هُمُ
they
ٱلۡ
the
مُهۡتَدُونَ
guided
إِنَّ
Truly
ٱلص
the
َّفَا
Safa
و
&
َٱ
the
لۡمَرۡوَةَ
Marwah
مِن
among
شَعَآئِرِ
signs of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
فَ
so
مَنۡ
whoever
حَجَّ
performs Hajj
ٱلۡ
the
بَيۡتَ
House
أَوِ
or
ٱعۡتَمَرَ
performs Umrah
فَ
so
لَا
no
جُنَاحَ
blame
عَلَىٰ
on
هِ
him
أَن
to
يَطَّوَّفَ
walk around
بِ
with
هِمَا
both
وَ
&
مَن
whoever
تَطَوَّعَ
volunteers
خَيۡرٗا
good
فَ
so
إِنَّ
truly
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
شَاكِرٌ
The Most Appreciative
عَلِيمٌ
The All-Knowing
إِنَّ
Truly
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
يَكۡتُمُونَ
hide
مَآ
what
أَنزَلۡن
sent down
َا
We
مِنَ
of
ٱلۡ
the
بَيِّنَٰتِ
clear proofs
و
&
َٱ
the
لۡهُدَىٰ
guidance
مِنۢ
from
بَعۡدِ
after
مَا
what
بَيَّنَّٰ
We made clear
هُ
it
لِ
to
لن
the
َّاسِ
people
فِى
in
ٱلۡ
the
كِتَٰبِ
Book
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
those
يَلۡعَنُ
curses
هُمُ
them
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
وَ
&
يَلۡعَنُ
curse
هُمُ
them
ٱلل
the
َّٰعِنُونَ
who curse
إِلَّا
except
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
تَابُواْ
repent
وَ
&
أَصۡلَحُواْ
make things right
وَ
&
بَيَّنُواْ
make clear
فَ
so
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
those
أَتُوبُ
I accept repentance
عَلَىٰ
to
هِمۡ
them
وَ
&
أَنَا
I
ٱلتَّوَّابُ
The Accepter of Repentance
ٱلرَّحِيمُ
The Consistently Merciful
إِنَّ
Truly
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
كَفَرُواْ
disbelieved
وَ
&
مَاتُواْ
died
وَ
while
هُمۡ
they
كُفَّارٌ
deniers
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
those
عَلَىٰ
on
هِمۡ
them
لَعۡنَةُ
curse of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
و
&
َٱ
the
لۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ
angels
و
&
َٱ
the
لنَّاسِ
people
أَجۡمَعِينَ
all
خَٰلِدِينَ
abiding forever
فِي
in
هَا
it
لَا
not
يُخَفَّفُ
is lightened
عَنۡ
from
هُمُ
them
ٱلۡ
the
عَذَابُ
punishment
وَ
&
لَا
not
هُمۡ
they
يُنظَرُونَ
are given time
و
&
َإِلَٰهُ
deity of
كُمۡ
your
إِلَٰهٞ
deity
وَٰحِدٞ
one
لَّآ
no
إِلَٰهَ
deity
إِلَّا
except
هُوَ
He
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ
The Infinitely Extremely Merciful
ٱلرَّحِيمُ
The Consistently Merciful
إِنَّ
Truly
فِى
in
خَلۡقِ
creation of
ٱلس
the
َّمَٰوَٰتِ
heavens
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡأَرۡضِ
earth
وَ
&
ٱخۡتِلَٰفِ
alternation of
ٱل
the
َّيۡلِ
night
و
&
َٱل
the
نَّهَارِ
day
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡفُلۡكِ
ships
ٱلَّتِى
that
تَجۡرِى
sail
فِى
in
ٱلۡ
the
بَحۡرِ
sea
بِ
with
مَا
what
يَنفَعُ
benefits
ٱل
the
نَّاسَ
people
وَ
&
مَآ
what
أَنزَلَ
sent down
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
مِنَ
from
ٱل
the
سَّمَآءِ
sky
مِن
of
مَّآءٖ
water
فَ
then
أَحۡيَا
He gave life
بِ
with
هِ
it
ٱلۡ
the
أَرۡضَ
earth
بَعۡدَ
after
مَوۡت
death of
ِهَا
its
وَ
&
بَثَّ
He spread
فِي
in
هَا
it
مِن
of
كُلِّ
every
دَآبَّةٖ
creature
وَ
&
تَصۡرِيفِ
turning of
ٱل
the
رِّيَٰحِ
winds
و
&
َٱل
the
سَّحَابِ
clouds
ٱلۡ
the
مُسَخَّرِ
held
بَيۡنَ
between
ٱل
the
سَّمَآءِ
sky
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡأَرۡضِ
earth
لَ
surely
أٓيَٰتٖ
signs
لِّ
for
قَوۡمٖ
a people
يَعۡقِلُونَ
use their reason
و
&
َمِنَ
among
ٱل
the
نَّاسِ
people
مَن
who
يَتَّخِذُ
takes
مِن
from
دُونِ
besides
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
أَندَادٗا
rivals
يُحِبُّون
they love
َهُمۡ
them
كَ
as
حُبِّ
love of
ٱللَّهِۖ
Allah
وَ
But
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
believed
أَشَدُّ
more intense
حُبّٗا
in love
لِّ
for
ٱللَّهِۗ
Allah
و
&
َلَوۡ
if only
يَرَى
could see
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ظَلَمُوٓاْ
wronged
إِذۡ
when
يَرَوۡنَ
they see
ٱلۡ
the
عَذَابَ
punishment
أَنَّ
that
ٱلۡ
the
قُوَّةَ
power
لِ
for
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
جَمِيعٗا
all
وَ
&
أَنَّ
that
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
شَدِيدُ
severe
ٱلۡ
the
عَذَابِ
punishment of
إِذۡ
when
تَبَرَّأَ
disowned
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ٱتُّبِعُواْ
were followed
مِنَ
from
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ٱتَّبَعُواْ
followed
وَ
&
رَأَوُاْ
see
ٱلۡ
the
عَذَابَ
punishment
وَ
&
تَقَطَّعَتۡ
are cut
بِ
with
هِمُ
them
ٱلۡ
the
أَسۡبَابُ
ties
وَ
&
قَالَ
said
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ٱتَّبَعُواْ
followed
لَوۡ
if only
أَنَّ
that
لَ
for
نَا
us
كَرَّةٗ
another chance
فَ
then
نَتَبَرَّأَ
we would disown
مِنۡ
from
هُمۡ
them
كَمَا
as
تَبَرَّءُواْ
they disowned
مِنَّ
from
ا
us
كَذَٰلِكَ
likewise
يُرِي
shows
هِمُ
them
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
أَعۡمَٰل
deeds of
َهُمۡ
their
حَسَرَٰتٍ
regrets
عَلَىٰ
over
هِمۡ
them
وَ
&
مَا
not
هُم
they
بِ
ever
خَٰرِجِينَ
leaving
مِنَ
from
ٱل
the
نَّارِ
Fire
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
O
ٱل
the
نَّاسُ
people
كُلُواْ
eat
م
from
ِمَّا
what
فِى
in
ٱلۡ
the
أَرۡضِ
earth
حَلَٰلٗا
lawful
طَيِّبٗا
good
و
&
َلَا
not
تَتَّبِعُواْ
you follow
خُطُوَٰتِ
footsteps of
ٱل
the
شَّيۡطَٰنِ
Satan
إِنَّ
Indeed
هُۥ
he
ل
to
َكُمۡ
you
عَدُوّٞ
an enemy
مُّبِينٌ
clear
إِنَّمَا
only
يَأۡمُرُ
he orders
كُم
you
بِ
with
ٱل
the
سُّوٓءِ
evil
و
&
َٱ
the
لۡفَحۡشَآءِ
shameful things
و
&
َأَن
that
تَقُولُواْ
you say
عَلَى
about
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
مَا
what
لَا
not
تَعۡلَمُونَ
you know
و
&
َإِذَا
when
قِيلَ
it is said
ل
to
َهُمُ
them
ٱتَّبِعُواْ
follow
مَآ
what
أَنزَلَ
sent down
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
قَالُواْ
they said
بَلۡ
No
نَتَّبِعُ
we follow
مَآ
what
أَلۡفَيۡنَا
we found
عَل
on
َيۡهِ
it
ءَابَآء
fathers of
َنَآۚ
our
أَوَ
even
لَوۡ
if
كَانَ
were
ءَابَآؤ
fathers of
ُهُمۡ
their
لَا
not
يَعۡقِلُونَ
they reason
شَيۡـٔٗا
anything
و
&
َلَا
not
يَهۡتَدُونَ
they are guided
وَ
&
مَثَلُ
example of
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
كَفَرُواْ
they disbelieved
ك
like
َمَثَلِ
example of
ٱلَّذِى
the one who
يَنۡعِقُ
shouts
بِ
at
مَا
what
لَا
not
يَسۡمَعُ
hears
إِلَّا
except
دُعَآءٗ
a call
و
&
َنِدَآءٗ
a cry
صُمُّ
deaf
بُكۡمٌ
dumb
عُمۡى
blind
ف
so
َهُمۡ
they
لَا
not
يَعۡقِلُونَ
they reason
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
O
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
believed
كُلُواْ
eat
مِن
from
طَيِّبَٰتِ
good things of
مَا
what
رَزَق
provided
ۡنَٰ
We
كُمۡ
you
و
&
َٱشۡكُرُواْ
you give thanks
لِ
for
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
إِن
if
كُنتُمۡ
you were
إِيَّاهُ
Him
تَعۡبُدُونَ
you worship
إِنَّمَا
only
حَرَّمَ
He forbade
عَلَي
on
ۡكُمُ
you
ٱلۡ
the
مَيۡتَةَ
dead meat
و
&
َٱ
the
لدَّمَ
blood
و
&
َلَحۡمَ
meat of
ٱلۡ
the
خِنزِيرِ
pig
و
&
َمَآ
what
أُهِلَّ
is invoked
بِ
with
هِۦ
it
لِ
for
غَيۡرِ
other than
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
ف
but
َمَنِ
whoever
ٱضۡطُرَّ
is forced
غَيۡرَ
without
بَاغ
desiring
و
&
َلَا
not
عَاد
transgressing
ف
then
َلَآ
no
إِثۡمَ
sin
عَلَي
on
ۡهِ
him
إِنَّ
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
غَفُور
The Vastly Forgiving
رَّحِيمٌ
The Consistently Merciful
إِنَّ
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
يَكۡتُمُونَ
they hide
مَآ
what
أَنزَلَ
sent down
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
مِنَ
from
ٱلۡ
the
كِتَٰبِ
Book
و
&
َيَشۡتَرُونَ
they sell
بِ
for
هِۦ
it
ثَمَنٗا
a price
قَلِيلًا
small
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
those
مَا
not
يَأۡكُلُونَ
they eat
فِى
in
بُطُونِ
bellies of
هِمۡ
their
إِلَّا
but
ٱل
the
نَّارَ
Fire
و
&
َلَا
not
يُكَلِّم
He speaks to
ُهُمُ
them
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
يَوۡمَ
day of
ٱلۡ
the
قِيَٰمَةِ
Rising
و
&
َلَا
not
يُزَكِّ
He purifies
يهِمۡ
them
و
&
َل
for
َهُمۡ
them
عَذَابٌ
a punishment
أَلِيمٌ
painful
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
Those
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ٱشۡتَرَوُاْ
they bought
ٱل
the
ضَّلَٰلَةَ
straying
بِ
with
ٱلۡ
the
هُدَىٰ
guidance
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡعَذَابَ
punishment
بِ
with
ٱلۡ
the
مَغۡفِرَةِ
forgiveness
ف
so
َمَآ
what
أَصۡبَر
patient
َهُمۡ
them
عَلَى
on
ٱل
the
نَّارِ
Fire
ذَٰلِكَ
That
بِأَنَّ
because
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
نَزَّلَ
sent down
ٱلۡ
the
كِتَٰبَ
Book
بِ
with
ٱلۡ
the
حَقِّ
truth
و
&
َإِنَّ
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ٱخۡتَلَفُواْ
disagreed
فِى
in
ٱلۡ
the
كِتَٰبِ
Book
ل
surely
َفِى
in
شِقَاقِ
division
بَعِيد
deep
لَّيۡسَ
is not
ٱلۡ
the
بِرَّ
righteousness
أَن
that
تُوَلُّواْ
you turn
وُجُوه
faces of
َكُمۡ
your
قِبَلَ
toward
ٱلۡ
the
مَشۡرِقِ
east
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡمَغۡرِبِ
west
و
&
َلَٰكِنَّ
but
ٱلۡ
the
بِرَّ
righteousness
مَنۡ
whoever
ءَامَنَ
believed
بِ
in
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
و
&
َٱ
in
لۡ
the
يَوۡمِ
Day
ٱلۡ
the
أٓخِرِ
Last
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ
angels
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡكِتَٰبِ
Book
و
&
َٱ
the
لنَّبِيِّـۧنَ
prophets
و
&
َءَاتَى
gives
ٱل
the
ۡمَالَ
wealth
عَلَىٰ
despite
حُبِّ
love of
هِۦ
its
ذَوِى
owner of
ٱلۡ
the
قُرۡبَىٰ
kinship
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡيَتَٰمَىٰ
orphans
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡمَسَٰكِينَ
needy
و
&
َٱبۡنَ
son of
ٱل
the
سَّبِيلِ
path
و
&
َٱ
the
لسَّآئِلِينَ
those who ask
و
&
َفِى
in
ٱل
the
رِّقَابِ
necks
و
&
َأَقَامَ
established
ٱل
the
صَّلَوٰةَ
prayer
و
&
َءَاتَى
gives
ٱل
the
زَّكَوٰةَ
purifying charity
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡمُوفُونَ
ones who fulfill
بِ
with
عَهۡدِ
covenant of
هِمۡ
their
إِذَا
when
عَٰهَدُواْ
they make a covenant
و
&
َٱل
the
صَّٰبِرِينَ
patient
فِى
in
ٱلۡ
the
بَأۡسَآءِ
hardship
و
&
َٱل
the
ضَّرَّآءِ
harm
و
&
َحِينَ
time of
ٱلۡ
the
بَأۡسِ
danger
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
Those
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
صَدَقُواْ
they are true
و
&
َأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
Those
هُمُ
they
ٱلۡ
the
مُتَّقُونَ
mindful of Allah
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
O
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
believed
كُتِبَ
is written
عَلَي
on
ۡكُمُ
you
ٱلۡ
the
قِصَاصُ
retaliation
فِى
in
ٱلۡ
the
قَتۡلَى
killed ones
ٱلۡ
the
حُرُّ
free
بِ
with
ٱلۡ
the
حُرِّ
free
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡعَبۡدُ
slave
بِ
with
ٱلۡ
the
عَبۡدِ
slave
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡأُنثَىٰ
female
بِ
with
ٱلۡ
the
أُنثَىٰ
female
ف
but
َمَنۡ
whoever
عُفِىَ
is let off
ل
for
َهُۥ
him
مِنۡ
from
أَخِي
brother of
هِ
his
شَىۡء
something
ف
then
َٱتِّبَاعُ
following up
بِ
with
ٱلۡ
the
مَعۡرُوفِ
fairness
و
&
َأَدَآءٌ
payment
إِلَيۡ
to
هِ
him
بِ
with
إِحۡسَٰنٖ
goodness
ذَٰلِكَ
That
تَخۡفِيف
a lightening
مِّن
from
رَّبِّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
كُمۡ
your
و
&
َرَحۡمَة
a mercy
ف
but
َمَنِ
whoever
ٱعۡتَدَىٰ
transgressed
بَعۡدَ
after
ذَٰلِكَ
that
ف
then
َل
for
َهُۥ
him
عَذَابٌ
a punishment
أَلِيم
painful
و
&
َل
for
َكُمۡ
you
فِى
in
ٱلۡ
the
قِصَاصِ
retaliation
حَيَوٰة
life
يَٰٓ
O
أُوْلِى
owners of
ٱلۡ
the
أَلۡبَٰبِ
understanding
لَعَلَّ
so that
كُمۡ
you
تَتَّقُونَ
you are mindful
كُتِبَ
is written
عَلَي
on
ۡكُمۡ
you
إِذَا
when
حَضَرَ
comes
أَحَدَ
one of
كُمُ
you
ٱلۡ
the
مَوۡتُ
death
إِن
if
تَرَكَ
he leaves
خَيۡرًا
wealth
ٱلۡ
the
وَصِيَّةُ
will
لِ
for
لۡ
the
وَٰلِدَيۡنِ
two parents
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡأَقۡرَبِينَ
close relatives
بِ
with
ٱلۡ
the
مَعۡرُوفِ
fairness
حَقًّا
a duty
عَلَى
on
ٱلۡ
the
مُتَّقِينَ
mindful of Allah
ف
but
َمَن
whoever
بَدَّلَ
changes
هُۥ
it
بَعۡدَ
after
مَا
what
سَمِعَ
he heard
هُۥ
it
ف
then
َإِنَّمَآ
only
إِثۡمُ
sin of
هُۥ
its
عَلَى
on
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
يُبَدِّلُونَ
they change
هُۥٓ
it
إِنَّ
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
سَمِيعٌ
The All-Hearing
عَلِيم
The All-Knowing
ف
but
َمَنۡ
whoever
خَافَ
feared
مِن
from
مُّوص
one making a will
جَنَفًا
a mistake
أَوۡ
or
إِثۡمٗا
a wrong
ف
then
َأَصۡلَحَ
he set right
بَيۡنَ
between
هُمۡ
them
ف
then
َلَآ
no
إِثۡمَ
sin
عَلَي
on
ۡهِ
him
إِنَّ
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
غَفُور
The Vastly Forgiving
رَّحِيم
The Consistently Merciful
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
O
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
believed
كُتِبَ
is written
عَلَي
on
ۡكُمُ
you
ٱل
the
صِّيَامُ
fasting
كَمَا
as
كُتِبَ
was written
عَلَى
on
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
مِن
from
قَبۡل
before
ِكُمۡ
you
لَعَلَّ
so that
كُمۡ
you
تَتَّقُونَ
you are mindful
أَيَّامٗا
days
مَّعۡدُودَٰت
counted
ف
but
َمَن
whoever
كَانَ
is
مِن
from
كُم
you
مَّرِيضًا
sick
أَوۡ
or
عَلَىٰ
on
سَفَر
a journey
ف
then
َعِدَّة
a number
مِّنۡ
from
أَيَّامٍ
days
أُخَرَ
other
و
&
َعَلَى
on
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
يُطِيقُونَ
they can bear
هُۥ
it
فِدۡيَة
a ransom
طَعَامُ
food of
مِسۡكِين
a poor person
ف
but
َمَن
whoever
تَطَوَّعَ
gives willingly
خَيۡرٗا
good
ف
then
َهُوَ
it
خَيۡر
better
لَّ
for
هُۥ
him
و
&
َأَن
that
تَصُومُواْ
you fast
خَيۡر
better
لَّ
for
كُمۡ
you
إِن
if
كُنتُمۡ
you were
تَعۡلَمُونَ
you know
شَهۡرُ
month of
رَمَضَانَ
Ramadan
ٱلَّذِىٓ
the one which
أُنزِلَ
was sent down
فِ
in
يهِ
it
ٱلۡ
the
قُرۡءَانُ
Quran
هُدٗى
a guidance
لّ
for
ِل
the
نَّاسِ
people
و
&
َبَيِّنَٰت
clear proofs
مِّنَ
from
ٱلۡ
the
هُدَىٰ
guidance
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡفُرۡقَانِ
criterion
ف
but
َمَن
whoever
شَهِدَ
is present
مِن
from
كُمُ
you
ٱل
the
شَّهۡرَ
month
فَ
then
لۡيَصُمۡ
he should fast
هُ
it
وَ
&
مَن
whoever
كَانَ
is
مَرِيضًا
sick
أَوۡ
or
عَلَىٰ
on
سَفَر
a journey
فَ
then
عِدَّة
a number
مِّنۡ
from
أَيَّامٍ
days
أُخَرَ
other
يُرِيدُ
wants
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
بِ
with
كُمُ
you
ٱلۡ
the
يُسۡرَ
ease
و
&
َلَا
not
يُرِيدُ
wants
بِ
with
كُمُ
you
ٱلۡ
the
عُسۡرَ
hardship
وَ
&
لِ
so that
تُكۡمِلُواْ
you complete
ٱلۡ
the
عِدَّةَ
number
وَ
&
لِ
so that
تُكَبِّرُواْ
you magnify
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
عَلَىٰ
for
مَا
what
هَدَىٰ
He guided
كُمۡ
you
وَ
&
لَعَلَّ
so that
كُمۡ
you
تَشۡكُرُونَ
you give thanks
و
&
َإِذَا
when
سَأَلَ
ask
كَ
you
عِبَادِ
servants of
ى
My
عَنِّ
about
ى
Me
فَ
then
إِنِّ
Indeed
ى
I
قَرِيبٌ
near
أُجِيبُ
I answer
دَعۡوَةَ
call of
ٱل
the
دَّاعِ
one who calls
إِذَا
when
دَعَا
he calls
نِ
Me
فَ
then
لۡيَسۡتَجِيبُواْ
they should answer
لِ
to
ى
Me
وَ
&
لۡيُؤۡمِنُواْ
they should believe
بِ
in
ى
Me
لَعَلَّ
so that
هُمۡ
they
يَرۡشُدُونَ
they are rightly guided
أُحِلَّ
is made lawful
ل
for
َكُمۡ
you
لَيۡلَةَ
night of
ٱل
the
صِّيَامِ
fasting
ٱل
the
رَّفَثُ
intimacy
إِلَىٰ
to
نِسَآئِ
women of
كُمۡ
your
هُنَّ
they
لِبَاس
a garment
لَّ
for
كُمۡ
you
و
&
َأَنتُمۡ
you
لِبَاس
a garment
لَّ
for
هُنَّ
them
عَلِمَ
knew
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
أَنَّ
that
كُمۡ
you
كُنتُمۡ
you were
تَخۡتَانُونَ
you betray
أَنفُسَ
selves of
كُمۡ
your
ف
so
َتَابَ
He forgave
عَلَي
on
ۡكُمۡ
you
و
&
َعَفَا
He pardoned
عَن
from
كُمۡ
you
ف
so
َٱلۡـَٰٔنَ
now
بَٰشِرُو
be with
هُنَّ
them
و
&
َٱبۡتَغُواْ
seek
مَا
what
كَتَبَ
wrote
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
ل
for
َكُمۡ
you
و
&
َكُلُواْ
eat
و
&
َٱشۡرَبُواْ
drink
حَتَّىٰ
until
يَتَبَيَّنَ
becomes clear
ل
to
َكُمُ
you
ٱلۡ
the
خَيۡطُ
thread
ٱلۡ
the
أَبۡيَضُ
white
مِنَ
from
ٱلۡ
the
خَيۡطِ
thread
ٱلۡ
the
أَسۡوَدِ
black
مِنَ
from
ٱلۡ
the
فَجۡرِ
dawn
ثُمَّ
then
أَتِمُّواْ
complete
ٱل
the
صِّيَامَ
fast
إِلَى
until
ٱل
the
َّيۡلِ
night
و
&
َلَا
not
تُبَٰشِرُو
you be with
هُنَّ
them
و
&
َأَنتُمۡ
you
عَٰكِفُونَ
in retreat
فِى
in
ٱلۡ
the
مَسَٰجِدِ
mosques
تِلۡكَ
those
حُدُودُ
limits of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
ف
so
َلَا
not
تَقۡرَبُو
you go near
هَا
them
كَذَٰلِكَ
likewise
يُبَيِّنُ
makes clear
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
ءَايَٰتِ
verses of
هِۦ
His
لِ
for
لن
the
َّاسِ
people
لَعَلَّ
so that
هُمۡ
they
يَتَّقُونَ
they are mindful
و
&
َلَا
not
تَأۡكُلُوٓاْ
you eat up
أَمۡوَٰلَ
wealth of
كُم
your
بَيۡنَ
among
كُم
you
بِ
with
ٱلۡ
the
بَٰطِلِ
falsehood
و
&
َتُدۡلُواْ
you offer
بِ
with
هَآ
it
إِلَى
to
ٱلۡ
the
حُكَّامِ
authorities
لِ
so that
تَأۡكُلُواْ
you eat
فَرِيقٗا
a part
مِّنۡ
from
أَمۡوَٰلِ
wealth of
ٱل
the
نَّاسِ
people
بِ
with
ٱلۡ
the
إِثۡمِ
sin
و
&
َأَنتُمۡ
you
تَعۡلَمُونَ
you know
يَسۡـَٔلُونَ
they ask
كَ
you
عَنِ
about
ٱلۡ
the
أَهِلَّةِ
new moons
قُلۡ
say
هِىَ
they are
مَوَٰقِيتُ
markers of time
لِ
for
لن
the
َّاسِ
people
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡحَجِّ
pilgrimage
و
&
َلَيۡسَ
is not
ٱلۡ
the
بِرُّ
righteousness
بِ
in
أَن
that
تَأۡتُواْ
you enter
ٱلۡ
the
بُيُوتَ
houses
مِن
from
ظُهُورِ
backs of
هَا
their
و
&
َلَٰكِنَّ
but indeed
ٱلۡ
the
بِرَّ
righteousness
مَنِ
whoever
ٱتَّقَىٰ
is mindful
و
&
َأۡتُواْ
enter
ٱلۡ
the
بُيُوتَ
houses
مِنۡ
from
أَبۡوَٰبِ
doors of
هَا
their
و
&
َٱتَّقُواْ
be mindful of
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
لَعَلَّ
so that
كُمۡ
you
تُفۡلِحُونَ
you succeed
و
&
َقَٰتِلُواْ
fight
فِى
in
سَبِيلِ
way of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
يُقَٰتِلُونَ
they fight
كُمۡ
you
و
&
َلَا
not
تَعۡتَدُوٓاْ
you go beyond the limit
إِنَّ
indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
لَا
not
يُحِبُّ
loves
ٱلۡ
the
مُعۡتَدِينَ
who go beyond the limit
و
&
َٱقۡتُلُو
kill
هُمۡ
them
حَيۡثُ
wherever
ثَقِفۡتُمُو
you come upon
هُمۡ
them
و
&
َأَخۡرِجُو
drive out
هُم
them
مِّنۡ
from
حَيۡثُ
where
أَخۡرَجُو
they drove out
كُمۡ
you
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡفِتۡنَةُ
persecution
أَشَدُّ
worse
مِنَ
than
ٱلۡ
the
قَتۡلِ
killing
و
&
َلَا
not
تُقَٰتِلُو
you fight
هُمۡ
them
عِندَ
at
ٱلۡ
the
مَسۡجِدِ
Mosque
ٱلۡ
the
حَرَامِ
Sacred
حَتَّىٰ
until
يُقَٰتِلُو
they fight
كُمۡ
you
فِي
in
هِ
it
ف
so
َإِن
if
قَٰتَلُو
they fight
كُمۡ
you
ف
then
َٱقۡتُلُو
kill
هُمۡ
them
كَذَٰلِكَ
that
جَزَآءُ
repayment of
ٱلۡ
the
كَٰفِرِينَ
deniers
ف
so
َإِنِ
if
ٱنتَهَوۡاْ
they stop
ف
then
َإِنَّ
indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
غَفُور
The Vastly Forgiving
رَّحِيم

و
&
َقَٰتِلُو
fight
هُمۡ
them
حَتَّىٰ
until
لَا
not
تَكُونَ
there is
فِتۡنَة
persecution
و
&
َيَكُونَ
is
ٱل
the
دِّينُ
way of life
لِ
for
لَّهِ
Allah
ف
so
َإِنِ
if
ٱنتَهَوۡاْ
they stop
ف
then
َلَا
not
عُدۡوَٰنَ
hostility
إِلَّا
except
عَلَى
against
ٱلظ
the
َّٰلِمِينَ
wrongdoers
ٱل
the
شَّهۡرُ
month
ٱلۡ
the
حَرَامُ
sacred
بِ
for
ٱل
the
شَّهۡرِ
month
ٱلۡ
the
حَرَامِ
sacred
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡحُرُمَٰتُ
violations
قِصَاص
retaliation
ف
so
َمَنِ
whoever
ٱعۡتَدَىٰ
attacks
عَلَي
on
ۡكُمۡ
you
ف
then
َٱعۡتَدُواْ
attack
عَلَي
on
ۡهِ
him
بِ
with
مِثۡلِ
like of
مَا
what
ٱعۡتَدَىٰ
he attacked
عَلَي
on
ۡكُمۡ
you
و
&
َٱتَّقُواْ
be mindful of
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
و
&
َٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ
know
أَنَّ
that
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
مَعَ
with
ٱلۡ
the
مُتَّقِينَ
who are mindful
و
&
َأَنفِقُواْ
spend
فِى
in
سَبِيلِ
way of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
و
&
َلَا
not
تُلۡقُواْ
throw
بِ
with
أَيۡدِي
hands of
كُمۡ
your
إِلَى
into
ٱل
the
تَّهۡلُكَةِ
destruction
و
&
َأَحۡسِنُوٓاْ
do good
إِنَّ
indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
يُحِبُّ
loves
ٱلۡ
the
مُحۡسِنِينَ
who do good
و
&
َأَتِمُّواْ
complete
ٱلۡ
the
حَجَّ
Hajj
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡعُمۡرَةَ
Umrah
لِ
for
لَّهِ
Allah
ف
so
َإِنۡ
if
أُحۡصِرۡتُمۡ
you are prevented
ف
then
َمَا
whatever
ٱسۡتَيۡسَرَ
is easy
مِنَ
of
ٱلۡ
the
هَدۡىِ
offering
و
&
َلَا
not
تَحۡلِقُواْ
you shave
رُءُوسَ
heads of
كُمۡ
your
حَتَّىٰ
until
يَبۡلُغَ
reaches
ٱلۡ
the
هَدۡىُ
offering
مَحِلَّ
place of
هُ
its
ف
so
َمَن
whoever
كَانَ
is
مِن
of
كُم
you
مَّرِيضًا
ill
أَوۡ
or
بِ
with
هِۦٓ
him
أَذٗى
an ailment
مِّن
from
رَّأۡسِ
head of
هِۦ
his
ف
then
َفِدۡيَة
a ransom of
مِّن
of
صِيَامٍ
fasting
أَوۡ
or
صَدَقَةٍ
charity
أَوۡ
or
نُسُك
a sacrifice
ف
then
َإِذَآ
when
أَمِنتُمۡ
you are safe
ف
then
َمَن
whoever
تَمَتَّعَ
combines
بِ
with
ٱلۡ
the
عُمۡرَةِ
Umrah
إِلَى
to
ٱلۡ
the
حَجِّ
Hajj
ف
then
َمَا
whatever
ٱسۡتَيۡسَرَ
is easy
مِنَ
of
ٱلۡ
the
هَدۡىِ
offering
ف
then
َمَن
whoever
لَّمۡ
not
يَجِدۡ
finds
ف
then
َصِيَامُ
fasting of
ثَلَٰثَةِ
three
أَيَّام
days
فِى
during
ٱلۡ
the
حَجِّ
Hajj
و
&
َسَبۡعَةٍ
seven
إِذَا
when
رَجَعۡتُمۡ
you return
تِلۡكَ
that is
عَشَرَة
ten
كَامِلَة
in full
ذَٰلِكَ
that
لِ
for
مَن
whoever
لَّمۡ
not
يَكُنۡ
has
أَهۡلُ
family of
هُۥ
his
حَاضِرِى
residing at
ٱلۡ
the
مَسۡجِدِ
Mosque
ٱلۡ
the
حَرَامِ
Sacred
و
&
َٱتَّقُواْ
be mindful of
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
و
&
َٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ
know
أَنَّ
that
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
شَدِيدُ
severe in
ٱلۡ
the
عِقَابِ
punishment
ٱلۡ
the
حَجُّ
Hajj
أَشۡهُر
months
مَّعۡلُومَٰت
well-known
ف
so
َمَن
whoever
فَرَضَ
commits to
فِي
in
هِنَّ
them
ٱلۡ
the
حَجَّ
Hajj
ف
then
َلَا
no
رَفَثَ
intimacy
و
&
َلَا
no
فُسُوقَ
wrongdoing
و
&
َلَا
no
جِدَالَ
arguing
فِى
during
ٱلۡ
the
حَجِّ
Hajj
و
&
َمَا
whatever
تَفۡعَلُواْ
you do
مِنۡ
of
خَيۡر
good
يَعۡلَمۡ
knows
هُ
it
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
و
&
َتَزَوَّدُواْ
take provisions
ف
so
َإِنَّ
indeed
خَيۡرَ
best of
ٱل
the
زَّادِ
provision
ٱل
the
تَّقۡوَىٰ
mindfulness
و
&
َٱتَّقُو
be mindful of
نِ
Me
يَٰٓأُوْلِى
O people of
ٱلۡ
the
أَلۡبَٰبِ
understanding
لَيۡسَ
is not
عَلَي
on
ۡكُمۡ
you
جُنَاحٌ
blame
أَن
to
تَبۡتَغُواْ
seek
فَضۡلٗا
bounty
مِّن
from
رَّبّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
ِكُمۡ
your
ف
then
َإِذَآ
when
أَفَضۡتُم
you move on
مِّنۡ
from
عَرَفَٰت
Arafat
ف
then
َٱذۡكُرُواْ
remember
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
عِندَ
at
ٱلۡ
the
مَشۡعَرِ
Landmark
ٱلۡ
the
حَرَامِ
Sacred
و
&
َٱذۡكُرُو
remember
هُ
Him
كَمَا
as
هَدَىٰ
He guided
كُمۡ
you
و
&
َإِن
though
كُنتُم
you were
مِّن
among
قَبۡلِ
before
هِۦ
it
لَ
indeed
مِنَ
among
ٱل
the
ضَّآلِّينَ
gone astray
ثُمَّ
then
أَفِيضُواْ
move on
مِنۡ
from
حَيۡثُ
where
أَفَاضَ
moves on
ٱل
the
نَّاسُ
people
و
&
َٱسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ
ask for forgiveness
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
إِنَّ
indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
غَفُور
The Vastly Forgiving
رَّحِيم
The Consistently Merciful
ف
then
َإِذَا
when
قَضَيۡتُم
you have finished
مَّنَٰسِكَ
rites of
كُمۡ
your
ف
then
َٱذۡكُرُواْ
remember
ٱللَّهَ

as
ذِكۡرِ
remembrance of
كُمۡ
your
ءَابَآءَ
fathers of
كُمۡ
your
أَوۡ
or
أَشَدَّ
more
ذِكۡرٗا
in remembrance
ف
so
َمِنَ
among
ٱل
the
نَّاسِ
people
مَن
some
يَقُولُ
say
رَبَّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
نَآ
our
ءَاتِنَا
give us
فِى
in
ٱل
the
دُّنۡيَا
world
و
&
َمَا
not
لَ
for
هُ
them
فِى
in
ٱلۡ
the
أٓخِرَةِ
Hereafter
مِنۡ
of
خَلَٰق
share
و
&
َمِنۡ
among
هُم
them
مَّن
those
يَقُولُ
say
رَبَّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
نَآ
our
ءَاتِنَا
give us
فِى
in
ٱل
the
دُّنۡيَا
world
حَسَنَةٗ
good
و
&
َفِى
in
ٱلۡ
the
أٓخِرَةِ
Hereafter
حَسَنَةٗ
good
و
&
َقِنَا
protect us
عَذَابَ
punishment of
ٱل
the
نَّارِ
Fire
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
those
لَ
for
هُمۡ
them
نَصِيب
a share
مِّمَّا
of what
كَسَبُواْ
they earned
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
سَرِيعُ
quick in
ٱلۡ
the
حِسَابِ
reckoning
و
&
َٱذۡكُرُواْ
remember
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
فِىٓ
during
أَيَّام
days
مَّعۡدُودَٰت
counted
ف
so
َمَن
whoever
تَعَجَّلَ
hurries
فِى
in
يَوۡمَيۡنِ
two days
ف
then
َلَآ
no
إِثۡمَ
sin
عَلَي
on
ۡهِ
him
و
&
َمَن
whoever
تَأَخَّرَ
stays longer
ف
then
َلَآ
no
إِثۡمَ
sin
عَلَي
on
ۡهِ
him
لِ
for
مَنِ
one who
ٱتَّقَىٰ
is mindful
و
&
َٱتَّقُواْ
be mindful of
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
و
&
َٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ
know
أَنَّ
that
كُمۡ
you
إِلَي
to
ۡهِ
Him
تُحۡشَرُونَ
you will be gathered
و
&

pleases
كَ
you
قَوۡلُ
words of
هُ
his
فِى
about
ٱلۡ
the
حَيَوٰةِ
life
ٱل
the
دُّنۡيَا
worldly
و
&
َيُشۡهِدُ
calls to witness
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
عَلَىٰ
over
مَا
what
فِى
in
قَلۡبِ
heart of
هِۦ
his
و
&
َهُوَ
he is
أَلَدُّ
fiercest of
ٱلۡ
the
خِصَامِ
opponents
و
&
َإِذَا
when
تَوَلَّىٰ
he leaves
سَعَىٰ
he goes about
فِى
in
ٱلۡ
the
أَرۡضِ
earth
لِ
to
يُفۡسِدَ
corrupt
فِي
in
هَا
it
و
&
َيُهۡلِكَ
destroy
ٱلۡ
the
حَرۡثَ
crops
و
&
َٱ
the
لنَّسۡلَ
livestock
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
لَا
not
يُحِبُّ
loves
ٱلۡ
the
فَسَادَ
corruption
و
&
َإِذَا
when
قِيلَ
it is said
لَ
to
هُ
him
ٱتَّقِ
be mindful of
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
أَخَذَتۡ
seizes
هُ
him
ٱلۡ
the
عِزَّةُ
pride
بِ
into
ٱلۡ
the
إِثۡمِ
sin
ف
then
َحَسۡبُ
enough for
هُ
him
جَهَنَّمُ
Hell
و
&
َلَبِئۡسَ
miserable is
ٱلۡ
the
مِهَادُ
resting place
و
&
َمِنَ
among
ٱل
the
نَّاسِ
people
مَن
one
يَشۡرِى
gives up
نَفۡسَ
self of
هُ
his
ٱبۡتِغَآءَ
seeking
مَرۡضَاتِ
pleasure of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
رَءُوفُ
The Tenderly Kind
بِ
to
ٱلۡ
the
عِبَادِ
servants
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
O
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
believe
ٱدۡخُلُواْ
enter
فِى
into
ٱل
the
سِّلۡمِ
peace
كَآفَّةٗ
completely
و
&
َلَا
not
تَتَّبِعُواْ
follow
خُطُوَٰتِ
footsteps of
ٱل
the
شَّيۡطَٰنِ
Shaytan
إِنَّ
indeed
هُ
he
ل
to
َكُمۡ
you
عَدُوّ
an enemy
مُّبِين
clear
ف
so
َإِن
if
زَلَلۡتُم
you slip
مِّن
from
بَعۡدِ
after
مَا
what
جَآءَتۡ
have come to
كُمُ
you
ٱلۡ
the
بَيِّنَٰتُ
clear proofs
ف
then
َٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ
know
أَنَّ
that
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
عَزِيزٌ
The Honoured Unmatchable Invincible
حَكِيمٌ
The Perfectly Wise
هَلۡ
do
يَنظُرُونَ
they wait
إِلَّآ
except
أَن
that
يَأۡتِيَ
comes to
هُمُ
them
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
فِى
in
ظُلَل
shadows
مِّنَ
of
ٱلۡ
the
غَمَامِ
cloud
و
&
َٱل
the
ۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
angels
و
&
َقُضِىَ
is settled
ٱلۡ
the
أَمۡرُ
matter
و
&
َإِلَى
to
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
تُرۡجَعُ
are returned
ٱلۡ
the
أُمُورُ
matters
سَلۡ
ask
بَنِىٓ
children of
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
Israel
كَمۡ
how many
ءَاتَيۡنَٰ
We gave
هُم
them
مِّنۡ
of
ءَايَةِ
a sign
بَيِّنَة
clear
و
&
َمَن
whoever
يُبَدِّلۡ
changes
نِعۡمَةَ
blessing of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
مِنۢ
from
بَعۡدِ
after
مَا
what
جَآءَتۡ
has come to
هُ
him
ف
then
َإِنَّ
indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
شَدِيدُ
severe in
ٱلۡ
the
عِقَابِ
punishment
زُيِّنَ
is made attractive
لِ
for
لَّذِينَ
those who
كَفَرُواْ
deny
ٱلۡ
the
حَيَوٰةُ
life
ٱل
the
دُّنۡيَا
world
و
&
َيَسۡخَرُونَ
they mock
مِنَ
at
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
believe
و
&
َٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ٱتَّقَوۡاْ
are mindful
فَوۡقَ
above
هُمۡ
them
يَوۡمَ
day of
ٱلۡ
the
قِيَٰمَةِ
Rising
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
يَرۡزُقُ
gives
مَن
whom
يَشَآءُ
He wills
بِ
without
غَيۡرِ
measure of
حِسَاب
reckoning
كَانَ
were
ٱل
the
نَّاسُ
people
أُمَّةٗ
a community
و
&
َٰحِدَةٗ
one
ف
then
َبَعَثَ
sent
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
ٱل
the
نَّبِيِّـۧنَ
prophets
مُبَشِّرِينَ
bringers of good news
و
&
َمُنذِرِينَ
warners
و
&
َأَنزَلَ
sent down
مَعَ
with
هُمُ
them
ٱلۡ
the
كِتَٰبَ
Book
بِ
with
ٱلۡ
the
حَقِّ
truth
لِ
to
يَحۡكُمَ
judge
بَيۡنَ
between
ٱل
the
نَّاسِ
people
فِي
in
مَا
what
ٱخۡتَلَفُواْ
they disagreed
فِي
about
هِ
it
و
&
َمَا
not
ٱخۡتَلَفَ
disagreed
فِي
about
هِ
it
إِلَّا
except
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
أُوتُو
were given
هُ
it
مِنۢ
from
بَعۡدِ
after
مَا
what
جَآءَتۡ
came to
هُمُ
them
ٱلۡ
the
بَيِّنَٰتُ
clear proofs
بَغۡيَۢا
out of envy
بَيۡنَ
among
هُمۡ
them
ف
then
َهَدَى
guided
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
believed
لِ
to
مَا
what
ٱخۡتَلَفُواْ
they disagreed
فِي
about
هِ
it
مِنَ
of
ٱلۡ
the
حَقِّ
truth
بِ
by
إِذۡنِ
leave of
هِۦ
His
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
يَهۡدِى
guides
مَن
whom
يَشَآءُ
He wills
إِلَىٰ
to
صِرَٰط
a path
مُّسۡتَقِيمٍ
straight
أَمۡ
or
حَسِبۡتُمۡ
did you think
أَن
that
تَدۡخُلُواْ
you would enter
ٱلۡ
the
جَنَّةَ
Garden
و
&
َلَمَّا
not yet
يَأۡتِ
comes to
كُم
you
مَّثَلُ
example of
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
خَلَوۡاْ
passed away
مِن
from
قَبۡلِ
before
كُم
you
مَّسَّتۡ
touched
هُمُ
them
ٱلۡ
the
بَأۡسَآءُ
hardship
و
&
َٱ
the
لضَّرَّآءُ
harm
و
&
َزُلۡزِلُواْ
they were shaken
حَتَّىٰ
until
يَقُولَ
said
ٱل
the
رَّسُولُ
messenger
و
&
َٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
believed
مَعَ
with
هُ
him
مَتَىٰ
when
نَصۡرُ
help of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
أَلَآ
truly
إِنَّ
indeed
نَصۡرَ
help of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
قَرِيب
near
يَسۡـَٔلُونَ
they ask
كَ
you
مَاذَا
what
يُنفِقُونَ
they should spend
قُلۡ
say
مَآ
whatever
أَنفَقۡتُم
you spend
مِّنۡ
of
خَيۡر
good
فَ
then
لِلۡ
for the
وَٰلِدَيۡنِ
parents
و
&
َٱلۡ
the
أَقۡرَبِينَ
relatives
و
&
َٱلۡ
the
يَتَٰمَىٰ
orphans
و
&
َٱلۡ
the
مَسَٰكِينِ
poor
و
&
َٱبۡنِ
son of
ٱل
the
سَّبِيلِ
road
و
&
َمَا
whatever
تَفۡعَلُواْ
you do
مِنۡ
of
خَيۡر
good
ف
then
َإِنَّ
indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
بِ
of
هِۦ
it
عَلِيم
The All-Knowing
كُتِبَ
is prescribed
عَلَي
for
ۡكُمُ
you
ٱلۡ
the
قِتَالُ
fighting
و
&
َهُوَ
it is
كُرۡه
hated
لَّ
for
كُمۡ
you
و
&
َعَسَىٰٓ
perhaps
أَن
that
تَكۡرَهُواْ
you dislike
شَيۡـٔٗا
a thing
و
&
َهُوَ
it is
خَيۡر
good
لَّ
for
كُمۡ
you
و
&
َعَسَىٰٓ
perhaps
أَن
that
تُحِبُّواْ
you love
شَيۡـٔٗا
a thing
و
&
َهُوَ
it is
شَرّ
bad
لَّ
for
كُمۡ
you
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
knows
و
&
َأَنتُمۡ
you
لَا
not
تَعۡلَمُونَ
know
يَسۡـَٔلُونَ
they ask
كَ
you
عَنِ
about
ٱل
the
شَّهۡرِ
month
ٱلۡ
the
حَرَامِ
sacred
قِتَال
fighting
فِي
in
هِ
it
قُلۡ
say
قِتَال
fighting
فِي
in
هِ
it
كَبِير
great
و
&
َصَدٌّ
keeping away
عَن
from
سَبِيلِ
way of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
و
&
َكُفۡرُ
rejecting
بِ
in
هِۦ
Him
و
&
َٱلۡ
the
مَسۡجِدِ
Mosque
ٱلۡ
the
حَرَامِ
Sacred
و
&
َإِخۡرَاجُ
driving out of
أَهۡلِ
people of
هِۦ
its
مِنۡ
from
هُ
it
أَكۡبَرُ
greater
عِندَ
with
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
و
&
َٱلۡ
the
فِتۡنَةُ
persecution
أَكۡبَرُ
greater
مِنَ
than
ٱلۡ
the
قَتۡلِ
killing
و
&
َلَا
not
يَزَالُونَ
they stop
يُقَٰتِلُونَ
fighting
كُمۡ
you
حَتَّىٰ
until
يَرُدُّو
they turn back
كُمۡ
you
عَن
from
دِينِ
religion of
كُمۡ
your
إِنِ
if
ٱسۡتَطَٰعُواْ
they can
و
&
َمَن
whoever
يَرۡتَدِدۡ
turns back
مِن
among
كُمۡ
you
عَن
from
دِينِ
religion of
هِۦ
his
ف
then
َيَمُتۡ
dies
و
&
َهُوَ
he is
كَافِر
an unbeliever
ف
then
َأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
those
حَبِطَتۡ
are lost
أَعۡمَٰلُ
deeds of
هُمۡ
their
فِى
in
ٱل
the
دُّنۡيَا
world
و
&
َٱلۡ
the
أٓخِرَةِ
Hereafter
و
&
َأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
those
أَصۡحَٰبُ
people of
ٱل
the
نَّارِ
Fire
هُمۡ
they
فِي
in
هَا
it
خَٰلِدُونَ
will stay
إِنَّ
indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
believed
و
&
َٱلَّذِينَ
those who
هَاجَرُواْ
migrated
و
&
َجَٰهَدُواْ
struggled
فِى
in
سَبِيلِ
way of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
those
يَرۡجُونَ
hope for
رَحۡمَتَ
mercy of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
غَفُور
The Vastly Forgiving
رَّحِيم
The Consistently Merciful
يَسۡـَٔلُونَ
they ask
كَ
you
عَنِ
about
ٱلۡ
the
خَمۡرِ
wine
و
&
َٱلۡ
the
مَيۡسِرِ
gambling
قُلۡ
say
فِي
in
هِمَآ
them both
إِثۡم
sin
كَبِير
great
و
&
َمَنَٰفِعُ
benefits
لِ
for
لن
the
َّاسِ
people
و
&
َإِثۡمُ
sin of
هُمَآ
their
أَكۡبَرُ
greater
مِن
than
نَّفۡعِ
benefit of
هِمَا
their
و
&
َيَسۡـَٔلُونَ
they ask
كَ
you
مَاذَا
what
يُنفِقُونَ
they should spend
قُلِ
say
ٱلۡ
the
عَفۡوَ
surplus
كَذَٰلِكَ
in this way
يُبَيِّنُ
makes clear
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
ل
to
َكُمُ
you
ٱلۡ
the
أٓيَٰتِ
verses
لَعَلَّ
so that
كُمۡ
you
تَتَفَكَّرُونَ
you think
فِى
about
ٱل
the
دُّنۡيَا
world
و
&
َٱلۡ
the
أٓخِرَةِ
Hereafter
و
&
َيَسۡـَٔلُونَ
they ask
كَ
you
عَنِ
about
ٱلۡ
the
يَتَٰمَىٰ
orphans
قُلۡ
say
إِصۡلَاح
setting right
لَّ
for
هُمۡ
them
خَيۡر
best
و
&
َإِن
if
تُخَالِطُو
you mix with
هُمۡ
them
ف
then
َإِخۡوَٰنُ
brothers of
كُمۡ
your
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
knows
ٱلۡ
the
مُفۡسِدَ
who spoils
مِنَ
from
ٱلۡ
the
مُصۡلِحِ
who sets right
و
&
َلَوۡ
had
شَآءَ
willed
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
لَ
surely
أَعۡنَتَ
He made it hard for
كُمۡ
you
إِنَّ
indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
عَزِيزٌ

تَنكِحُواْ
marry
ٱلۡ
the
مُشۡرِكَٰتِ
women who set up partners
حَتَّىٰ

a slave woman
مُّؤۡمِنَةٌ
believing
خَيۡر
better
مِّن
than
مُّشۡرِكَة
a woman who sets up partners
و
&
َلَوۡ
even if
أَعۡجَبَتۡ
she impresses
كُمۡ
you
و
&
َلَا
do not
تُنكِحُواْ
give in marriage
ٱلۡ
the
مُشۡرِكِينَ
men who set up partners
حَتَّىٰ
until
يُؤۡمِنُواْ
they believe
و
&
َل
surely
َعَبۡد
a slave
مُّؤۡمِنٌ
believing
خَيۡر
better
مِّن
than
مُّشۡرِك
a man who sets up partners
و
&
َلَوۡ
even if
أَعۡجَبَ
he impresses
كُمۡ
you
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
those
يَدۡعُونَ
call
إِلَى
to
ٱلن
the
َّارِ
Fire
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
يَدۡعُوٓاْ
calls
إِلَى
to
ٱلۡ
the
جَنَّةِ
Garden
و
&
َٱلۡ
the
مَغۡفِرَةِ
forgiveness
بِ
by
إِذۡنِ
permission of
هِ
His
و
&
َيُبَيِّنُ
He makes clear
ءَايَٰتِ
verses of
هِ
His
لِ
to
لن
the
َّاسِ
people
لَعَلَّ
so that
هُمۡ
they
يَتَذَكَّرُونَ
they remember
و
&
َيَسۡـَٔلُونَ
they ask
كَ
you
عَنِ
about
ٱلۡ
the
مَحِيضِ
menstruation
قُلۡ
say
هُوَ
it is
أَذٗى
a hurt
ف
so
َٱعۡتَزِلُواْ
keep away from
ٱل
the
نِّسَآءَ
women
فِى
during
ٱلۡ
the
مَحِيضِ
menstruation
و
&
َلَا
do not
تَقۡرَبُو
approach
هُنَّ
them
حَتَّىٰ
until
يَطۡهُرۡنَ
they are clean
ف
then
َإِذَا
when
تَطَهَّرۡنَ
they have cleansed themselves
ف
then
َأۡتُو
come to
هُنَّ
them
مِنۡ
from
حَيۡثُ
as
أَمَر
ordered
َكُمُ
you
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
إِنَّ
truly
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
يُحِبُّ
loves
ٱل
the
تَّوَّٰبِينَ
who turn back to Him often
و
&
َيُحِبُّ
loves
ٱلۡ
the
مُتَطَهِّرِينَ
who keep clean
نِسَآؤُ
wives of
كُمۡ
your
حَرۡث
a field
لَّ
for
كُمۡ
you
ف
so
َأۡتُواْ
come to
حَرۡثَ
field of
كُمۡ
your
أَنَّىٰ
however
شِئۡتُمۡ
you like
و
&
َقَدِّمُواْ
send ahead
لِ
for
أَنفُسِ
selves of
كُمۡ
your
و
&
َٱتَّقُواْ
be mindful of
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
و
&
َٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ
know
أَنَّ
that
كُم
you
مُّلَٰقُو
will meet
هُ
Him
و
&
َبَشِّرِ
give good news to
ٱلۡ
the
مُؤۡمِنِينَ
believers
و
&
َلَا
do not
تَجۡعَلُواْ
make
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
عُرۡضَةٗ
an excuse
لِّ
for
أَيۡمَٰنِ
oaths of
كُمۡ
your
أَن
from
تَبَرُّواْ
you do good
و
&
َتَتَّقُواْ
are mindful
و
&
َتُصۡلِحُواْ
make peace
بَيۡنَ
between
ٱل
the
نَّاسِ
people
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
سَمِيعٌ
The All-Hearing
عَلِيم
The All-Knowing
لَّا
not
يُؤَاخِذُ
He holds to account
كُمُ
you
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
بِ
for
ٱل
the
لَّغۡوِ
careless words
فِىٓ
in
أَيۡمَٰنِ
oaths of
كُمۡ
your
و
&
َلَٰكِن
but
يُؤَاخِذُ
He holds to account
كُم
you
بِ
for
مَا
what
كَسَبَتۡ
earned
قُلُوبُ
hearts of
كُمۡ
your
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
غَفُورٌ
The Vastly Forgiving
حَلِيم
The Ever-Forbearing
لِّ
for
لَّذِينَ
those who
يُؤۡلُونَ
swear off
مِن
from
نِّسَآئِ
wives of
هِمۡ
their
تَرَبُّصُ
waiting time of
أَرۡبَعَةِ
four
أَشۡهُر
months
ف
then
َإِن
if
فَآءُو
they return
فَ
then
إِنَّ
truly
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
غَفُور
The Vastly Forgiving
رَّحِيم
The Consistently Merciful
و
&
َإِنۡ
if
عَزَمُواْ
they are set on
ٱل
the
طَّلَٰقَ
divorce
فَ
then
إِنَّ
truly
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
سَمِيعٌ
The All-Hearing
عَلِيم
The All-Knowing
و
&
َٱلۡ
the
مُطَلَّقَٰتُ
divorced women
يَتَرَبَّصۡنَ
wait
بِ
by
أَنفُسِ
selves of
هِنَّ
their
ثَلَٰثَةَ
three
قُرُوٓء
periods
و
&
َلَا
not
يَحِلُّ
lawful
لَ
for
هُنَّ
them
أَن
to
يَكۡتُمۡنَ
they hide
مَا
what
خَلَقَ
created
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
فِىٓ
in
أَرۡحَامِ
wombs of
هِنَّ
their
إِن
if
كُنَّ
they
يُؤۡمِنَّ
believe
بِ
in
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
و
&
َٱلۡ
the
يَوۡمِ
Day
ٱلۡ
the
أٓخِرِ
Last
و
&
َبُعُولَتُ
husbands of
هُنَّ
their
أَحَقُّ
have a better right
بِرَدِّ
taking back
هِنَّ
them
فِى
in
ذَٰلِكَ
that
إِنۡ
if
أَرَادُوٓاْ
they want
إِصۡلَٰحٗا
making peace
و
&
َل
for
َهُنَّ
them
مِثۡلُ
like
ٱلَّذِى
that which
عَلَيۡ
over
هِنَّ
them
بِ
in
ٱلۡ
the
مَعۡرُوفِ
fair
و
&
َلِل
for the
رِّجَالِ
men
عَلَيۡ
over
هِنَّ
them
دَرَجَة
a degree
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
عَزِيزٌ
The Honoured Unmatchable Invincible
حَكِيمٌ
The Perfectly Wise
ٱل
the
طَّلَٰقُ
divorce
مَرَّتَانِ
twice
ف
then
َإِمۡسَاكُ
keeping her
بِ
in a
مَعۡرُوف
fair way
أَوۡ
or
تَسۡرِيحُ
letting her go
بِ
with
إِحۡسَٰن
kindness
و
&
َلَا
not
يَحِلُّ
lawful
لَ
for
كُمۡ
you
أَن
to
تَأۡخُذُواْ
take back
مِمَّآ
of what
ءَاتَيۡتُمُو
you gave
هُنَّ
them
شَيۡـًٔا
anything
إِلَّآ
unless
أَن
that
يَخَافَآ
both fear
أَلَّا
not
يُقِيمَا
they keep within
حُدُودَ
limits of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
ف
then
َإِنۡ
if
خِفۡتُمۡ
you fear
أَلَّا
not
يُقِيمَا
they keep within
حُدُودَ
limits of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
ف
then
َلَا
no
جُنَاحَ
blame
عَلَيۡ
on
هِمَا
them both
فِ
for
يمَا
what
ٱفۡتَدَتۡ
she ransomed herself
بِ
with
هِ
it
تِلۡكَ
these
حُدُودُ
limits of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
ف
so
َلَا
do not
تَعۡتَدُو
go past
هَا
them
و
&
َمَن
whoever
يَتَعَدَّ
goes past
حُدُودَ
limits of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
ف
then
َأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
those
هُمُ
they
ٱل
the
ظَّٰلِمُونَ
wrongdoers
ف
then
َإِن
if
طَلَّقَ
he divorces
هَا
her
ف
then
َلَا
not
تَحِلُّ
she is lawful
لَ
for
هُ
him
مِن
from
بَعۡدُ
after
حَتَّىٰ
until
تَنكِحَ
she marries
زَوۡجًا
a husband
غَيۡرَ
other than
هُ
him
ف
then
َإِن
if
طَلَّقَ
he divorces
هَا
her
ف
then
َلَا
no
جُنَاحَ
blame
عَلَيۡ
on
هِمَآ
them both
أَن
to
يَتَرَاجَعَآ
they return to each other
إِن
if
ظَنَّآ
they both think
أَن
that
يُقِيمَا
they can keep within
حُدُودَ
limits of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
و
&
َتِلۡكَ
these
حُدُودُ
limits of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
يُبَيِّنُ
He makes clear
هَا
them
لِ
for
قَوۡم
people
يَعۡلَمُونَ
who know
و
&

َبَلَغۡنَ

أَجَلَ

هُنَّ
their
ف
then
َأَمۡسِكُو
keep
هُنَّ
them
بِ
in a
مَعۡرُوف
fair way
أَوۡ
or
سَرِّحُو
let go
هُنَّ
them
بِ
in a
مَعۡرُوف
fair way
و
&
َلَا
do not
تُمۡسِكُو
keep
هُنَّ
them
ضِرَارٗا
to harm
لِّ
to
تَعۡتَدُواْ
go beyond the limit
و
&
َمَن
whoever
يَفۡعَلۡ
does
ذَٰلِكَ
that
فَ
then
قَدۡ
already
ظَلَمَ
wronged
نَفۡسَ
self of
هُ
his
و
&
َلَا
do not
تَتَّخِذُوٓاْ
take
ءَايَٰتِ
verses of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
هُزُوٗا
in jest
و
&
َٱذۡكُرُواْ
remember
نِعۡمَتَ
blessing of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
عَلَيۡ
on
كُمۡ
you
و
&
َمَآ
what
أَنزَلَ
He sent down
عَلَيۡ
to
كُم
you
مِّنَ
of
ٱلۡ
the
كِتَٰبِ
Book
و
&
َٱلۡ
the
حِكۡمَةِ
wisdom
يَعِظُ
He advises
كُم
you
بِ
with
هِ
it
و
&
َٱتَّقُواْ
be mindful of
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
و
&
َٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ
know
أَنَّ
that
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
بِ
of
كُلِّ
every
شَىۡء
thing
عَلِيم
The All-Knowing
و
&
َإِذَا
when
طَلَّقۡتُمُ
you divorce
ٱل
the
نِّسَآءَ
women
ف
then
َبَلَغۡنَ
they reach
أَجَلَ
term of
هُنَّ
their
ف
then
َلَا
do not
تَعۡضُلُو
stop
هُنَّ
them
أَن
from
يَنكِحۡنَ
they marry
أَزۡوَٰجَ
husbands of
هُنَّ
their
إِذَا
if
تَرَٰضَوۡاْ
they agree
بَيۡنَ
between
هُم
them
بِ
in
ٱلۡ
the
مَعۡرُوفِ
fair
ذَٰلِكَ
this
يُوعَظُ
is advised
بِ
with
هِ
it
مَن
whoever
كَانَ
is
مِن
among
كُمۡ
you
يُؤۡمِنُ
believes
بِ
in
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
و
&
َٱلۡ
the
يَوۡمِ
Day
ٱلۡ
the
أٓخِرِ
Last
ذَٰلِكُمۡ
that
أَزۡكَىٰ
purer
لَ
for
كُمۡ
you
و
&
َأَطۡهَرُ
cleaner
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
knows
و
&
َأَنتُمۡ
you
لَا
not
تَعۡلَمُونَ
know
و
&
َٱلۡ
the
وَٰلِدَٰتُ
mothers
يُرۡضِعۡنَ
nurse
أَوۡلَٰدَ
children of
هُنَّ
their
حَوۡلَيۡنِ
two years
كَامِلَيۡنِ
full
لِ
for
مَنۡ
whoever
أَرَادَ
wants
أَن
to
يُتِمَّ
complete
ٱل
the
رَّضَاعَةَ
nursing
و
&
َعَلَى
on
ٱلۡ
the
مَوۡلُودِ
one born to
لَ
for
هُ
him
رِزۡقُ
provision of
هُنَّ
their
و
&
َكِسۡوَتُ
clothing of
هُنَّ
their
بِ
in
ٱلۡ
the
مَعۡرُوفِ
fair
لَا
not
تُكَلَّفُ
is burdened
نَفۡس
a soul
إِلَّا
except
وُسۡعَ
means of
هَا
its
لَا
not
تُضَآرَّ
is to be harmed
وَٰلِدَةُ
a mother
بِ
through
وَلَدِ
child of
هَا
her
و
&
َلَا
not
مَوۡلُود
one born
لَّ
for
هُ
him
بِ
through
وَلَدِ
child of
هِ
his
و
&
َعَلَى
on
ٱلۡ
the
وَارِثِ
heir
مِثۡلُ
like
ذَٰلِكَ
that
ف
then
َإِنۡ
if
أَرَادَا
both choose
فِصَالًا
weaning
عَن
after
تَرَاض
agreeing
مِّنۡ
from
هُمَا
both of them
و
&
َتَشَاوُر
consulting
ف
then
َلَا
no
جُنَاحَ
blame
عَلَيۡ
on
هِمَا
them both
و
&
َإِنۡ
if
أَرَدتُّمۡ
you want
أَن
to
تَسۡتَرۡضِعُوٓاْ
have a nurse for
أَوۡلَٰدَ
children of
كُمۡ
your
ف
then
َلَا
no
جُنَاحَ
blame
عَلَيۡ
on
كُمۡ
you
إِذَا
as long as
سَلَّمۡتُم
you pay
مَّآ
what
ءَاتَيۡتُم
you give
بِ
in
ٱلۡ
the
مَعۡرُوفِ
fair
و
&
َٱتَّقُواْ
be mindful of
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
و
&
َٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ
know
أَنَّ
that
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
بِ
of
مَا
what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
you do
بَصِير
The All-Seeing of
و
&
َٱلَّذِينَ
those who
يُتَوَفَّوۡنَ
are taken in death
مِن
among
كُمۡ
you
و
&
َيَذَرُونَ
leave behind
أَزۡوَٰجٗا
wives
يَتَرَبَّصۡنَ
they wait
بِ
by
أَنفُسِ
selves of
هِنَّ
their
أَرۡبَعَةَ
four
أَشۡهُر
months
و
&
َعَشۡرٗا
ten days
ف
then
َإِذَا
when
بَلَغۡنَ
they reach
أَجَلَ
term of
هُنَّ
their
ف
then
َلَا
no
جُنَاحَ
blame
عَلَيۡ
on
كُمۡ
you
فِ
for
يمَا
what
فَعَلۡنَ
they do
فِىٓ
with
أَنفُسِ
selves of
هِنَّ
their
بِ
in
ٱلۡ
the
مَعۡرُوفِ
fair
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
بِ
of
مَا
what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
you do
خَبِير
The Deeply Aware of
و
&
َلَا
no
جُنَاحَ
blame
عَلَيۡ
on
كُمۡ
you
فِ
for
يمَا
what
عَرَّضۡتُم
you hint
بِ
with
هِ
it
مِنۡ
of
خِطۡبَةِ
a proposal to
ٱل
the
نِّسَآءِ
women
أَوۡ
or
أَكۡنَنتُمۡ
you kept hidden
فِىٓ
in
أَنفُسِ
selves of
كُمۡ
your
عَلِمَ
knows
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
أَنَّ
that
كُمۡ
you
سَتَذۡكُرُونَ
you will think of
هُنَّ
them
و
&
َلَٰكِن
but
لَّا
not
تُوَاعِدُو
promise
هُنَّ
them
سِرًّا
in secret
إِلَّآ
unless
أَن
that
تَقُولُواْ
you say
قَوۡلٗا
words
مَّعۡرُوفٗا
proper
و
&
َلَا
do not
تَعۡزِمُواْ
settle
عُقۡدَةَ
contract of
ٱل
the
نِّكَاحِ
marriage
حَتَّىٰ
until
يَبۡلُغَ
reaches
ٱلۡ
the
كِتَٰبُ
prescribed time
أَجَلَ
term of
هُ
its
و
&
َٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ
know
أَنَّ
that
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
knows
مَا
what
فِىٓ
in
أَنفُسِ
selves of
كُمۡ
your
ف
so
َٱحۡذَرُو
beware of
هُ
Him
و
&
َٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ
know
أَنَّ
that
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
غَفُورٌ
The Vastly Forgiving
حَلِيم
The Ever-Forbearing
لَّا
no
جُنَاحَ
blame
عَلَيۡ
on
كُمۡ
you
إِن
if
طَلَّقۡتُمُ
you divorce
ٱل
the
نِّسَآءَ
women
مَا
before
لَمۡ
not
تَمَسُّو
you touch
هُنَّ
them
أَوۡ
or
تَفۡرِضُواْ
you set
لَ
for
هُنَّ
them
فَرِيضَة
a dowry
و
&
َمَتِّعُو
give to enjoy
هُنَّ
them
عَلَى
on
ٱلۡ
the
مُوسِعِ
wealthy
قَدَرُ
means of
هُ
his
و
&
َعَلَى
on
ٱلۡ
the
مُقۡتِرِ
poor
قَدَرُ
means of
هُ
his
مَتَٰعَۢا
a provision
بِ
in
ٱلۡ
the
مَعۡرُوفِ
fair
حَقًّا
a duty
عَلَى
on
ٱلۡ
the
مُحۡسِنِينَ
who do good
و
&
َإِن
if
طَلَّقۡتُمُو
you divorce
هُنَّ
them
مِن
from
قَبۡلِ
before
أَن
that
تَمَسُّو
you touch
هُنَّ
them
و
&
َقَدۡ
already
فَرَضۡتُمۡ
you set
لَ
for
هُنَّ
them
فَرِيضَة
an amount
ف
then
َنِصۡفُ
half
مَا
of what
فَرَضۡتُمۡ
you set
إِلَّآ
unless
أَن
that
يَعۡفُونَ
they waive
أَوۡ
or
يَعۡفُوَاْ
waives
ٱلَّذِى
the one
بِ
in
يَدِ
hand of
هِ
his
عُقۡدَةُ
contract of
ٱل
the
نِّكَاحِ
marriage
و
&
َأَن
that
تَعۡفُوٓاْ
you waive
أَقۡرَبُ
closer
لِل
to the
تَّقۡوَىٰ
mindfulness
و
&
َلَا
do not
تَنسَوُاْ
forget
ٱلۡ
the
فَضۡلَ
generosity
بَيۡنَ
between
كُمۡ
yourselves
إِنَّ
truly
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
بِ
of
مَا
what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
you do
بَصِيرٌ
The All-Seeing of
حَٰفِظُواْ
guard
عَلَى
over
ٱل
the
صَّلَوَٰتِ
prayers
و
&
َٱل
the
صَّلَوٰةِ
prayer
ٱلۡ
the
وُسۡطَىٰ
middle
و
&
َقُومُواْ
stand
لِ
before
لَّهِ
Allah
قَٰنِتِينَ
in devotion
ف
then
َإِنۡ
if
خِفۡتُمۡ
you fear
ف
then
َرِجَالًا
on foot
أَوۡ
or
رُكۡبَانٗا
riding
ف
then
َإِذَآ
when
أَمِنتُمۡ
you are safe
ف
then
َٱذۡكُرُواْ
remember
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
كَمَا
as
عَلَّمَ
He taught
كُم
you
مَّا
what
لَمۡ
not
تَكُونُواْ
you were
تَعۡلَمُونَ
knowing
و
&
َٱلَّذِينَ
those who
يُتَوَفَّوۡنَ
are taken in death
مِن
among
كُمۡ
you
و
&
َيَذَرُونَ
leave behind
أَزۡوَٰجٗا
wives
وَصِيَّة
a will
لِّ
for
أَزۡوَٰجِ
wives of
هِم
their
مَّتَٰعًا
provision
إِلَى
for
ٱلۡ
the
حَوۡلِ
year
غَيۡرَ
without
إِخۡرَاج
being made to leave
ف
then
َإِنۡ
if
خَرَجۡنَ
they leave
ف
then
َلَا
no
جُنَاحَ
blame
عَلَيۡ
on
كُمۡ
you
فِى
for
مَا
what
فَعَلۡنَ
they do
فِىٓ
with
أَنفُسِ
selves of
هِنَّ
their
مِن
in
مَّعۡرُوف
fairness
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
عَزِيزٌ
The Honoured Unmatchable Invincible
حَكِيم
The Perfectly Wise
و
&
َلِلۡ
for the
مُطَلَّقَٰتِ
divorced women
مَتَٰعُ
a provision
بِ
in
ٱلۡ
the
مَعۡرُوفِ
fair
حَقًّا
a duty
عَلَى
on
ٱلۡ
the
مُتَّقِينَ
mindful
كَذَٰلِكَ
in this way
يُبَيِّنُ
makes clear
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
لَ
to
كُمۡ
you
ءَايَٰتِ
verses of
هِ
His
لَعَلَّ
so that
كُمۡ
you
تَعۡقِلُونَ
you use your reason
أَ
have
لَمۡ
not
تَرَ
you seen
إِلَى
at
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
خَرَجُواْ
left
مِن
from
دِيَٰرِ
homes of
هِمۡ
their
و
&
َهُمۡ
they
أُلُوف
thousands
حَذَرَ
fearing
ٱلۡ
the
مَوۡتِ
death
ف
then
َقَالَ
said
لَ
to
هُمُ
them
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
مُوتُواْ
die
ثُمَّ
then
أَحۡيَٰ
He gave life to
هُمۡ
them
إِنَّ
truly
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
لَ
surely
ذُو
owner of
فَضۡل
bounty
عَلَى
to
ٱل
the
نَّاسِ
people
و
&
َلَٰكِنَّ
but
أَكۡثَرَ
most of
ٱل
the
نَّاسِ
people
لَا
not
يَشۡكُرُونَ
give thanks
و
&
َقَٰتِلُواْ
fight
فِى
in
سَبِيلِ
way of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
و
&
َٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ
know
أَنَّ
that
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
سَمِيعٌ
The All-Hearing
عَلِيم
The All-Knowing
مَّن
who
ذَا
is the one
ٱلَّذِى
who
يُقۡرِضُ
lends
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
قَرۡضًا
a loan
حَسَنٗا
good
ف
then
َيُضَٰعِفَ
He multiplies
هُ
it
لَ
for
هُ
him
أَضۡعَافٗا
times
كَثِيرَة
many
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
يَقۡبِضُ
holds back
و
&
َيَبۡصُطُ
gives freely
و
&
َإِلَيۡ
to
هِ
Him
تُرۡجَعُونَ
you will be returned
أَ
have
لَمۡ
not
تَرَ
you seen
إِلَى
at
ٱلۡ
the
مَلَإِ
leaders
مِن
of
بَنِىٓ
Children of
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
Israel
مِن
from
بَعۡدِ
after
مُوسَىٰٓ
Musa
إِذۡ
when
قَالُواْ
they said
لِ
to
نَبِىّ
a prophet
لَّ
of
هُمُ
theirs
ٱبۡعَثۡ
appoint
لَ
for
نَا
us
مَلِكٗا
a king
نُّقَٰتِلۡ
we will fight
فِى
in
سَبِيلِ
way of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
قَالَ
he said
هَلۡ
might
عَسَيۡتُمۡ
it be that you
إِن
if
كُتِبَ
is prescribed
عَلَيۡ
on
كُمُ
you
ٱلۡ
the
قِتَالُ
fighting
أَلَّا
not
تُقَٰتِلُواْ
you fight
قَالُواْ
they said
و
&
َمَا
why
لَ
for
نَآ
us
أَلَّا
not
نُقَٰتِلَ
we fight
فِى
in
سَبِيلِ
way of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
و
&
َقَدۡ
already
أُخۡرِجۡنَا
we have been driven
مِن
from
دِيَٰرِ
homes of
نَا
our
و
&
َأَبۡنَآئِنَا
our children
ف
then
َلَمَّا
when
كُتِبَ
was prescribed
عَلَيۡ
on
هِمُ
them
ٱلۡ
the
قِتَالُ
fighting
تَوَلَّوۡاْ
they turned away
إِلَّا
except
قَلِيلٗا
a few
مِّنۡ
of
هُمۡ
them
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
عَلِيمُ
The All-Knowing of
بِ
of
ٱل
the
ظَّٰلِمِينَ
wrongdoers
و
&
َقَالَ
said
لَ
to
هُمۡ
them
نَبِيُّ
prophet of
هُمۡ
their
إِنَّ
indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
قَدۡ
has
بَعَثَ
sent
لَ
for
كُمۡ
you
طَالُوتَ
Talut
مَلِكٗا
as king
قَالُوٓاْ
they said
أَنَّىٰ
how can
يَكُونُ
he have
لَ
for
هُ
him
ٱلۡ
the
مُلۡكُ
kingship
عَلَيۡ
over
نَا
us
و
&
َنَحۡنُ
we
أَحَقُّ
have a better right
بِ
to
ٱلۡ
the
مُلۡكِ
kingship
مِنۡ
than
هُ
he does
و
&
َلَمۡ
not
يُؤۡتَ
he has been given
سَعَةٗ
plenty
مِّنَ
of
ٱلۡ
the
مَالِ
wealth
قَالَ
he said
إِنَّ
indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
ٱصۡطَفَىٰ
chose
هُ
him
عَلَيۡ
over
كُمۡ
you
و
&
َزَادَ
gave more
هُ
him
بَسۡطَة
an increase
فِى
in
ٱلۡ
the
عِلۡمِ
knowledge
و
&
َٱلۡ
the
جِسۡمِ
body
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
يُؤۡتِى
gives
مُلۡكَ
kingship of
هُ
His
مَن
to whom
يَشَآءُ
He wills
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
وَٰسِعٌ
The All-Encompassing
عَلِيم
The All-Knowing
و
&
َقَالَ
said
لَ
to
هُمۡ
them
نَبِيُّ
prophet of
هُمۡ
their
إِنَّ
indeed
ءَايَةَ
sign of
مُلۡكِ
kingship of
هِ
his
أَن
that
يَأۡتِيَ
comes to
كُمُ
you
ٱل
the
تَّابُوتُ
chest
فِي
in
هِ
it
سَكِينَة
calm
مِّن
from
رَّبِّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
كُمۡ
your
و
&
َبَقِيَّة
what remains
مِّمَّا
of what
تَرَكَ
left
ءَالُ
family of
مُوسَىٰ
Musa
و
&
َءَالُ
family of
هَٰرُونَ
Harun
تَحۡمِلُ
carried by
هُ
it
ٱلۡ
the
مَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
angels
إِنَّ
indeed
فِى
in
ذَٰلِكَ
that
لَ
surely
أٓيَة
a sign
لَّ
for
كُمۡ
you
إِن
if
كُنتُم
you are
مُّؤۡمِنِينَ
believers
ف
then
َلَمَّا
when
فَصَلَ
set out
طَالُوتُ
Talut
بِ
with
ٱلۡ
the
جُنُودِ
forces
قَالَ
he said
إِنَّ
indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
مُبۡتَلِي
is testing
كُم
you
بِ
with
نَهَر
a river
فَ
so
مَن
whoever
شَرِبَ
drinks
مِنۡ
from
هُ
it
فَ
then
لَيۡسَ
he is not
مِنِّى
with me
و
&
َمَن
whoever
لَّمۡ
does not
يَطۡعَمۡ
tastes
هُ
it
فَ
then
إِنَّهُ
indeed he
مِنِّى
with me
إِلَّا
except
مَنِ
one who
ٱغۡتَرَفَ
scoops
غُرۡفَةَ
a handful
بِ
with
يَدِ
hand of
هِ
his
فَ
so
شَرِبُواْ
they drank
مِنۡ
from
هُ
it
إِلَّا
except
قَلِيلا
a few
مِّنۡ
of
هُمۡ
them
ف
then
َلَمَّا
when
جَاوَزَ
had crossed
هُ
it
هُوَ
he
و
&
َٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
believed
مَعَ
with
هُ
him
قَالُواْ
they said
لَا
no
طَاقَةَ
strength
لَ
for
نَا
us
ٱلۡيَوۡمَ
today
بِ
against
جَالُوتَ
Jalut
و
&
َجُنُودِ
forces of
هِ
his
قَالَ
said
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
يَظُنُّونَ
were sure
أَنَّ
that
هُم
they
مُّلَٰقُواْ
will meet
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
كَم
how many
مِّن
of
فِئَة
a force
قَلِيلَةٍ
small
غَلَبَتۡ
overcame
فِئَة
a force
كَثِيرَةَ
large
بِ
by
إِذۡنِ
leave of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
مَعَ
with
ٱلص
the
َّٰبِرِينَ
patient
و
&
َلَمَّا
when
بَرَزُواْ
they came out
لِ
to
جَالُوتَ
Jalut
و
&
َجُنُودِ
forces of
هِ
his
قَالُواْ
they said
رَبَّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
نَآ
our
أَفۡرِغۡ
pour
عَلَيۡ
over
نَا
us
صَبۡرا
patience
و
&
َثَبِّتۡ
make firm
أَقۡدَامَ
feet of
نَا
our
و
&
َٱنصُر
help
ۡنَا
us
عَلَى
against
ٱلۡ
the
قَوۡمِ
people
ٱلۡ
the
كَٰفِرِينَ
denying
فَ
so
هَزَمُو
they defeated
هُم
them
بِ
by
إِذۡنِ
leave of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
و
&
َقَتَلَ
killed
دَاوُدُ
Dawud
جَالُوتَ
Jalut
و
&
َءَاتَىٰ
gave
هُ
him
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
ٱلۡ
the
مُلۡكَ
kingship
و
&
َٱلۡ
the
حِكۡمَةَ
wisdom
و
&
َعَلَّمَ
taught
هُ
him
مِمَّا
of what
يَشَآءُ
He willed
و
&
َلَوۡلَا
if not for
دَفۡعُ
holding back of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
ٱل
the
نَّاسَ
people
بَعۡضَ
some of
هُم
them
بِ
with
بَعۡض
others
لّ
surely
َفَسَدَتِ
would be ruined
ٱلۡ
the
أَرۡضُ
earth
و
&
َلَٰكِنَّ
but
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
ذُو
full of
فَضۡلٍ
bounty
عَلَى
to
ٱلۡ
the
عَٰلَمِينَ
worlds
تِلۡكَ
these are
ءَايَٰتُ
verses of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
نَتۡلُو
We recite
هَا
them
عَلَيۡ
to
كَ
you
بِ
with
ٱلۡ
the
حَقِّ
truth
و
&
َإِنَّ
indeed
كَ
you
لَ
surely
مِنَ
among
ٱلۡ
the
مُرۡسَلِينَ
messengers
تِلۡكَ
those
ٱل
the
رُّسُلُ
messengers
فَ
&
ضَّلۡنَا
We raised
بَعۡضَ
some of
هُمۡ
them
عَلَىٰ
above
بَعۡض
others
مِّنۡ
among
هُم
them
مَّن
one who
كَلَّمَ
spoke to
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
و
&
َرَفَعَ
He raised
بَعۡضَ
some of
هُمۡ
them
دَرَجَٰت
in ranks
و
&
َءَاتَيۡنَا
We gave
عِيسَى
Isa
ٱبۡنَ
son of
مَرۡيَمَ
Maryam
ٱلۡ
the
بَيِّنَٰتِ
clear proofs
و
&
َأَيَّدۡنَٰ
supported
هُ
him
بِ
with
رُوحِ
spirit of
ٱلۡ
the
قُدُسِ
holy
و
&
َلَوۡ
if
شَآءَ
willed
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
مَا
not
ٱقۡتَتَلَ
would have fought
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
مِن
from
بَعۡدِ
after
هِم
them
مِّن
from
بَعۡدِ
after
مَا
what
جَآءَتۡ
came to
هُمُ
them
ٱلۡ
the
بَيِّنَٰتُ
clear proofs
و
&
َلَٰكِنِ
but
ٱخۡتَلَفُواْ
they differed
فَ
so
مِنۡ
among
هُم
them
مَّنۡ
one who
ءَامَنَ
believed
و
&
َمِنۡ
among
هُم
them
مَّن
one who
كَفَرَ
denied
و
&
َلَوۡ
if
شَآءَ
willed
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
مَا
not
ٱقۡتَتَلُواْ
they would have fought
و
&
َلَٰكِنَّ
but
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
يَفۡعَلُ
does
مَا
what
يُرِيدُ
He wills
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
O
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
believed
أَنفِقُواْ
spend
مِمَّا
from what
رَزَقۡنَٰ
We have provided
كُم
you
مِّن
from
قَبۡلِ
before
أَن
that
يَأۡتِىَ
comes
يَوۡم
a day
لَّا
no
بَيۡع
trading
فِي
in
هِ
it
و
&
َلَا
no
خُلَّة
close friendship
و
&
َلَا
no
شَفَٰعَة
intercession
وَ
&
ٱلۡ
the
كَٰفِرُونَ
deniers
هُمُ
they
ٱل
the
ظَّٰلِمُونَ
wrongdoers
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
لَا
no
إِلَٰهَ
deity
إِلَّا
except
هُوَ
Him
ٱلۡحَىُّ
The Ever-Living
ٱلۡقَيُّومُ
The Self-Sustaining Sustainer
لَا
not
تَأۡخُذُ
takes
هُ
Him
سِنَة
drowsiness
و
&
َلَا
nor
نَوۡم
sleep
لَّ
to
هُ
Him
مَا
what
فِى
in
ٱل
the
سَّمَٰوَٰتِ
heavens
و
&
َمَا
what
فِى
in
ٱلۡ
the
أَرۡضِ
earth
مَن
who
ذَا
is it
ٱلَّذِى
that
يَشۡفَعُ
can intercede
عِندَ
with
هُ
Him
إِلَّا
except
بِ
by
إِذۡنِ
leave of
هِ
His
يَعۡلَمُ
He knows
مَا
what
بَيۡنَ
before
أَيۡدِي
hands of
هِمۡ
their
و
&
َمَا
what
خَلۡفَ
behind
هُمۡ
them
و
&
َلَا
not
يُحِيطُونَ
they grasp
بِ
with
شَىۡء
anything
مِّنۡ
of
عِلۡمِ
knowledge of
هِ
His
إِلَّا
except
بِ
with
مَا
what
شَآءَ
He wills
وَسِعَ
extends over
كُرۡسِيُّ
Seat of
هُ
His
ٱل
the
سَّمَٰوَٰتِ
heavens
وَ
&
ٱلۡ
the
أَرۡضَ
earth
و
&
َلَا
not
يَـُٔودُ
tires
هُ
Him
حِفۡظُ
guarding
هُمَا
them both
و
&
َهُوَ
He
ٱلۡعَلِىُّ
The Supremely Exalted
ٱلۡعَظِيمُ
The Magnificent
لَا
no
إِكۡرَاهَ
compulsion
فِى
in
ٱل
the
دِّينِ
way of life
قَد
has
تَّبَيَّنَ
become clear
ٱل
the
رُّشۡدُ
right path
مِنَ
from
ٱلۡ
the
غَىِّ
wrong
فَ
so
مَن
whoever
يَكۡفُرۡ
rejects
بِ
in
ٱل
the
طَّٰغُوتِ
false powers
و
&
َيُؤۡمِن
believes
بِ
in
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
فَ
then
قَدِ
has
ٱسۡتَمۡسَكَ
grasped
بِ
with
ٱلۡ
the
عُرۡوَةِ
handle
ٱلۡ
the
وُثۡقَىٰ
firmest
لَا
no
ٱنفِصَامَ
breaking
لَ
for
هَا
it
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
سَمِيعٌ
The All-Hearing
عَلِيمٌ
The All-Knowing
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
وَلِىُّ
protector of
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
believe
يُخۡرِجُ
He takes out
هُم
them
مِّنَ
from
ٱل
the
ظُّلُمَٰتِ
darkness
إِلَى
into
ٱل
the
نُّورِ
light
و
&
َٱلَّذِينَ
those who
كَفَرُواْ
disbelieve
أَوۡلِيَآؤُ
protectors of
هُمُ
their
ٱل
the
طَّٰغُوتُ
false powers
يُخۡرِجُونَ
they take out
هُم
them
مِّنَ
from
ٱل
the
نُّورِ
light
إِلَى
into
ٱل
the
ظُّلُمَٰتِ
darkness
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
those are
أَصۡحَٰبُ
people of
ٱل
the
نَّارِ
Fire
هُمۡ
they
فِي
in
هَا
it
خَٰلِدُونَ
abiding forever
أَلَمۡ
did not
تَرَ
you see
إِلَى
at
ٱلَّذِى
the one who
حَآجَّ
argued with
إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمَ
Ibrahim
فِى
about
رَبِّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
هِ
his
أَنۡ
because
ءَاتَىٰ
had given
هُ
him
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
ٱلۡ
the
مُلۡكَ
kingship
إِذۡ
when
قَالَ
said
إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمُ
Ibrahim
رَبِّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
ىَ
My
ٱلَّذِى
the One who
يُحۡىِ
gives life
و
&
َيُمِيتُ
causes death
قَالَ
he said
أَنَا
I
أُحۡىِ
give life
و
&
َأُمِيتُ
cause death
قَالَ
said
إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمُ
Ibrahim
فَ
then
إِنَّ
indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
يَأۡتِى
brings
بِ
with
ٱل
the
شَّمۡسِ
sun
مِنَ
from
ٱلۡ
the
مَشۡرِقِ
east
فَ
so
أۡتِ
bring
بِ
with
هَا
it
مِنَ
from
ٱلۡ
the
مَغۡرِبِ
west
فَ
so
بُهِتَ
was stunned
ٱلَّذِى
the one who
كَفَرَ
disbelieved
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
لَا
not
يَهۡدِى
guides
ٱلۡ
the
قَوۡمَ
people
ٱل
the
ظَّٰلِمِينَ
wrongdoing
أَوۡ
or
كَ
like
ٱلَّذِى
the one who
مَرَّ
passed
عَلَىٰ
by
قَرۡيَة
a town
و
&
َهِىَ
it
خَاوِيَةٌ
fallen in ruins
عَلَىٰ
on
عُرُوشِ
roofs of
هَا
its
قَالَ
he said
أَنَّىٰ
how
يُحۡىِ
will bring to life
هَٰذِهِ
this
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
بَعۡدَ
after
مَوۡتِ
death of
هَا
its
فَ
so
أَمَاتَ
made die
هُ
him
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
مِاْئَةَ
a hundred
عَام
years
ثُمَّ
then
بَعَثَ
raised
هُ
him
قَالَ
He said
كَمۡ
how long
لَبِثۡتَ
did you stay
قَالَ
he said
لَبِثۡتُ
I stayed
يَوۡمًا
a day
أَوۡ
or
بَعۡضَ
part of
يَوۡم
a day
قَالَ
He said
بَل
no
لّ
surely
َبِثۡتَ
you stayed
مِاْئَةَ
a hundred
عَام
years
فَ
so
ٱنظُرۡ
look
إِلَىٰ
at
طَعَامِ
food of
كَ
your
و
&
َشَرَابِ
drink of
كَ
your
لَمۡ
not
يَتَسَنَّهۡ
spoiled
و
&
َٱنظُرۡ
look
إِلَىٰ
at
حِمَارِ
donkey of
كَ
your
و
&
َلِنَجۡعَلَ
We will make
كَ
you
ءَايَة
a sign
لِّ
for
لنَّاسِ
the people
و
&
َٱنظُرۡ
look
إِلَى
at
ٱلۡ
the
عِظَامِ
bones
كَيۡفَ
how
نُنشِزُ
We raise
هَا
them
ثُمَّ
then
نَكۡسُو
cover
هَا
them
لَحۡما
with flesh
ف
then
َلَمَّا
when
تَبَيَّنَ
it became clear
لَ
to
هُ
him
قَالَ
he said
أَعۡلَمُ
I know
أَنَّ
that
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
عَلَىٰ
over
كُلِّ
every
شَىۡء
thing
قَدِير
All-Powerful
و
&
َإِذۡ
when
قَالَ
said
إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمُ
Ibrahim
رَبِّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
أَرِ
show
نِى
me
كَيۡفَ
how
تُحۡىِ
You give life to
ٱلۡ
the
مَوۡتَىٰ
dead
قَالَ
He said
أَوَ
do
لَمۡ
not
تُؤۡمِن
you believe
قَالَ
he said
بَلَىٰ
yes
و
&
َلَٰكِن
but
لِّ
so that
يَطۡمَئِنَّ
may be at ease
قَلۡبِ
heart of
ى
my
قَالَ
He said
فَ
then
خُذۡ
take
أَرۡبَعَة
four
مِّنَ
of
ٱل
the
طَّيۡرِ
birds
فَ
then
صُرۡ
bring close
هُنَّ
them
إِلَيۡ
to
كَ
you
ثُمَّ
then
ٱجۡعَلۡ
put
عَلَىٰ
on
كُلِّ
each
جَبَل
hill
مِّنۡ
of
هُنَّ
them
جُزۡءا
a part
ثُمَّ
then
ٱدۡعُ
call
هُنَّ
them
يَأۡتِينَ
they will come to
كَ
you
سَعۡيا
hurrying
و
&
َٱعۡلَمۡ
know
أَنَّ
that
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
عَزِيزٌ
The Honoured Unmatchable Invincible
حَكِيم
The Perfectly Wise
مَّثَلُ
example of
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
يُنفِقُونَ
spend
أَمۡوَٰلَ
wealth of
هُمۡ
their
فِى
in
سَبِيلِ
way of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
كَ
like
مَثَلِ
example of
حَبَّةٍ
a grain
أَنبَتَتۡ
grew
سَبۡعَ
seven
سَنَابِلَ
ears
فِى
in
كُلِّ
each
سُنبُلَة
ear
مِّاْئَةُ
a hundred
حَبَّة
grains
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
يُضَٰعِفُ
multiplies
لِ
for
مَن
whom
يَشَآءُ
He wills
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
وَٰسِعٌ
The All-Encompassing
عَلِيمٌ
The All-Knowing
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
يُنفِقُونَ
spend
أَمۡوَٰلَ
wealth of
هُمۡ
their
فِى
in
سَبِيلِ
way of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
ثُمَّ
then
لَا
not
يُتۡبِعُونَ
they follow
مَا
what
أَنفَقُواْ
they spent
مَنّا
reminders of favour
و
&
َلَا
nor
أَذى
hurt
لَّ
for
هُمۡ
them
أَجۡرُ
reward of
هُمۡ
their
عِندَ
with
رَبِّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
هِمۡ
their
و
&
َلَا
no
خَوۡفٌ
fear
عَلَيۡ
on
هِمۡ
them
و
&
َلَا
nor
هُمۡ
they
يَحۡزَنُونَ
will grieve
قَوۡل
a word
مَّعۡرُوف
kind
و
&
َمَغۡفِرَةٌ
forgiveness
خَيۡر
better
مِّن
than
صَدَقَة
charity
يَتۡبَعُ
followed by
هَا
it
أَذى
hurt
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
غَنِىٌّ
The Self-Sufficient
حَلِيم
The Ever-Forbearing
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
O
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
believed
لَا
do not
تُبۡطِلُواْ
cancel
صَدَقَٰتِ
charity of
كُم
your
بِ
with
ٱلۡ
the
مَنِّ
reminders
وَ
&
ٱلۡ
the
أَذَىٰ
hurt
كَ
like
ٱلَّذِى
one who
يُنفِقُ
spends
مَالَ
money of
هُ
his
رِئَاءَ
to be seen by
ٱل
the
نَّاسِ
people
و
&
َلَا
not
يُؤۡمِنُ
believe
بِ
in
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
وَ
&
ٱلۡ
the
يَوۡمِ
day
ٱلۡ
the
أٓخِرِ
Last
فَ
so
مَثَلُ
example of
هُ
his
كَ
like
مَثَلِ
example of
صَفۡوَانٍ
a smooth rock
عَلَيۡ
on
هِ
it
تُرَاب
soil
فَ
then
أَصَابَ
hits
هُ
it
وَابِل
a heavy rain
فَ
then
تَرَكَ
leaves
هُ
it
صَلۡدا
bare
لَّا
not
يَقۡدِرُونَ
they have power
عَلَىٰ
over
شَىۡء
anything
مِّمَّا
of what
كَسَبُواْ
they earned
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
لَا
not
يَهۡدِى
guides
ٱلۡ
the
قَوۡمَ
people
ٱلۡ
the
كَٰفِرِينَ
unbelieving
و
&
َمَثَلُ
example of
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
يُنفِقُونَ
spend
أَمۡوَٰلَ
wealth of
هُمُ
their
ٱبۡتِغَاءَ
to seek
مَرۡضَاتِ
pleasure of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
و
&
َتَثۡبِيتا
making firm
مِّنۡ
of
أَنفُسِ
souls of
هِمۡ
their
كَ
like
مَثَلِ
example of
جَنَّةِ
a garden
بِ
on
رَبۡوَةٍ
high ground
أَصَابَ
hits
هَا
it
وَابِل
a heavy rain
فَ
then
ـَٔاتَتۡ
gave
أُكُلَ
harvest of
هَا
its
ضِعۡفَيۡنِ
double
فَ
then
إِن
if
لَّمۡ
not
يُصِبۡ
hits
هَا
it
وَابِل
a heavy rain
فَ
then
طَلّ
a light rain
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
بِ
of
مَا
what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
you do
بَصِيرٌ
The All-Seeing of
أَيَوَدُّ
would like
أَحَدُ
one of
كُمۡ
you
أَن
that
تَكُونَ
he has
لَ
for
هُ
him
جَنَّة
a garden
مِّن
of
نَّخِيل
date palms
و
&
َأَعۡنَاب
grapevines
تَجۡرِى
flowing
مِن
from
تَحۡتِ
beneath
هَا
it
ٱلۡ
the
أَنۡهَٰرُ
rivers
لَ
for
هُ
him
فِي
in
هَا
it
مِن
of
كُلِّ
all
ٱل
the
ثَّمَرَٰتِ
fruits
و
&
َأَصَابَ
strikes
هُ
him
ٱلۡ
the
كِبَرُ
old age
وَ
&
لَهُ
his
ذُرِّيَّة
children
ضُعَفَاءُ
weak
فَ
then
أَصَابَه
hits
َا
it
إِعۡصَار
a whirlwind
فِي
in
هِ
it
نَار
fire
فَ
so
ٱحۡتَرَقَتۡ
it burned
كَذَٰلِكَ
that is how
يُبَيِّنُ
makes clear
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
لَ
for
كُمُ
you
ٱلۡ
the
أٓيَٰتِ
verses
لَعَلَّ
so that
كُمۡ
you
تَتَفَكَّرُونَ
may think
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
O
ٱلَّذِينَ
who
ءَامَنُوٓا
believe
أَنفِقُوا
spend
مِن
from
طَيِّبَٰتِ
good things
مَا
of
كَسَبۡتُم
you earned
و
&
َمِمَّآ
of what
أَخۡرَجۡنَا
We brought out
لَكُم
for you
مِّنَ
of
ٱلۡ
the
أَرۡضِ
earth
و
&
َلَا
not
تَيَمَّمُوا
aim at
ٱلۡ
the
خَبِيثَ
bad part
مِن
from
ۡهُ
it
تُنفِقُونَ
to spend
و
&
َلَسۡتُم
you would not
بِـَٔاخِذِيه
take
ِ
it
إِلَّآ
except
أَن
that
تُغۡمِضُوا
you closed your eyes
فِي
in
هِ
it
و
&
َٱعۡلَمُوٓا
know
أَنَّ
that
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
غَنِىٌّ
The Self-Sufficient
حَمِيدٌ
The Most Praiseworthy
ٱل
the
شَّيۡطَٰنُ
Shaytan
يَعِدُ
threatens
كُمُ
you
ٱلۡفَقۡرَ
poverty
و
&
َيَأۡمُر
orders
ُكُم
you
ب
with
ِٱلۡفَحۡشَآءِ
shameful things
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
يَعِدُ
promises
كُم
you
مَّغۡفِرَةٗ
forgiveness
مِّن
from
ۡهُ
Him
و
&
َفَضۡلٗا
bounty
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
وَٰسِعٌ
The All-Encompassing
عَلِيم
The All-Knowing
يُؤۡتِى
gives
ٱلۡ
the
حِكۡمَةَ
wisdom
مَن
whom
يَشَآءُ
He wills
و
&
َمَن
whoever
يُؤۡتَ
is given
ٱلۡ
the
حِكۡمَةَ
wisdom
فَ
so
قَدۡ
has
أُوتِىَ
been given
خَيۡرٗا
good
كَثِيرٗا
much
و
&
َمَا
not
يَذَّكَّرُ
takes heed
إِلَّآ
except
أُوْلُواْ
people of
ٱلۡ
the
أَلۡبَٰبِ
understanding
و
&
َمَآ
whatever
أَنفَقۡتُم
you spend
مِّن
of
نَّفَقَةٍ
a spending
أَوۡ
or
نَذَرۡتُم
you vow
مِّن
of
نَّذۡر
a vow
فَ
then
إِنَّ
indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
knows
هُۥ
it
و
&
َمَا
not
ل
for
ِلظَّٰلِمِينَ
the wrongdoers
مِنۡ
any
أَنصَارٍ
helpers
إِن
if
تُبۡدُوا
you give openly
ٱلص
the
َّدَقَٰتِ
charity
فَ
then
نِعِمَّا
good
هِىَ
it is
و
&
َإِن
if
تُخۡفُو
you hide
هَا
it
و
&
َتُؤۡتُ
give
وهَا
it
ٱلۡ
the
فُقَرَآءَ
poor
فَ
then
هُوَ
it is
خَيۡرٞ
better
لَّ
for
كُمۡ
you
و
&
َيُكَفِّرُ
He will wipe away
عَن
from
كُم
you
مِّن
some of
سَيِّـَٔاتِ
bad deeds of
كُمۡ
your
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
بِ
of
مَا
what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
you do
خَبِير
The Deeply Aware
لَّيۡسَ
not
عَلَي
on
ۡكَ
you
هُدَىٰ
guidance of
هُمۡ
their
و
&
َلَٰكِنَّ
but
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
يَهۡدِى
guides
مَن
whom
يَشَآءُ
He wills
و
&
َمَا
whatever
تُنفِقُوا
you spend
مِنۡ
of
خَيۡرٖ
good
فَ
then
لِأ
for
َنفُسِ
own souls of
كُمۡ
your
و
&
َمَا
not
تُنفِقُونَ
you spend
إِلَّا
except
ٱبۡتِغَاءَ
to seek
وَجۡهِ
face of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
و
&
َمَا
whatever
تُنفِقُوا
you spend
مِنۡ
of
خَيۡرٖ
good
يُوَفَّ
will be repaid in full
إِلَي
to
ۡكُمۡ
you
و
&
َأَنتُمۡ
you
لَا
not
تُظۡلَمُونَ
will be wronged
لِ
for
لۡفُقَرَآءِ
the poor
ٱلَّذِينَ
who
أُحۡصِرُوا
are held back
فِى
in
سَبِيلِ
way of
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
لَا
not
يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ
can
ضَرۡبٗا
travel about
فِى
in
ٱلۡ
the
أَرۡضِ
land
يَحۡسَبُ
thinks
هُمُ
them
ٱلۡ
the
جَاهِلُ
ignorant
أَغۡنِيَآءَ
rich
مِنَ
because of
ٱل
the
تَّعَفُّفِ
holding back from asking
تَعۡرِفُ
you know
هُم
them
ب
by
ِسِيمَٰ
look of
هُمۡ
their
لَا
not
يَسۡـَٔلُونَ
beg
ٱل
the
نَّاسَ
people
إِلۡحَافٗا
persistently
و
&
َمَا
whatever
تُنفِقُوا
you spend
مِنۡ
of
خَيۡرٖ
good
فَ
then
إِنَّ
indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
بِ
of
هِ
it
عَلِيمٌ
The All-Knowing
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
يُنفِقُونَ
spend
أَمۡوَٰلَ
wealth of
هُم
their
بِ
by
ٱلَّيۡلِ
the night
و
&
َٱلنَّهَارِ
the day
سِرّٗا
secretly
و
&
َعَلَانِيَةٗ
openly
فَ
then
لَ
for
هُمۡ
their
أَجۡرُ
reward of
هُمۡ
their
عِندَ
with
رَبِّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
هِمۡ
their
و
&
َلَا
no
خَوۡفٌ
fear
عَلَي
on
ۡهِمۡ
them
و
&
َلَا
nor
هُمۡ
they
يَحۡزَنُونَ
will grieve
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
يَأۡكُلُونَ
live off
ٱلرِّبَوٰا
interest
لَا
not
يَقُومُونَ
will stand up
إِلَّا
except
كَمَا
like
يَقُومُ
stands up
ٱلَّذِى
one whom
يَتَخَبَّطُ
strikes with madness
هُ
him
ٱل
the
شَّيۡطَٰنُ
Shaytan
مِنَ
by
ٱلۡ
the
مَسِّ
touch
ذَٰلِكَ
that is
بِأَنَّ
because
هُمۡ
they
قَالُوٓا
said
إِنَّمَا
just
ٱلۡ
the
بَيۡعُ
trade
مِثۡلُ
like
ٱلرِّبَوٰا
interest
و
&
َأَحَلَّ
has made lawful
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
ٱلۡ
the
بَيۡعَ
trade
و
&
َحَرَّمَ
made forbidden
ٱلرِّبَوٰا
interest
فَ
then
مَن
whoever
جَآءَ
comes to
هُ
him
مَوۡعِظَة
advice
مِّن
from
رَّبِّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
هِ
his
فَ
then
ٱنتَهَىٰ
stops
فَ
then
لَ
for
هُ
him
مَا
what
سَلَفَ
passed before
و
&
َأَمۡرُ
case of
هُ
his
إِلَى
to
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
و
&
َمَنۡ
whoever
عَادَ
returns
فَ
then
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
those
أَصۡحَٰبُ
people of
ٱل
the
نَّارِ
Fire
هُمۡ
they
فِي
in
هَا
it
خَٰلِدُونَ
abiding forever
يَمۡحَقُ
wipes out
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
ٱلرِّبَوٰا
interest
و
&
َيُرۡبِى
makes grow
ٱلص
the
َّدَقَٰتِ
charity
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
لَا
not
يُحِبُّ
loves
كُلَّ
every
كَفَّارٍ
denier
أَثِيمٍ
sinful
إِنَّ
indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ءَامَنُوا
believe
و
&
َعَمِلُوا
do
ٱل
the
صَّٰلِحَٰتِ
good deeds
و
&
َأَقَامُوا
establish
ٱل
the
صَّلَوٰةَ
prayer
و
&
َءَاتَوُا
give
ٱل
the
زَّكَوٰةَ
zakah
لَ
for
هُمۡ
them
أَجۡرُ
reward of
هُمۡ
their
عِندَ
with
رَبِّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
هِمۡ
their
و
&
َلَا
no
خَوۡفٌ
fear
عَلَي
on
ۡهِمۡ
them
و
&
َلَا
nor
هُمۡ
they
يَحۡزَنُونَ
will grieve
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
O
ٱلَّذِينَ
who
ءَامَنُوا
believe
ٱتَّقُوا
be mindful of
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
و
&
َذَرُوا
give up
مَا
what
بَقِىَ
remains
مِنَ
of
ٱلرِّبَوٰٓا
interest
إِن
if
كُنتُم
you are
مُّؤۡمِنِينَ
believers
فَ
then
إِن
if
لَّمۡ
not
تَفۡعَلُوا
you do
فَ
then
أۡذَنُوا
be warned of
ب
of
ِحَرۡب
war
مِّنَ
from
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
و
&
َرَسُولِ
messenger of
هِ
His
و
&
َإِن
if
تُبۡتُمۡ
you repent
فَ
then
لَ
for
كُمۡ
you
رُءُوسُ
original sums of
أَمۡوَٰلِ
wealth of
كُمۡ
your
لَا
not
تَظۡلِمُونَ
you wrong
و
&
َلَا
nor
تُظۡلَمُونَ
are you wronged
و
&
َإِن
if
كَانَ
is
ذُو
someone in
عُسۡرَة
hardship
فَ
then
نَظِرَةٌ
a wait
إِلَىٰ
until
مَيۡسَرَة
ease
و
&
َأَن
that
تَصَدَّقُوا
you give as charity
خَيۡرٞ
better
لَّ
for
كُمۡ
you
إِن
if
كُنتُمۡ
you
تَعۡلَمُونَ
know
و
&
َٱتَّقُوا
be mindful of
يَوۡمٗا
a day
تُرۡجَعُونَ
you will be returned
فِي
in
هِ
it
إِلَى
to
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
ثُمَّ
then
تُوَفَّىٰ
will be paid in full
كُلُّ
every
نَفۡس
soul
مَّا
what
كَسَبَتۡ
it earned
و
&
َهُمۡ
they
لَا
not
يُظۡلَمُونَ
will be wronged
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
O
ٱلَّذِينَ
who
ءَامَنُوٓا
believe
إِذَا
when
تَدَايَنتُم
you take on
بِدَيۡنٍ
a debt
إِلَىٰٓ
for
أَجَل
time
مُّسَمّٗى
set
فَ
then
ٱكۡتُبُو
write down
هُ
it
و
&
َل
let
ۡيَكۡتُب
write
بَّيۡنَ
between
كُمۡ
you
كَاتِبُ
a writer
بِ
with
ٱلۡعَدۡلِ
fairness
و
&
َلَا
not
يَأۡبَ
refuse
كَاتِبٌ
a writer
أَن
that
يَكۡتُبَ
write
كَمَا
as
عَلَّمَ
taught
هُ
him
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
فَ
then
لۡ
let him
يَكۡتُبۡ
write
و
&
َل
let
ۡيُمۡلِلِ
dictate
ٱلَّذِى
the one
عَلَيۡ
on
هِ
him
ٱلۡ
the
حَقُّ
debt
و
&
َل
let him
ۡيَتَّقِ
be mindful of
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
رَبَّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
هُ
his
و
&
َلَا
not
يَبۡخَسۡ
reduce
مِن
of
ۡهُ
it
شَيۡـٔٗا
anything
فَ
then
إِن
if
كَانَ
is
ٱلَّذِى
the one
عَلَيۡ
on
هِ
him
ٱلۡ
the
حَقُّ
debt
سَفِيهًا
weak in mind
أَوۡ
or
ضَعِيفًا
weak in body
أَوۡ
or
لَا
not
يَسۡتَطِيعُ
can
أَن
that
يُمِلَّ
dictate
هُوَ
himself
فَ
then
لۡ
let
يُمۡلِلۡ
dictate
و
&
َلِيُّ
guardian of
هُ
his
بِ
with
ٱلۡعَدۡلِ
fairness
و
&
َٱسۡتَشۡهِدُوا
get as witnesses
شَهِيدَيۡنِ
two witnesses
مِن
of
رِّجَالِ
men of
كُمۡ
your
فَ
then
إِن
if
لَّمۡ
not
يَكُونَا
there are
رَجُلَيۡنِ
two men
فَ
then
رَجُل
one man
و
&
َٱمۡرَأَتَانِ
two women
مِمَّن
whom
تَرۡضَوۡنَ
you accept
مِنَ
of
ٱل
the
شُّهَدَآءِ
witnesses
أَن
that
تَضِلَّ
forgets
إِحۡدَىٰ
one of
هُمَا
them
فَ
then
تُذَكِّرَ
reminds
إِحۡدَىٰ
one of
هُمَا
them
ٱلۡ
the
أُخۡرَىٰ
other
و
&
َلَا
not
يَأۡبَ
refuse
ٱل
the
شُّهَدَآءُ
witnesses
إِذَا
when
مَا
دُعُوا
called
و
&
َلَا
not
تَسۡـَٔمُوٓا
be too lazy
أَن
that
تَكۡتُبُ
you write down
وهُ
it
صَغِيرًا
small
أَوۡ
or
كَبِيرًا
large
إِلَىٰٓ
with
أَجَلِ
time of
هِ
its
ذَٰلِكُمۡ
that
أَقۡسَطُ
fairer
عِندَ
with
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
و
&
َأَقۡوَمُ
firmer
لِ
for
لشَّهَٰدَةِ
the testimony
و
&
َأَدۡنَىٰٓ
less likely
أَلَّا
that not
تَرۡتَابُوٓا
you doubt
إِلَّآ
except
أَن
that
تَكُونَ
it is
تِجَٰرَةً
a trade
حَاضِرَة
in hand
تُدِيرُونَ
you carry out
هَا
it
بَيۡنَ
between
كُمۡ
you
فَ
then
لَيۡسَ
no
عَلَيۡ
on
كُمۡ
you
جُنَاحٌ
blame
أَلَّا
that not
تَكۡتُبُ
you write down
وهَا
it
و
&
َأَشۡهِدُوٓا
have witnesses
إِذَا
when
تَبَايَعۡتُم
you trade
و
&
َلَا
not
يُضَآرَّ
be harmed
كَاتِب
a writer
و
&
َلَا
nor
شَهِيد
a witness
و
&
َإِن
if
تَفۡعَلُوا
you do
فَ
then
إِنَّ
indeed
هُ
it
فُسُوقُ
wrongdoing
بِ
on
كُمۡ
your part
و
&
َٱتَّقُوا
be mindful of
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
و
&
َيُعَلِّمُ
teaches
كُمُ
you
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
بِ
of
كُلِّ
every
شَىۡءٍ
thing
عَلِيم
The All-Knowing
و
&
َإِن
if
كُنتُمۡ
you are
عَلَىٰ
on
سَفَر
a journey
و
&
َلَمۡ
not
تَجِدُوا
find
كَاتِبٗا
a writer
فَ
then
رِهَٰن
a pledge
مَّقۡبُوضَة
taken in hand
فَ
then
إِنۡ
if
أَمِنَ
trusts
بَعۡضُ
one of
كُم
you
بَعۡضٗا
another
فَ
then
لۡ
let
يُؤَدِّ
hand back
ٱلَّذِى
the one
ٱؤۡتُمِنَ
was trusted
أَمَٰنَتَ
trust of
هُ
his
و
&
َل
let him
ۡيَتَّقِ
be mindful of
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
رَبَّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
هُ
his
و
&
َلَا
not
تَكۡتُمُوا
hide
ٱل
the
شَّهَٰدَةَ
testimony
و
&
َمَن
whoever
يَكۡتُمۡ
hides
هَا
it
فَ
then
إِنَّ
indeed
هُ
his
ءَاثِم
sinful
قَلۡبُ
heart of
هُ
his
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
بِ
of
مَا
what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
you do
عَلِيم
The All-Knowing
لّ
to
ِلَّهِ
Allah
مَا
what
فِى
in
ٱل
the
سَّمَٰوَٰتِ
heavens
و
&
َمَا
what
فِى
in
ٱلۡ
the
أَرۡضِ
earth
و
&
َإِن
if
تُبۡدُوا
you show
مَا
what
فِىٓ
in
أَنفُسِ
souls of
كُمۡ
your
أَوۡ
or
تُخۡفُو
you hide
هُ
it
يُحَاسِبۡ
will hold to account
كُم
you
بِ
for
هِ
it
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
فَ
then
يَغۡفِرُ
He forgives
لِ
for
مَن
whom
يَشَآءُ
He wills
و
&
َيُعَذِّبُ
punishes
مَن
whom
يَشَآءُ
He wills
و
&
َٱللَّهُ
Allah
عَلَىٰ
over
كُلِّ
every
شَىۡء
thing
قَدِيرٌ
All-Powerful
ءَامَنَ
believes
ٱلر
the
َّسُولُ
messenger
بِ
in
مَآ
what
أُنزِلَ
was sent down
إِل
to
َيۡهِ
him
مِن
from
رَّبِّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
هِۦ
his
و
&
َٱ
the
لۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ
believers
كُلٌّ
each one
ءَامَنَ
believes
بِ
in
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
و
&
َمَلَٰٓئِكَتِ
angels of
هِۦ
His
و
&
َكُتُبِ
books of
هِۦ
His
و
&
َرُسُلِ
messengers of
هِۦ
His
لَا
not
نُفَرِّقُ
We make difference
بَيۡنَ
between
أَحَدٖ
any one
مِّن
of
رُّسُلِ
messengers of
هِۦ
His
و
&
َقَالُواْ
they say
سَمِعۡ
hear
نَا
we
و
&
َأَطَعۡ
obey
نَا
we
غُفۡرَان
forgiveness
َكَ
Your
رَبَّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
نَا
our
وَ
&
إِلَ
to
يۡكَ
You
ٱلۡ
the
مَصِيرُ
final return
لَا
not
يُكَلِّفُ
burdens
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
نَفۡسًا
a soul
إِلَّا
except
وُسۡعَ
capacity of
هَا
its
لَ
for
هَا
it
مَا
what
كَسَبَتۡ
it earned
وَ
&
عَلَيۡ
on
هَا
it
مَا
what
ٱكۡتَسَبَتۡ
it earned
رَبَّ

our
لَا
not
تُؤَاخِذۡ
hold to account
نَآ
us
إِن
if
نَّسِينَآ
we forget
أَوۡ
or
أَخۡطَأۡنَا
we make a mistake
رَبَّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
نَا
our
وَ
&
لَا
not
تَحۡمِلۡ
place
عَلَيۡ
on
نَآ
us
إِصۡرٗا
a burden
كَمَا
as
حَمَلۡتَ
You placed
هُۥ
it
عَلَى
on
ٱلَّذِينَ
those
مِن
from
قَبۡلِ
before
نَا
us
رَبَّ
Nurturing Sustaining Owner
نَا
our
وَ
&
لَا
not
تُحَمِّلۡ
make carry
نَا
us
مَا
what
لَا
not
طَاقَةَ
strength
لَ
for
نَا
us
بِ
with
هِۦ
it
وَ
&
ٱعۡفُ
pardon
عَ
from
نَّا
us
وَ
&
ٱغۡفِرۡ
forgive
لَ
for
نَا
us
وَ
&
ٱرۡحَمۡ
have mercy
نَآ
us
أَنتَ
You
مَوۡلَىٰ
protector of
نَا
our
فَ
so
ٱنصُرۡ
help
نَا
us
عَلَى
against
ٱلۡ
the
قَوۡمِ
people
ٱلۡ
the
كَٰفِرِينَ
denying
